[newbie] Using Grip
Have been trying to rip som tunes(bluegrass) from cd to Mp3 with grip, However whin I rip and then burn them to a CD my CD/Mp3 player cannot reconize the Mp3s any Ideas Also Grip insists on encoding WAV files as Ogg -- Aron Smith [EMAIL PROTECTED] Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? Anit takes less time... Either which, might be that thar's some encoders/decoders not inherently built into your installation? Però, in generale, le tue configurazioni sono in un file o directory $HOME/.nome-programma. Prova a vedere se hai un .grip, aprilo con un editor qualunque e rimuovi il 3. Nel caso improbabile che fosse un file binario, cancellalo. Ripartirai come se non avessi mai usato il programma. ciao, Andrea

M9.0, Grip v 3.0.1 track info display problem One of Grip's more endearing features is it's ability to read the track info of wave file on a CD and display the track information like artist,and song title. Try as I may I cannot get this function to display on M9.0 Grip v3.0.1 with discs known to have this information on them and proven to work in M8.2 's version Gripv2.98.6. The excellent help file , which sets the standard on how help files are written has not helped me solve the problem. Is there a bug with this Grip 3.0.1 version or am I not configuring it right, any suggestions welcomed , as this was a very useful and enduring feature of this programme. Se voglio rippare la seconda traccia e chiamare il file seconda.mp3 faccio così: cdda2wav -t 2 seconda.wav -D 0,3,0 bladeenc seconda.wav -t 2 significa traccia 2 -D 0,3,0 sono le coordinate del mio lettore SCSI CD, dovrebbe funzionare anche con -D /dev/cdrom Trovi varie opzioni con: man cdda2wav ciao, Tommaso

Se vuoi un suggerimento installa gogo (non ricordo il sito ma dovresti trovarlo su freshmeat): usa lo stesso lame come encoder ma e' molto + veloce. Ciao a tutti. Ho provato a rippare e a codificare dei brani da cd a mp3 con grip (mdk8.1), ma il risultato è un file inascoltabile, sembra un disco fatto girare al doppio della velocità, ho provato anche con mp3c, ma il risultato è lo stesso. Con mdk8.0 tutto andava bene anche se l'encoder era diverso (lame per la 8.0 e oggenc per la 8.1). Qualcuno può darmi dei consigli?
