"Hi friends,

This may seem like a funny email but I was so surprised by what I
discovered I had to share it with you.
When I think of the job situation in this country, I can't help but think
this helps in some small way.
I don't know how many households there are in the U.S. but if these were
the only things we bought think of the impact

(She wrote:)
This past weekend I was at Kroger. I needed 60 W light bulbs and
Bounce dryer sheets. I was in the light bulb aisle and right next to the GE
brand I normally buy was an off brand labeled "Everyday Value." I picked up
both types of bulbs and compared the stats - they were the same except for
the price. The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but
the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO
and the Everyday Value brand was made in - get ready for this - the USA .
So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that
are made right here - from a company in Cleveland OH !
So on to another aisle - Bounce Dryer Sheetsyep you guessed it Bounce
was more money and made in Canada, the Everyday Value brand was less money
and MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed
just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the
price!

So my challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for
everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the USA - the job
you save may be your own or your neighbors!

If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address book so
we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time!
Besides, you might save a little green in the process.

Stop buying from China ..

We should have awakened a decade ago..

lets get with the program help our fellow Americans keep their jobs ...
and create more jobs here in the U.S.A.

I personally know judges and one Judge is like a brother.
We have been friends for years. I have a key to his house in my pocket.
From a friend to a friend for a friend.
Steve Helmes is the man that sets up appointments for criminals or
accidents, stuff like that. The Docket. He plans today what Judge will hear
what case
and sets the time and the lawyers and clients and Judge to be on the bench at
the same time.
Well. Long to short because I don't have all day.
In the morning Steve will get 5. 6. 7. Phone calls. One lawyer has an ingrain
toe nail and can't show up. Another; the client got sick or Mom is not
felling good and can't make it. The people in jail can't even make it to stand
before the judge. Sometimes the Judge gets sick. Calls in at 8;30 Steve is
standing
in the halls with his teeth in his mouth. Some judges has gone in to work
only to find that every thing has canceled for the day. My Judge friend go'en
fishing just to kill some time until 3;30 case is to be heard only to be ca
nceled. Lets go eat. Cool.
Do you have the idea now.
Some lawyers play this game until they get the case dismissed just to get it
off the docket.
Steve has a big job.
Like if I set it up for everyone in this group to be on stage with song book
in hand at 1;00 tomorrow . How many do you think you could trust would show.

Dear Reader:

2009-01-16 Thread larmelton3
Dear Reader:

You didn't hear about it on the evening news or read about it on the front
page of The New York Times, but just a few days ago, the Obama Administration
announced a plan to completely decimate and destroy our Armed Forces!

To put it in the words of Robert Gibbs, Barack Obama's incoming Press
Secretary, when the question was posed to him:

"You don't hear a politician give a one- word answer much, but it's yes."

But Obama's NOT calling it a "reduction in force," nor is he giving ANY
indication that the REAL AGENDA is the wholesale destruction of our military.
The
pending decimation is being deceptively pitched to the American public as a
plan to end the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy."

Complementing Obama's efforts, California Representative Ellen Tauscher
recently told the press that she plans to immediately re-introduce her
deceptively
titled legislation, the Military Readiness Enhancement Act (MREA).

Of course MREA, in actuality, DOES NOT EVEN ADDRESS MILITARY READINESS.

The language and purpose of the legislation - which had 148 far-left
co-sponsors in the House of Representatives during the last session of
Congress, but
thankfully died in committee - is geared EXCLUSIVELY toward promoting open
homosexuality in the Armed Forces!

Tauscher recently told reporters she is rushing this legislation because:

"We shouldn't be forcing good men and women out of military service."

But Tauscher is either totally blinded by her far-left ideological worldview
or is simply lying outright because MREA would do just the opposite - MREA
WOULD FORCE GOOD MEN AND WOMEN OUT OF THE SERVICE!

Tauscher and the Obama Administration must be aware of a recent poll by The
Military Times that poses the question; "If the 'don't ask, don't tell' policy
is overturned and gays are allowed to serve openly, how would you respond?"

According to the poll, a full 24 percent of respondents said they would not
re-enlist or consider not re-enlisting!

That's significant!

If those numbers hold constant for all the men and women presently wearing
a uniform (and there is absolutely no reason to believe they would not), the
10 percent of those in the poll who indicated that they would definitely NOT
re- enlist - would EXCEED the number of those serving on active duty in the
United States Marine Corp.

