Yang dikirimin itu sederet bit data berisi informasi seperti tanggal, jam, nomor telpon yang dituju, line, extension, lama pembicaraan. Jadi kalo mau bikin program aplikasi yang mencatat aktivitas jaringan telepon, yang harus dipersiapkan adalah program yang siap menerima bit-bit data tersebut, biasanya melalui port COM (port untuk printer jenis lama). Jadi jika anda menghubungkan PABX dengan printer, yang terjadi adalah akan ada sebaris data yang dicetak setiap kali ada percakapan yang selesai. Kalo baru mau mulai belajar java baiknya mulai dari notepad dulu deh, compile dari command line, jadi kaga usah belajar IDE yang canggih2 dulu. Kalo udah mulai programming dengan banyak class baru pake IDE aja. Netbeans yah hampir sama kayak eclipse cuma lebih canggih.
