Re: CS>Infected Tonsils
Hello, I am really new at taking CS...my husband has not taken any yet...he now has infected tonsils...i wonder if i can put some of the CS in a clean throat spray bottle and have him spray his throat? I have some 5 ppm and some 10 ppm made...Since he has not used this yet, what strength should we use and how much? Any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance Patty Wolfe Dear Patty, The sprayer should help, but also make sure he swallows a goodly amount to kill the bugs via the bloodstream. I took 3 big swallows a day of my homebrew when I had Lyme, 3 years ago. Don`t know for sure what the PPM was. Good luck!! Marsha

Lead solder? >> << How long will I have to run the cs maker to get 76 oz of distilled water to 10 ppm? >> I can answer two. It doesn't matter what type of alligator clips you buy, as long as they make good contact with the silver electrodes and make no contact with the water. Oh, make that one. Your other questions lie in the 'try it and see' basket. The longer the electrodes the more current you will draw and the quicker the reaction will be. How long it will take depends on your 'recipe'. Voltage, current limit (or not), electrode length, distance apart. 76 oz = 2.25L, if the electrodes are 6" long, 2" apart, you run with 27V and have no current limit, then I would guess 10ppm in about 3 hours. How long the batteries would last, I don't know. Why not buy a small power supply, say 24V, this would allow for repeatable results and enable proper evaluation of test runs. Do two or three runs of different time lengths and send samples to Robert Berger for testing. Good Luck - Ivan -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. Re: CS>[CS] DMSO as transport mech
A lot of people on the list are mixing MSM ( a derivative of DMSO but without the garlic odour problem) with CS. It is especially helpful when using topically as CS does not wet the skin or absorb easily. Also useful as eye spray and nasal spray. Please be aware that MSM and DMSO are solvents, and will transport anything on the skin into the body, toxic or not, and if taken internally will enhance the action of the transported drug or CS some four-fold. Re: Cs and sinus>>>>Marshall
Donna, I have just been through a nasty flu, which left those around me incapacitated, except for those taking CS :-) I found I really had to up my internal dose to 2oz (60ml) and spray and sniff CS and spray into the mouth whilst breathing in, and the odd spray into the eyes. I took a small spray bottle with 20ppm straight to a cold and windy building site where I am working long hours, perched 50 metres up on a scaffold welding stainless steel pipe (need some instant money). I had that spray bottle steaming , but boy it saved my life, I didn't feel brilliant but good enough to feel confident I could work safely. I just sprayed when I felt the need, you can tell when it wears off. Maybe every half an hour or more at the height of my discomfort. Five days and I feel normal again. Re: CS>Copper and gold trade
A few months ago we made some colloidal copper, same way as the silver (HVAC). Testing found it to be less effective than silver on killing pathogens, so we did not explore it any more. We attempted making some gold the same way, but have no way to measure gold, the spectrophotometer does not have a "gold" kit. Using conductivity measurements we found very little increase in conductivity, so it appears that gold does not work as well at any rate. We plan on doing some more testing shortly though. Herpes Simplex hides in the nerve ganglea. CS will keep it from appearing, but I am not so sure it will actually get to that which is "hiding". Are you taking a maintnance dose of CS? CS>Sinus Infection cured!!!Yayy!