If the remaining 14 percent who said they would consider not re-enlisting are
added into the mix, the number could approach the number of troops presently
serving on active-duty in the United States Army!

You can STOP this unholy alliance between Barack Hussein Obama, those who
hate America and our men and women in uniform, and the radical homosexual
movement.

But we must act today!

Pocket Taser Stun Gun

2009-01-16 Thread larmelton3
Pocket Taser Stun Gun, a great gift for the wife. A guy who purchased his
lovely wife a pocket Taser
for their anniversary submitted this:
Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my
interest.. The occasion
was our 15th anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for
my wife Julie.
What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse-sized taser. The effects
of the taser were
supposed to be short lived, with no long-term adverse affect on your
assailant, allowing her adequate
time to retreat to safety??
WAY TOO COOL!
Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home. I loaded two AAA
batteries in the darn
thing and pushed the button.
Nothing! I was disappointed.
I learned, however, that if I pushed the button AND pressed it against a
metal surface at the same
time; I'd get the blue arc of electricity darting back and forth between the
prongs.
AWESOME!!!
Unfortunately, I have yet to explain to Julie what that burn spot is on the
face of her microwave.
Okay, so I was home alone with this new toy, thinking to myself that it
couldn't be all that bad with
only two triple-A batteries, right?
There I sat in my recliner, my cat Gracie looking on intently (trusting
little soul) while I was reading
the directions and thinking that I really needed to try this thing out on a
flesh & blood moving target.
I must admit I thought about zapping Gracie (for a fraction of a second) and
thought better of it.
She is such a sweet cat.
But, if I was going to give this thing to my wife to protect herself against
a mugger, I did want
some assurance that it would work as advertised.
Am I wrong?
So, there I sat in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my reading glasses
perched delicately on the
bridge of my nose, directions in one hand, and taser in a nother.
The directions said that a one-second burst would shock and disorient your
assailant; a two-second
burst was supposed to cause muscle spasms and a major loss of bodily control;
a three-second burst
would purportedly make your assailant flop on the ground like a fish out of
water. Any burst longer
than three seconds would be wasting the batteries.
All the while I'm looking at this little device measuring about 5' long, less
than 3/4 inch in
circumference; pretty cute really and (loaded with two itsy, bitsy triple-A
batteries) thinking
to myself, 'no possible way!'
What happened next is almost beyond description, but I'll do my best...?

I'm sitting there alone, Gracie looking on with her head cocked to one side
as to say,
'don't do it dipshit,' reasoning that a one second burst from such a tiny
little ole thing couldn't
hurt all that bad.
I decided to give myself a one second burst just for heck of it. I touched
the prongs to my naked
thigh, pushed the button, and . . . HOLY MOTHER OF GOD . . . WEAPONS OF MASS
DESTRUCTION . . .
WHAT THE HELL!!!
I'm pretty sure Jessie Ventura ran in through the side door, picked me up in
the recliner, then body
slammed us both on the carpet, over and over and over again.
I vaguely recall waking up on my side in the fetal position, with tears in my
eyes, body soaking wet,
both nipples on fire, testicles nowhere to be found, with my left arm tucked
under my body in the
oddest position, and tingling in my legs?
The cat was making meowing sounds I had never heard before, clinging to a
picture frame hanging
above the fireplace, obviously in an attempt to avoid getting slammed by my
body flopping all over
the living room.
Note: If you ever feel compelled to 'mug' yourself with a taser, one note of
caution: there is no such
thing as a one second burst when you zap yourself!
You will not let go of that thing until it is dislodged from your hand by a
violent thrashing about
on the floor.. A three second burst would be considered conservative?
SON-OF-A-BITCH, THAT HURT LIKE HELL!!!
A minute or so later (I can't be sure, as time was a relative thing at that
point), I collected my wits
(what little I had left), sat up and surveyed the landscape.
My bent reading glasses were on the mantel of the fireplace. The recliner
was upside down and
about 8 feet or so from where it originally was. My triceps, right thigh and
both nipples were still
twitching.
My face felt like it had been shot up with Novocain, and my bottom lip
weighed 88 lbs.
I had no control over the drooling.
Apparently I shit myself, but was too numb to know for sure and my sense of
smell was gone.
I saw a faint smoke cloud above my head which I believe came from my hair.

