The 30 seconds preview: that is fine and yes I choose to hide them. But that is not 'my problem' :-) What I'm seeing is that the 'Bestsellers' is no longer populated with tracks where 'New releases', 'In the press' and the other categories still are populated. Here's the problem I tried to outline: all current Bestsellers are flagged as "preview only" (see the asterisk in the screenshot). Why that is so, I don't know (yet). Works OK for me. You may need to clear some cache or something somewhere. Something's odd here (and I've seen it on my end, too): those asterisks usually label tracks which only are available as 30s snippets. But in this case I was able to play full tracks in HiRes, too. Something on Qobuz' end must have changed. Unfortunately they have taken their documentation offline... I'm awaiting some feedback from them. hsmeets - you can define whether you'd like to see such snippets in the Qobuz plugin settings. And there certainly is no trace of Qobuz in there. I'm loving listening to Qobuz in CD quality on my Squeezebox Touch. I mainly listen to classical and Jazz recordings and concur with the above that it would be nice to separate the individual works but my main difficulty is that there doesn't seem to be any way to sort the favorite albums into alphabetical (or any other) order, they just seem to appear randomly making it very difficult to find anything when you have a large number of favorites. Having said what I did in my previous post, I've just come across a boxed set of the Martinu Quartets where the information is displayed in the way that jacobacci and I would like. So it seems there is an inconsistency on Qobuz's part which makes dealing with this more difficult. I can confirm jacobacci's point. It isn't an issue I thought of raising as I am only too happy to have Qobuz available as it is currently - but this issue is an irritant. Classical works (or "pieces" in the vernacular) such as symphonies, sonatas, concertos, etc, etc are usually comprised of multiple movements. Each of these movements is usually a separate track. In LMS Qobuz the movement names (tracks) are shown but often not which piece they are part of. An extreme example is when there is a multidisc set. Take Annie Fischer's recording of the 32 Beethoven Piano Sonatas. These are the iPeng screen shot followed by the Qobuz desktop app screen shot of the first few movements (or tracks). As you can see there is no way of telling which piece the movements relate to on the LMS Qobuz screenshot. Thanks Michael Allmusic and Roon started grouping classical music tracks into works a while back. Through the Qobuz / Roon integration, I guess Qobuz adoped the same. I have attached a screenshot of how this grouping looks in the Qobuz Tablet app. If you retrieve track names the "usual" way, you only get the movements, not the works (group) names. In this case you would be missing the symphony name. On another note, have you been able to look into the classical track grouping issue mentioned by @marcoc1712? It seems to me the groups (Symphony names) are not displayed in 1.530. I have attached a screenshot. I haven't looked into this yet. As I'm not a Classical listener at all, I'm not even familiar with the terms :-D. I'll see what I can do. Any thoughts on future functionality to add a song to an existing Qobuz playlist? Right now I can only add the song to Qobuz favorites, then I have to go to the Qobuz web app and move the song(s) to the playlist I want. I must admit I've been hesitant to add this kind of feature to my plugins... I'm not even sure why. Most likely because it's none of the features I'm missing myself 99.9% of the time :-). But just yesterday my son asked me to add something to his playlist, because he doesn't have access to any official Spotify application. Thanks to him there's a chance I might re-consider my laziness. v1.525 is another minor update. It allow HiRes listeners to limit the stream to 96kbps when 192kbps would be too much in terms of bandwidth or player available. In particular when playing tracks from a compilation or Various Artists album, you should now get to see the tracks performer rather than the album artist with the tracks. Sorry but I am unable to get into my Sonicorbiter server that way. Andrew intentionally makes that difficult to save himself headaches later. ?!? that's a standard LMS feature: Settings/Advanced/Logging. There you can select what to log. And there is a download link for the log file. If Andrew's strategy to save himself headaches is to cause others more of it, then he should rethink his strategy... I can point to an example album though. Btw, regarding the plugin config, i don't understand the need for setting the streaming quality (mp3, cd or hi-res) at a plugin level, since it is something that the owner of the subscription chooses at its account level. No need to modify this at plugin level. Especially if it does not work well enough... :confused: Trust me when I say I only implemented the selection upon user request. "I have low bandwidth in one location, but not the other" or similar might have been the reason. The selector wasn't the issue at all. But rather the user information I get returned after logging in. Flac is played after I (re)start the server for the first album but for the next album it tuns to mp3. If debug data are needed I ll collect them ! Uhh... oh... I think it would only play losslessly for the first hour after logging in... the data is being cached with an expiry which is shorter than the token's lifetime... Thanks for all your log files. Unfortunately I haven't found anything really helpful in there :-(. I do see that the data we receive from Qobuz should be all good. And I do see from some that after having played lossless tracks for a while the plugin would indeed start to request lossy instead. So basically the log only confirms what you reported already... As others reported it started as FLAC (after reboot) but somewhere/sometime it switched to MP3 Could you please check whether the files in your playlist by then would have the mp3 extension or flac? Similar issue here, after restarting LMS, Qobuz files play fine in Hi-res flac on squeezelite and/or squeezeplayer for the first hour or so then it's switched (down) to 320kbps mp3. Apparently, the plugin does not get a new token after the old one
expires after an hour:
Authentication takes place at 14:59. At 15:57 the request still contains
user_id and credential_id. The next request (at 16:01) has none for
user_id and credential_id. I don't see another

one at 14:59. The log runs till 18:18.

Latest 7.9.2 nightly on a win7 machine and Qobuz 1.370 plugin plays in mp3 right from the start instead of flac. If played via the ickstream plugin then flac is played correctly. No ther changes made other than to update to Qobuz 1.370. Hi Michael, I uploaded a log file to your dropbox, this is for 1,5 hours, I have not yet found the login api call you mentioned. As others reported it started as FLAC (after reboot) but somewhere/sometime it switched to MP3 logging is still on if I see the login api call it in the next hour I upload a 2nd file. Fairly New user on Qobuz and when I search for Albums and they are displayed; Is there any way to tell if they are Hi-Res or their Bit rate, before they are actually played? Sometimes I come up with 4 of the same albums, but they are different bit rates. Qobuz requires API users to report listening activity. v1.370 finally satisfies this requirement. And might be the most boring update for you ever. There's no new feature. What app or program do you guys use to communicate with the computer that's running LMS? In my case LMS is running on the SOtM SMS-200ultra and I used to control it from my Windows 10 laptop or my android phone in a Crime browser environment. Now that I am switching to Apple (iPhone X) the control via Chrome is terrible. When I tilt the screen, or try to magnify part of the screen, is gets messed up really bad. So chrome in iOS is not working really well to control LMS. So what should I use? IPeng? One question. Is there a way to configure the plugin to support multiple bit rate based on the device in question? I have a duet and classic, so I have set the plugin setting to say only redbook/cd quality. My account is allows me to stream up to 192K, so wondering the best setting possible. Right now, I have set it so it can support the oldest device in the hose. I thought 7.9.2 should be able to transcode the higher bitrates automatically, if needed.
