Yeah. I installed License Manager early on, and hit refresh and it showed that it had a valid one month license (Already Licensed) several times but no go. I just compared the numbers on your site and my settings menu and they are the same. Did you install it on the Controller itself or just in your Squeezebox
Server ?
You need to install it on the Controller itself through
Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer menu.

I installed the applet on my Controller and I acquired a trial license but it still says requires license. Have you installed License Manager applet on your controller through
Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer menu ?
If not, you need to do that.
After it has been installed, try to goto Settings/Advanced/License
Manager menu and select the Refresh menu item and see if that helps.
If that still doesn't help, write down the account identity (40
character string) in Controller menu Settings/Advanced/License Manager
menu and verify that it's the same as the one shown on the web site
where you applied for the evaluation license.

The settings can be reached in on your Controller/Touch/Radio in: Settings/Screen/Screensavers/Album Flow Settings The Browse Style setting is the one you are looking for if you like to change the My Music/Album Flow behavior. Got it. Now I guess what's really needed is some sort of acceleration for scrolling through a long list of album covers on the Controller. Can I put that on the feature request list? I have Album Flow (along with License Manager) installed on my Controller; it's accessible and works fine in the My Music menu. I can scroll through album art and select something to play. But reading this thread makes me think there are settings available other than the default behavior (e.g., full screen images), but if so, I have no idea how to access them. Settings/Screen/Screensavers/Album Flow Settings
The Browse Style setting is the one you are looking for if you like
to change the My Music/Album Flow behavior.
There are also similar settings available on the same place for 5
different Album Flow screen saver configurations.