I'm still looking for my nuts and I'm offering a significant reward for their
safe return!!
P. S. My wife loved the gift, and now regularly threatens me with it!

I am the Neighborhood Watch Captain in the Harrison Street Neighborhood.
Tom Martz is the Watch Captain in His Neighborhood. Fred Ellison Is watch
captain in Grant Beach.
We are organized somewhat and have meet up and cook outs and a list of phone
numbers of everyone in the hood. If I see someone walking the hood I call a
set of numbers and they watch from their house. It helps if you know that your
neighbor is not moving out but some thug is removing all his TV stuff.
I had that happen one time in my hood.
Walk your hood and get people to give up the house number not a cell phone
Make a copy for everyone to put in a place where it can be retrieved and work
it.
Some people in the hood are gun owners. Know who is and who aint.
If you need a gunner call him with the gun. Not Gramma with a cook book.

the day. I think that would be a good idea.

I tried to email the sheriff several days ago to find out how to set up and
work a neighborhood watch, and I still have not gotten a response. If there
are not any restrictions for the people to just work together, I may forget
hearing from the sheriff, and just talk to the people as I am canvassing about
starting a neighborhood watch, and community gardens. I sure am not going to
wait for government to have the answers, because if they are able to remain
intact financially, I am pretty sure I am not going to like their solution.

Be prepared for the unexpected

2009-01-16 Thread larmelton3
I am sending this because I believe we here in Springfield will be faced with
a very real security problem in the next year or sooner then that.
I say that because Springfield is down 30 or so (Who knows) police officers.
The City is loosing on avearge 3 per month. Doing that math> In one year we
could be down 60 plus officers. The Tax issue passing or failing will not help
or reflect on the matter. It takes a year to get officers hired and trained
and they have stopped all hiring until we support or and vote for a tax.
This has put our City in a very dangerous position and I hope all of you will
contact Home Land Security and as for assistance.
Crime is on the rise and officers are on the decline. We are in the middle of
a new City Manager politically jockeying citizens with false statements in
the Local media and the Media is following him into a security problem that we
may need to take into our own hands with in the next few months.
Are you prepared to defend yourself and or to do what is necessary to stay
safe.

That's what I'M say'en.
Pit bulls are not all mean. They can be trained to do what the owner wants

A fox terrier can kill a pit bull so fast the pit would not know when to fall

I can prove that. No dog fights Please

Larry,
This just makes me laugh! I want a smooth Fox (but now may be getting a
German Pinscher in my future; and I can hear anyone that knows me…not another
dog!
LOL) but have a Jack Russell Terrier, by the name of Jackie. Jackie is the
most lovable, intelligent dog you have ever seen. He is also a mass murderer
of moles, rats, mice, snakes, squirrels (if he can get them), possums (by
himself), a couple of skunks (he smelled really good after that) and helped
with
disposing of a coon (assisted the GP). This is the ground type JRT (short
legs)
and he hunts and works the farm all day long. He weighs around 13# (although
right now on a diet as he stayed at mom’s and put on weight) and will take on
anything that does not belong in our yard.
Not only does he take care of varmints, he is one of the best heelers of
cattle you have ever seen. You set him a line not to let the cattle through,
and
he gets to work.
This is not only the Fox Terrier…It is in ALL Terriers. Some more than
other, but they are tenacious dogs that are born hunting and active. People do
not
understand this and think they are just cute.
It just so happens that the Fox and JRT are both a little OCD (obsessive
compulsive disorder) when it comes to their “job,” they get into a fight mode
and they don’t care who they fight as long as they fight. It can be a little
bit dangerous in a pack situation as they just don’t turn on and off like other
dogs. But I do love their personality.
Jackie knows McDonalds is where you get hamburgers and Walmart is where you
get chicken livers when you go in the car, plus so many other things. My
father has been dead for 3 years now and he will still get excited when he sees
a
man that resembles my father. Too smart sometimes…VBG

Fw: The Politician Who Loves the Crisis

2009-01-16 Thread Fred B. Ellison

D o w n s i z e r - D i s p a t c h

Quote of the Day: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste." - Rahm
Emmanuel, Barack Obama's Chief of Staff

Subject: The politician who loves the crisis

Rahm Emmanuel loves the financial crisis. He sees it as an opportunity. His
admission of this fact, which we've used as our quote of the day, is
breathtaking.
Mr. Emmanuel tried to moderate his enthusiasm for exploiting the crisis by
claiming that his desire wasn't for big government, but for good government.
But has Mr. Emmanuel ever acted as if good government was consistent with
smaller government? We doubt it.

