Before trying to install it manually, have you added BoomX2's repo as an "Additional Repository" way at the bottom of the Plugins page? The STD Screensaver plugin (latest version) shows up on the inactive plugin list and when I try to load it it fails to load - the log shows the following message: Slim::Utils::PluginManager::load (323) Error: Couldn't load Plugins::SuperDateTime::Plugin this happens every time I try it does not happen with any other plugin Ive tried to load and Ive tried different versions of the lms with no success The plugin worked perfectly until about four days ago. Thanks for reply. SDT is not among 'recommended' nor 'other' 3rd party plugins. When I add 'netcologne...' nothing happens. When I add 'downloads...' new section appears: SuperDateTme Repository, but it's blank, without SDT plugin to enable. So, it's not that I can't install SDT, but there is not plugin to install. And what happens with 5.11.16. which I disabled, it should be somewhere to enable it again? I also have SDT 5.11.16. installed on the other machine, 'Update plugins automatically' is enabled. If 5.11.16 was working for you, 5.11.18 should work as well. Check your server logs for clues as to why the plugin is not installing for you. PS - You shouldn't need to add either of the SDT repository URLs to the "Additional Respositories" section. SDT is now included in the "3rd party plugins" section. You can get all the data from your PWS when you load them up to Wunderground. Then you get a key for your own WU station that can be used in SDT-settings. WU and weather.com data are possible to be shown together. Since I made some modifications¹ to get temp/hum from my own weather station I'd be very happy if I could fix it in Plugin.pm directly. Is that possible? [1] After WU vanished I had do create a fake DNS entry to make my weather station do http requests to my own internal server with a bit of php code. During testing I shortened the delay after reboot before checking for non-Legacy players. I suspect your hardware takes longer to boot causing the issue. That was confirmed this morning when SDT showed 29 degrees when it was actually 9. I was thankful that BoomX2 was working the overnight shift :-) and an update had already been posted. I applied the update and now neither my Radio nor my Touch are showing any data. The update was definitely applied as LMS Plugins is showing v5.11.18 and I had restarted LMS. I have power cycled both devices. I have rebooted the Windows PC where LMS lives. All that's displaying are the static names of the variables. No data. Any suggestions? I'm using LMS 7.9.4 - 1603273368 which was fine up until yesterday's weather.com blackout. Thanks. (Sorry for the large image. I missed @bluecbeeryale's comment about not upgrading to keep from breaking SDT. I have been maintaining the weather.com version of SDT since ~2014 when Greg Brown was no longer able to. I actively use it on several Booms, Touch, Radio, and a RasbPi with a 7 inch screen. I plan to continue to use LMS and maintain SDT to keep it compatible with the latest versions LMS for the foreseeable future. I was previously running Max2Play (Ubuntu 14.04 trusty) on an Odroid U3 with IO::Socket::SSL version 1.965. I was having similar issues with a different plugin @mherger recommended that I update to an IO::Socket::SSL version greater than 2.0. He indicated that @bpa had determined that some connections using IO::Socket::SSL versions lower than 2 were not reliable. I ended up moving to a RasbPi and piCorePlayer that currently has IO::Socket::SSL version 2.068. After the upgrade all my issues were resolved. I am not sure if it was IO::Socket::SSL or some other component that was updated that ultimately fixed the issue. @bpa also posted that Max2Play needed to be updated to at least Buster or Stretch. That wasn't supported on the Odroid U3 which drove me to move to RasbPi. First a huge thank you @ BoomX2 for keeping on the work improving this really cool plugin! Had this idea since my old mum, she will actually be 80 today! ..:-) ,has a Touch which only is connect to MySqB since she's only listening to radio stations and don't have a computer. So I was fiddling a bit last night in an attempt to get SDT installed on TinySC (e.g the "internal" SqB Touch server) but to no avail. Tried 3 different install directories and also changed the "min/maxVersion lines in the install.xml file. Didn't get it to work. I had some some success with SDT by choosing an off screen that shows different forecasts but this only works with my radios. If it is possible to upload the data of your older PWS you can use them in SDT. Check with the WU and Davis websites. Forecasts (not the ones under Extras) can be displayed when you configure with CCH a clock for SDT. There is no need to display artist etc. or a even clock. But all items you want to show up must be configured for each day separately. That are quite a few for a 10-day forecast. I just found superdatetime a few days ago so pretty new at it. I thought Weatherunderground was replaced by weather.com? So we can still use it for our personal stations? I have an older Davis (VP2) that I am thinking of bringing out of storage and interested in any info you have on this? Also on my radio SDT displays the current conditions just fine. But how do I get it to show the forecast as well? It's there but under extras... I have been trying to get this to show up on a radio. I think the plugin itself is working because I can see it under extras. I have read that it won't work without custom clock enabled. I have done that but when I try one one the clock configs, the screen basically locks up with "fetching clock styles" with a spinning wheel. Is there any alternate way to configure this? It should be a .png but if that syntax is used for the file name then Material will use xxx.svg instead (so you would have to provide that alongside the .png) It looks inside the .svg file so that it can change the colours to match the current setup. Hi I have Jivelite running on a Joggler using Chill's build (direct to Joggler's internal flash), https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110040-Jivelite-on-a-Joggler/page22, http://www.cjh.me.uk/joggler/alpha04/. I have enabled the SuperDateTime plugin and configured it. This now appears in the Extras menu and I can see the correct weather data. I have added the CustomClock via the Applet menu on the Joggler. How do I configure the CustomClock to use the SuperDateTime option and then apply this as the ScreenSaver when the player/Jivelite is in Stopped or Off mode?
