Does it look like one single, large file on the CD? In that case,
programs like WinIso and Isobuster may be able to access the individual

Compressed air might do the job, but the dirt and dust may end up in

My question is: the camera syncs properly? Obviously it will not with

Why don't you give it a try? Or use speeds like 1/60 and 1/30 with the

Infinitely variable focal lengths without the hassle of a bellows, which

Danm, I forgot that option.

I don't have a clue as to what the view through the finder would be with

cap on a Pentax? Can you see the image in the finder?

Don't expect too much from the viewfinder image. It *will* be very dark,

not that expensive. Ok, I never tried it, but I did try the DOF preview

I don't have hands-on experience with the ME Super (but with its
predecessor, the ME). AFAIK they are very similar, apart from the
shutter (and its controls). Question: Does the manual for the ME Super
mention the `shutter cocked' indicator? My copy of the manual (for the
ME) doesn't, but that indicator is there (and shown in the pictures
in the manual, but never mentioned).

Back to the 67 dept.: It's not for me. I could afford a basic 67 system,
but I must put it to work *much* more often than I do with my current
35mm setup, just to justify its purchase. Using (not wasting) one roll

But if someone tells me he/she hits the limitations of the 35mm format,
I'll say: Pentax has a solution for that (even two; don't forget the

My guess is that the FP socket is used in combination with flash bulbs.

That would mean that you could use any shutter speed with flash (bulbs only).

The distance between the filter and the optical center of the lens

extreme wide-angle lens at small aperture you get a pretty sharp clear -
coloured transition.

Question: What filter type do you (plan to) use?

The PNG format does support up to 48-bit truecolor or 16-bit grayscale,

K1000's lens (standard 50mm/f2). Has anyone ever used infra-red film with
a K1000?

Look at the DOF scale on the lens. Starting from the big orange mark
(that indicates the set aperture), the second mark to the left should be
orange, not white like the others.

According to the MX manual, you should focus as usual, then turn the
focussing ring so that the measured distance aligns with the IR mark.

The bad news: Neither the 5300 nor the 7400 are listed as `supported' on
http://www.mostang.com/sane/ . There is a trick to get the 5300 working;
it *may* work with the 7400 as well.

See below for the URL.

Just noticed today that at KEH the 40/2.8 pancake has virtually achieved
price parity with the 50/1.2 @$299.00.

And I bought one for NLG 75 (about USD 30) last week from a local shop.

Damned if *I* know what it is... ;)

It is a bit short to connect a pneumatic tool to an air compressor.

Did anyone just recieve a blank email from an undisclosed sender
with the above attachment?
Thanks

[Opens Spam folder...]

Yep. I get one of those every Friday from different places.
Looks like the Hybris worm/virus to me.

ObPentax: nl.foto meeting next Sunday. Includes portrait workshops in-
and outdoors. We also get a Donkervoort car (http://www.donkervoort.nl).
You can also have your equipment tested.

The weather forecast does not look very well, better pack some Superia
400.

Just curious how many Pentaxians I am going to meet there...

Hi, about attachments, you can tell these are aimed at
the microsoft world. You can visually examine the
extension on the file and tell what it is, maybe.
In the microsoft world the last three characters in
the file name tell the OS how to handle the file. So
be carefull of any file with a name ending in,

[List of common extensions and explanation]

I played with Outleak Express once or twice and it does - by default -
*not* show the true extension of a file. If I send you a message
with `foo.jpg' as attachment, OE will display it with an icon
appropriate for images and the name `foo' (without extension).

This particular message contains a file named `TIAZINHA.JPG.pif'.
The displayed name will have the `.pif' stripped and have a
different icon.

OT: A stupid way to scare the bejeezus out of OE users is tacking
the following lines on your message (I put it in a box to disarm it):

/-\
begin present.txt.vbs
Hi, I'm a signature virus. Copy me!
end
\-/

Fortunately, this one is pretty harmless.