Mr. Emmanuel isn't alone in seeing crisis as an opportunity to make government
"gooder" by making it bigger. Donald Rumsfeld famously wanted to exploit the
9-11 attack by "roping in everything," including Iraq. And that is what they
did.
One "crisis" event was used to create another crisis. Now it's happening again.
Consider what this means: What do the politicians think of you? They think you
aren't wise enough to accept their grand plans for remaking the world, so you
have to be scared into doing the right thing. Their grand plans require crisis
to be implemented. This way of thinking also implies that only the politicians
know what the right thing is.

Your plans and my plans, and all the individual plans of 300 million Americans,
must be superseded by the plans of the politicians and their court
intellectuals. But what's the likelihood that such a small group of people
really knows how 300 million individuals should live -- how their affairs
should be regulated and their money spent?

And what happens when they're wrong? If you and I make mistakes in our small
plans for our own lives, the consequences effect only ourselves and maybe a few
people around us. But when the politicians' grand plans go wrong, millions,
perhaps everyone, is harmed in a grand way.

But isn't this very nearly the definition of a crisis -- something that harms
everyone?

If politicians have the power to help everyone, then they also have the power
to harm everyone. But what they can never have is enough knowledge to predict
the full consequences of their grand, universal "do-gooder" plans.

Knowledge is decentralized. All of us have pieces of the puzzle. This is why
small, decentralized plans tend to work, creating massive progress from the
bottom-up. It's also why grand plans, from the top-down, blow-up.

Here at DownsizeDC.org we think we need to have a few, bottom-up plans of our
own. We need to figure out how to stop the politicians from creating and
exploiting crises. But, unlike the politicians, our plans must not be grand and
universal. They should be humble and flexible, capable of being implemented in
small increments.

We can't pretend to know, in advance, all the steps needed to curtail the
politicians' power to create and exploit crises. No one one bill, by itself,
will stop political opportunism and meddling. But we can know the rough
dimensions of what our plan must achieve. Above all, we can be fairly certain
of the need to make our ideas heard at the same volume as the grand claims of
the crisis exploiters.

After the Arts Council forum last night I was talking with the director of

these will spread throughout the parks located throughout the Greene County

Secret Animal Rights Agenda

2009-01-16 Thread Fred B. Ellison

Exposed: The Secret Animal Rights Agenda Of America’s Next Regulatory Czar

January 15, 2009

Barack Obama’s pick for “regulatory czar,” Harvard Law School Professor Cass
Sunstein, may be the incoming president’s most popular appointment so far.
Judging from his resume -- best-selling author, “pre-eminent legal scholar of
our time,” and an endorsement from The Wall Street Journal -- we can almost
understand why. Almost. Because as we’re telling the media today, there’s one
troubling portion of the new Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs
(OIRA) Administrator’s C.V. that has seems to have flown under everyone’s
radar: Cass Sunstein is a radical animal rights activist.

Don’t believe us? Sunstein has made no secret of his devotion to the cause of
establishing legal “rights” for livestock, wildlife, and pets. “[T]here should
be extensive regulation of the use of animals in entertainment, scientific
experiments, and agriculture,” Sunstein wrote in a 2002 working paper while at
the University of Chicago Law school.

“Extensive regulation of the use of animals.” That's PETA-speak for using
government to get everything PETA and the Humane Society of the United States
can't get through gentle pressure or not-so-gentle coercion. Not exactly the
kind of thing American ranchers, restaurateurs, hunters, and biomedical
researchers (to say nothing of ordinary consumers) would like to hear from
their next “regulatory czar.”

