Equally strange to see local places like Gray's Harbor also, since we are now so

Hello Markus !

Sorry to be so late for my reply!

Being a Swiss, I have not the faintest idea what
 an Altoid container is.

Never mind for the AltoƮds... I do not find them in France.

But when I go climbing in the Swiss Alps, I often buy Ricola candies which
are made from Alpine flowers juices and honey. They are good and above all,
I may buy them in small round metal boxes which are very efficient to build
pinhole cameras, with a pretty clean Swiss picture of the Cervin mountain
(= the Matterhorn) on the lid.
I suggest you to try building a pinhole camera with this typical Swiss
product ricola

Enjoy the taste of Alpine flowers and the Cervin vision through a pinhole
:-))

we are almost neighbours (I live in the Jura mountains, east of France, at
120 kms from the Swiss border...)

Yup. I loaded them in a changing bag. I wrapped black electrical tape
around
them. I taped the film inside with skinny Gaffer's tape. At first I was
using Gaffer's tape to seal the outside of the containers. That got
expensive. I've found electrical tape on sale ... three rolls for a buck.

out
during the trip. So I had to stop every 45 miles or so to add another
quart
of oil ... I photographed what was there (at each stop), photogenic or
not.
Until Bismarck, where I dealt with the problem. Bismarck is actually a
really cool town! I never would have stopped there, if I hadn't been in
need
of the services of Corwinn some-body-or-other's Jeep dealership. The

Definitely pornography. they said. Later, we both wondered what the women

Hello to everyone! I joined this list a few weeks ago and have been enjoying
 it immensely.
I especially like the recently posted Merlin Photo by Jim Kosinski.
Lately, I've been making Altoid containers into pinhole cameras. You can
view my progress (and I actually am experiencing progress!) at
 http://www.merrillphoto.com/Pintoids.htm

I'm going to print some more Pintoid images today and will slap them up on
the page as well. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! -Marcy

It's a well-known fact that although the public is fine when taken
individually, when it forms itself into large groups, it tends to act as
though it has one partially consumed Pez tablet for a brain.