I've installed Album Flow and all I get is a blank screen on the Touch, or sometimes one album cover. I've tried several configurations. Just what is supposed to happen? Sorry for my bad english. I have Squeezebox Radio snd I use SSOTS 4.12R3 with Squeezeboxserver 7.6.0-32429 on Qnap Turbo Pro TS-239. My photos are in /share/Qmultimedia/Photos In WebUi I can see all photos in Photos folder and in Favorite Pictures. I can see thumbnails of all photos in Squeezebox Radio, but when i try to start slideshow I have gott error message: It was unpossible to create picture list despite several attempts Any advices or solution suggestiones? I've been looking at the album art applet for a while now as a way of getting a cover flow type interface onto music streamer. I've just spent 3 hours trying to get it to work, and in desperation thought that there might be a simple solution on this forum. I want to get the app running on SqueezePlay. From the screenshots it appears that this will work (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Album_Flow_applet) I followed the instructions on the applet page here (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Album_Flow_applet) but could not get the applet to show on the list. Next I tried a manual install of the applet by dropping it into the Plugins directory as mentioned on the wiki. Each time I check the list on the server and the applet does not appear. In addition I cannot seem to get Applet installation working from Squeezeplay 7.5 or 7.4. Does anyone have Album Flow working on Squeezeplay? I love the idea of this app and any/all help VERY much appreciated! Its working now - maybe it was because the Song-Info plugin wasn't installed on the server after an update (and the 'mode' option was still set to one of the LastFM-option) ? A new version of Album Flow is now available, the new features are: - Added integration with Michael's Picture Gallery plugin - Added full screen mode to make it possible to switch between larger images - Added support for changing the scrolling speed If you install Michael's Picture Gallery plugin you will in this version be able to select a Picture Gallery favorite which pictures you like to slide through in screen saver mode. I am trying to get this working on my Radio and very little joy. I have got the plugin installed and SongInfo Plugin - the link to the setting webpage is incorrect http://192.168.1.135:9001/plugins/Extensions/settings/plugins/SongInfo/settings/settings.html the settings.html does not exist is I change the file to modulesettings.html it works. I was using the default theme and changing to the classic allowed me to edit the setting if I selected SongInfo. On the radio I get no coverart, if I pick the menu it produces no results, just a beep. Hi erland cool, coool, COOL update! some suggestions: - I'd like to have a new mode 'slideshow', like the flickr slideshow. These lastfm images need to be fullscreen (at least on controller and radio), there are too small when integrated into the other sliding-animations. - Currently they flow too fast. As these are images I don't know I need some more time to watch them. - I also use the Screen Switcher plugin. When configuring it (selecting a screensafer for a slot), the Album Flow Screensafers turn up in random order. - It's a waste to have this only in the Album Flow Applet ! When I browse my library, I want to click the '+' key and get the option 'On Last.Fm' (like the 'On Flickr' option, which unfortunately not always has good results). There is now a new version of the Album Flow applet, the noticeable changes are: - Configuration has been changed so you can setup 5 different Album Flow screen saver configurations - Added support for the new Song Info plugin (available as beta) Note! Due to the changed configuration concept you will be forced to reconfigure your screen saver if you have used Album Flow previously. The Song Info plugin is an enhancement that adds a new CLI/JSON command to the server that makes it possible to retrieve additional information about a song, artist or album. The Album Flow applet uses this to get images, for example artist images from the LastFM web site. So with this new functionality you can now setup an Album Flow screen saver that: - Shows a slide show with artist images from your whole library - Shows a slide show with artist images of artists similar to the one that is currently playing - Shows a slide show with artist images of the currently playing artist I'll post more information about the Song Info plugin in a separate thread. SBS 7.5 Windows nightlies. I've just noticed that Album Flow has appeared in as an item in My Music on my Radio. I'm not sure howe it got there or if it has been there a while and I've only just got around to noticing it. It doesn't appear on my Touch (and I can't sem to work out how to instll it). Anyway, it is very nice and I was surprised how much I like seeing the album covers (not ever having missed them when selecting music via the Squeezebox interfaces). Two questions/requests: 1) really like to browse backwards as well (i.e. from A to Z rather than having to go form A to Z). Is this not possible? 2) Is there anyhting I can do to make the flow a bit smoother. I have about 2k albums all with 300x300 pixel covers. FYI - This is still crashing on the Touch when it is left running for a long time. I tried it in the Squeezeplay Desktop and it looks nice. I get the browse option under My Music on the controller, but not for Touch or Radio. Nothing other than a note showing registering of the applet in the logs. I was thinking that it might be good to have an intermediate menu level where you can select among a number of different sorting and filtering options. All album sorting options available on the Controller/Radio/Touch should be pretty easy but I think it would also be possible to add some filtering options, for example making it possible to browse covers in a specific genre. Sounds good to me. Have you ever tried Moose? There's some good cover art viewing modes in there, and and nice ways of selecting filters. When I tested Album Flow it crashed my controller. Very soon after this the controller ceased to work correctly. The power level began to fluctuate wildly (according to batttery icon) whilst I was holding the device and then the controller rebooted. Now, as soon as I take it out of the charging cradle it just dies. I've swapped the battery and then the cradle over with another controller and also tried Settings/Advanced/Factory Reset but it's made no difference at all. It seems impossible that Album Flow could have caused this but I mention it here just in case but does anyone have any ideas what I might do to try to recover it? It uses similar principle as Apple Cover Flow on iPod or Mac to scroll through all your albums. Do I have the 1st download ?? A very short test on my Controller, obviously. A few ideas: - implement some acceleration when the dial has been rotated for a while ? or use keys to jump at the beginning of a letter ? - start by displaying the CD image as a placeholder, and fill that with the image only when the CPU has enough time to do it. This is how coverflow works, I think. (my Controller has rebooted when I was writing this. Feeling exhausted after so much exercise, maybe :) - could the front cover zoom to a larger size on the Controller ? - what about a vertical bar on a side of the screen, with a cursor showing the current position ? That's a neat project. Oops... after about 3 minutes running as Screensaver on the Touch, it crashed the Touch. Erland, do you know if there is already an open enhancement about having to reinstall applets after every firmware update? Now it just crashed the Touch again. I'm going to let it run one more time to see if crashes on the same album... I really like it ! Could you implement that it respects the configured album order ? For the normal album list you can change it under 'Settings-Advanced-Albums Sort Methode' and I have it on 'Artist, Year, Album' -- bluegaspode One SB-Duet+Receiver. Things I'd prefer are: * Larger artwork when it's right in front of you with more overlap until then * Smaller text with less gap between the two lines * Smoother flow (it's a bit jerky for me) Overall I'd like to see more artwork on my screen. I'll definitely use this. I wish there was a setting on the controller to *stop* the screen dimming when it was charging. I haven't seen any albums past A because that's where it keeps crashing on me. It's a great start, though. It will definitely become my off screensaver on the Touch if the crashing gets sorted out. I suspect the crashing might be caused by larger libraries than mine, how many albums do you have ? Very nice erland (again). I guess it could be an idea to have two 'modes'. One random when used as a screensaver. And another not-random for use when browsing. In the latter case obviously some optimisation is needed in order to make it more useful. Its probably never going to be as fast as say the regular album browsing method. But things such as remembering where the position in the list upon exiting/entering, perhaps switching into some kind of letter-only mode when things go really fast etc. could be nice. 2200 albums. My Controller seems to like rebooting when it's sitting idle and its battery is low. I've updated to 7.4 yesterday, after MikeyG's announcement, and I already rebooted 3 times, including the occurrence after playing w/ Album Flow. The reboot came well after I stopped playing with cover flow. 2 minutes later maybe.