A version of the same paper also appeared as the introduction to Animal Rights:
Current Debates and New Directions, a 2004 book that Sunstein co-edited with
then-girlfriend Martha Nussbaum. In that book, Sunstein set out an ambitious
plan to give animals the legal “right” to file lawsuits. We're not joking:

“[A]nimals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their
representatives, to prevent violations of current law … Any animals that are
entitled to bring suit would be represented by (human) counsel, who would owe
guardian like obligations and make decisions, subject to those obligations, on
their clients’ behalf.”
It doesn't end there. Sunstein delivered a keynote speech at Harvard
University’s 2007 “Facing Animals” conference. (Click here to watch the video;
his speech starts around 39:00.) Keep in mind that as OIRA Administrator,
Sunstein will have the political authority to implement a massive federal
government overhaul. Consider this tidbit:

“We ought to ban hunting, I suggest, if there isn’t a purpose other than sport
and fun. That should be against the law. It’s time now.”
Sunstein also argued in favor of “eliminating current practices such as
greyhound racing, cosmetic testing, and meat eating, most controversially.”

He concluded his Harvard speech by expressing his “more ambitious animating
concern” that the current treatment of livestock and other animals should be
considered “a form of unconscionable barbarity not the same as, but in many
ways morally akin to, slavery and mass extermination of human beings.” Sound
familiar?

As the individual about to assume “the most important position that Americans
know nothing about,” Sunstein owes the public an honest appraisal of his animal
rights goals before taking office. Will the next four years be a
dream-come-true for anti-meat, anti-hunting, and anti-everything-else radicals?
Time will tell. For now, meat lovers might want to stock their freezers.

Our Change Agenda for Animals

Senate confirmation hearings are in full swing this week for President-elect
Obama's Cabinet
choices. Lawmakers are asking the nominees to lay out their vision for
leading the federal agencies, and to explain how they will execute Obama's
plans for confronting the major challenges facing the nation.

  Dog and
cat2Obama's nominees will almost certainly be confirmed by the Senate, and
will assume their new posts shortly after the inauguration. But before they
become immersed in the quotidian needs of running our government, we hope
they will take a step back and look at the big-picture reforms that are
needed.

When it comes to animal protection, more than a dozen federal agencies have
a direct impact on the lives of millions of pets, farm animals, laboratory
animals, and wildlife. In years past, some of these agencies have functioned
largely as an annex to industry, and have been inattentive to the wishes of
Americans who care about animal welfare, food safety, and environmental
protection.

Rather than politics as usual, it's time for change. The Humane Society of
the United States and Humane Society Legislative Fund have developed a
 change
agenda for animals, with 100 immediate steps the executive branch can take
to advance the humane treatment of animals. Here are some of the most
critical reforms needed:

. The Agriculture Department must improve enforcement at slaughter
plants, puppy mills, research laboratories, and wild animal exhibits, and
crack down on abusive practices such as animal fighting, horse soring, and
puppy imports. It should apply basic humane slaughter protections to poultry
so that nine billion birds per year have a merciful death, and finalize its
pending rule to prohibit the slaughter of downed cows who are too sick or
injured to stand up. The agency should work to stop the export of horses for
slaughter in other countries, and should shift the focus of its Wildlife
Services program to effective nonlethal methods rather than the use of
aerial gunning, cruel traps, and toxic poisons.

. The Interior Department must renew and restore its commitment to
the Endangered Species Act, and work to protect listed species and their
habitat. It should reject attempts by trophy hunters to reopen the import of
heads and hides from threatened polar bears, and should list the entire
species of chimpanzees as endangered, bringing an end to their use in
research. The agency should also revamp its Wild Horse and Burro Program,
and broader use of immunocontraception and other alternatives to rounding up
wild horses and holding them in pens at taxpayer expense.

. The Environmental Protection Agency must ensure that factory farm
emissions are not exempt from federal environmental laws, including new laws
addressing climate change. It must also invest in promising alternatives to
animal testing that offer more rapid, efficient screening of pesticides and
other chemicals.

. The Commerce and State Departments must make the protection of
marine mammals and ocean life a priority both domestically and
internationally, working to stop commercial whaling, seal hunts, shark
finning, dolphin drive fisheries, and other abusive practices.

. The Health and Human Services Department must expedite the
retirement of all federally-owned chimpanzees to sanctuaries, honor and
maintain its moratorium on breeding chimps for research, and work to phase
out use of chimps in invasive experiments. It should also prioritize the
development of alternatives to animals in toxicity testing, and take urgent
steps to address the overuse of antibiotics for nontherapeutic purposes on
factory farms.

. The Justice Department must begin collecting data on animal
cruelty crimes as a separate offense category in federal databases, so that
law enforcement officials can analyze the trends and connections with other
violence. The agency should also enforce the longstanding federal law
limiting long-distance transport of farm animals to 28 hours or less, and
create a new Animal Protection Division to ensure strong enforcement of
animal protection laws.

. The White House should appoint an Animal Protection Liaison to
help coordinate animal welfare concerns (policy issues, regulations, and
positions on legislation) that cut across many different federal agencies.

Why the Obama White House May Go to the Dogs
(and the Cows, and the Deer, and the Lab Rats)

Forget about Barack Obama's income tax-challenged Treasury Secretary or the
conflict of interest controversy at the State Department. The most
outrageous Obama appointee just might be Cass
  Sunstein, a Harvard
Law School professor who's flying under everyone's radar and into a job that
hardly anyone has ever heard of.

Cass Sunstein is slated to run the White House's Office of Information and
Regulatory Affairs. He's going to be America 's chief "regulatory czar." And
shocking new research from the Center
  for Consumer Freedom
shows that he's a
dedicated animal-rights zealot.

The 8 Biggest Celebrity Financial Mistakes

Hold on to your sirloin.

The anti-meat nuts at People
  for the Ethical
Treatment of Animals (PETA) and the anti-hunting lobbyists at the Humane
  Society of the United
States (HSUS) used to think that putting Dennis Kucinich in the White House
would be their best hope of wielding real power in Washington . But even
they didn't see Cass Sunstein coming. Sunstein has the legal mind of Chief
Justice John Roberts and the animal-rights agenda of PETA president Ingrid
Newkirk .

We're not talking about animal welfare---the idea of making sure we don't
cause animals unnecessary suffering when we use them for food, clothing,
entertainment, or lifesaving medical research. Sunstein believes in animal
 rights---the notion
that people shouldn't "own" or "use" animals at all, for any purpose, no
matter what the stakes are for mankind.

Cancer research? Not if lab rats are used against their will.

Hunting? Absolutely forbidden, especially if it's for sport.

Leather jackets? The cows need their skin more that you do.

Seeing-eye dogs? They're nothing more than slaves.

And that T-bone steak? Fuhgeddaboudit! If animals have any "rights" at all,
the right to not be your dinner is at the top of the list.

All of this makes perfect sense to Cass Sunstein, who organized the "Chicago
Project on Animal Treatment Principles" at the University of Chicago . He
will soon have the political authority to push for a radical overhaul of the
way the federal government regulates everything Americans do with animals.

How radical? Sunstein
supports making sport hunting illegal, and completely phasing out the
consumption of meat. And if that's not nutty enough, he's actually in favor
of giving animals the legal right to sue people.

Think we're joking? Think again. Here's what Sunstein wrote in his 2004
book, Animal Rights:
Current Debates and New Directions:

"[A]nimals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their
representatives ... Any animals that are entitled to bring suit would be
represented by (human) counsel, who would owe guardian like obligations and
make decisions, subject to those obligations, on their clients' behalf."

Conservative commentators have been openly fretting that Barack Obama may
try to turn welfare entitlements and single-payer healthcare into a new Bill
of Rights. But Cass Sunstein threatens to expand the whole concept of
"rights" to include the rest of the animal kingdom.

That fish wriggling at the end of your hook could soon be a federal offense
(if the fish doesn't file a lawsuit first). Don't say we didn't warn you.

Larry,

This just makes me laugh! I want a smooth Fox (but now may be getting a German
Pinscher in my future; and I can hear anyone that knows me…not another dog!
LOL) but have a Jack Russell Terrier, by the name of Jackie. Jackie is the
most lovable, intelligent dog you have ever seen. He is also a mass murderer
of moles, rats, mice, snakes, squirrels (if he can get them), possums (by
himself), a couple of skunks (he smelled really good after that) and helped
with disposing of a coon (assisted the GP). This is the ground type JRT (short
legs) and he hunts and works the farm all day long. He weighs around 13#
(although right now on a diet as he stayed at mom’s and put on weight) and will
take on anything that does not belong in our yard.

Not only does he take care of varmints, he is one of the best heelers of cattle
you have ever seen. You set him a line not to let the cattle through, and he
gets to work.

This is not only the Fox Terrier…It is in ALL Terriers. Some more than other,
but they are tenacious dogs that are born hunting and active. People do not
understand this and think they are just cute.

Jackie knows McDonalds is where you get hamburgers and Walmart is where you get
chicken livers when you go in the car, plus so many other things. My father
has been dead for 3 years now and he will still get excited when he sees a man
that resembles my father. Too smart sometimes…VBG

Using the Financial Crisis for Global Governance?

2009-01-16 Thread larmelton3

Using the Financial Crisis for Global Governance?
By Brannon S. Howse

Listen to Brannon’s live, national radio program M-F at 5:05 p.m. CT at
_www.worldviewmatters.net_ (http://www.worldviewmatters.net/)
Just few days ago, Nobel Peace Prize winner and former secretary of state for
President Nixon, Henry Kissinger, gave an interview on CNBC at the New York
Stock Exchange. In his interview, speaking of President-Elect Obama, Kissinger
said:

His task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period
when, really, a new world order can be created. It's a great opportunity, it
isn't just a crisis.
The crisis is a great opportunity? Barack Obama’s White House Chief of Staff,
Rahm, Emanuel told business leaders in a November 2008 meeting that the
financial crisis was “an opportunity to do things you could not do before.”
Emanuel has said, “you never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”

Sounds like Kissinger, Obama and Emanuel are singing from the same
song-sheet. But wait, we can add Mikhail Gorbachev to the chorus. Gorbachev is
the last
leader of the Soviet Union and is president of the International Foundation
for Socio-Economic and Political Studies in Moscow and has been pushing his
one-world religion and one-world government ideas for years. In fact, Gorbachev
has conducted much of his work right here in America from an office in San
Francisco.

On January 1, 2009, Gorbachev wrote a column in the International Herald
Tribune. Gorbachev also seemed gleeful over the financial crisis and the great
opportunity for using this crisis to further his globalist agenda:
The G-20 summit meeting in Washington foreshadowed a new format of global
leadership, brining together the countries responsible for the future of the
world economy. And more than just the economy is at stake. …The economic and
political balance in the world has changed. It is now a given that a world with
a
single power center, in any shape or guise, is no longer possible. The global
challenge of a financial and economic tsunami can only be met by working
together.
Working together for what purpose? Gorbachev tells us when he writes:
A new concept is emerging for addressing the crisis at the national and
international levels…If current ideas for reforming the world’s financial and
economic institutions are consistently implemented, that would suggest we are
finally beginning to understand the importance of global governance.
A January 8, 2009, an AP article by Emma Vandore told of a two-day meeting
hosted by French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Former British Prime Minister Tony
Blair who has been calling for a one-world interfaith dialog for years is also
calling for a new financial order based on “values other than the maximum
short-term profits.”
Sarkozy, who I think perceives himself as a potential world leader, said:
In the 21st Century, there is no longer a single nation who can say what we
should do or what w should think… We cannot accept the status quo. We should
discuss how each of us in managing his currency, his interest rates…In the
capitalism of the 21st century, there is room for the state.
When the state moves in it ceases to be capitalism and that is exactly the
goal; the end of capitalism and the fulfillment of the dream of humanists and
socialists; global government.
Globalism has always been tied to occultism and so do not be surprised when
you see more and more evidence that those calling for globalism practice pagan
spirituality.
I, and a few others, have predicted for years that a global crisis of some
kind would be used to implement the freedom robbing tyranny of global
governance. Is this going to be that crisis?

This stuff that the City is trying to pass off to city people is so
misleading to people that don't know anything about dogs.
I am an Old , Old hunter. Have hunted with dogs all my life. I can take any

one year old it is easier.
I have trained dogs to do some things that even you would not believe.
Long story/short. I trained coon dogs for years and years every night if it
was not too hot to go out.
I always thought certain dogs were the best and I had my picks of the breeds.
I was ask to take a Fox terrier coon hunt'en one night and I laughed so da
ng hard I thought I would never stand up straight again.
My buddy was not thinking it was so funny. A Fox Terrier? I said. I have
blue ticks and red bones and plot hounds that will eat your terrier. Without a
smile. He said Ya wan'ta bet?
Well I stopped laugh'en when I looked into his eyes. He was holding the
meanest dang dog I have ever put on a lead in my life. This terrier could kill

This is a good article that needs to be passed around far and wide. I

being vicious.

RE: THIS'L SCARE YA..

2009-01-16 Thread CathyM
I was just on the change.gov site voting on things about animals and most of
what is up there is animal rights from some very scary people. The problem
is that they are also having the stuff voted on to support AR not AW.

Go there and type in HSUS in search.