Dear Everyone, this list is so amazing and the amount of information on it so huge that I end up only reading and never seem to get the time to write. But first, a huge thank you to everyone who encouraged me in persisting in using the CS for my sinus infection. Unfortunately, the CS I made myself with my beck's silver pulser was not good enough or strong enough or something because I tried taking it and spraying it in my nose for a couple of days with no success. But then I bought some 200ppm .0001 CS nasal spray from the store, and some 500ppm to hold on my tongue against the roof of my mouth and I could literally feel my sinuses clearing when I held it against the roof of my mouth. Within 48 hrs my quite serious sinus infection was gone. Yay!!! The last time I tried to get rid of a sinus infection I ended up on three months of antibiotics which only made me worse and they wanted to do sinus surgery and eight months later I am still fighting candida and a parasite from the antibiotic effects and here there is a way to get rid of it in 48 hrs with no side effects. I am so so grateful and excited. (told a friend and she cleared hers in a week with 40ppm storebought spray) My only worry is my herb doctor who tells me that CS is toxic and will cause scarring in the brain and kill brain cells, especially when used on the sinuses. He says he had a patient whose brain "went south" from using a CS nasal spray. So, I understand that there are no studies done on safety because who is going to fund them when CS is so cheap and easy to make on your own - but are there any articles at all that I could find to help refute him? He xeroxed me an article from a book on toxic effects of metals and it said "Large doses of colloidal silver administered intravenously to experimental animals produced death due to pulmonary edema and congestion. Hemolysis and resulting bone marrow hyperplasia have been reported. Chronic bronchitis has also been reported to result from medicinal use of colloidal silver (Browning1969; Luckey et al 1975) " Has anyone read these articles? Obviously we are not mainlining it in large quantities so I don't know if it even applies. I think I would like to take some on a regular basis so that I can help support my system while fighting off this candida/blastocystis, but I'm still a little worried about safety. And I have to get my setup working, so will have lots of questions but will save them for the next post. This is just a huge thank you. Take care, Katarina P.S. Can anyone suggest a good list or place to go for help with this candada? I've tried so many things and done so much reading and it's still just not working . Also, is there anyone on the list other than Margaret who used Becks silver pulser to make their CS and could help with additional advice? Re: CS>Input, even second opinions, always helps...
Thanks so much, Ivan...let me make sure I am clear about a couple of things in your post... << The longer the electrodes the more current you will draw and the quicker the reaction will be. How long it will take depends on your 'recipe'. Voltage, current limit (or not), electrode length, distance apart. 76 oz = 2.25L, if the electrodes are 6" long, 2" apart, you run with 27V and have no current limit, then I would guess 10ppm in about 3 hours.>> If my wires are 9" in the water (at that length, they would almost touch the bottom of the container) and one or two inches apart (does it matter?)...Would that work? Is there something I should know about the distance between the wires v. length of the wires? Would the length of time be shortened by the extra wire? Would I run the test partially by sight evaluation? (Stop one test at guesstimated time, another when the golden color appears?) Ivan, re your next thought (below)... <> ...I'm hoping by now you are realizing you are talking to a nursery school student in connection with these electrical issues. I was thinking 3 9V batteries (the rectangular type, with the positive and negative connections on the top of the battery) was a small power supply. I don't know what 24V is...is that larger or smaller than 3 9V batteries? What sort of power supply is a 24V? A car battery? Believe me, it is a little painful to be this ignorant! << Do two or three runs of different time lengths and send samples to Robert Berger for testing.>> Thanks, I will do this... Re: CS>Question re larger quantity production
Hi Reid, thanks for getting into this... << How many oz of water do you use to make a batch? How long does it take to make 10ppm?>> The container I bought to use holds 76 oz. I thought I would make a full container each time, because both my son and I are going to start using CS for candida, 8 oz a day each. (So about a 4 day supply.) I haven't begun yet, and the length of time it takes to make the 10ppm (the concentration I am interested in) is one of my questions. Is this a process where I will have to sit with the maker to wipe wires every time? Or, once I have a bit of experience with the proper run time, can it run on its own? Any help is much appreciated. Re: CS>Candida Forum?
Sorry, Phyllis, I must have missed your post... << >I would like to know more about the forum and the experiences with CS and >candida. Can anyone share? >Thanks >Phyllis >> Is this the URL you got? http://www.healthyawareness.com/Candida/index.htm It is an excellent place. Use the forum's search function for colloidal silver, and you will find everything written thus far. I believe it is there (althought it might have been the Yeast L list service, might have been here, on the silver list) where I learned about a couple of people who completely cured the overgrowth situation with 8 oz of CS daily. Acupuncture, combined with the treatment, may be a factor (as it was in these cases). I'm on a mission in the candida cure department. It isn't a pleasant or easy condition, but my concern goes to an even deeper place. My son is 14 (and has candida). I recently read that it can sometimes cause impotence in some men, and I don't want him to grow up to that as a future. I'd like to get rid of the whole problem before he has his first sexual experience. You can imagine how mortified he would be if he thought I had written this (although he doesn't yet know that candida can cause this problem). Please feel free to email me directly. This is quite my focus on the internet. It takes a couple of hours a day to keep up with all of the information, but I try to stay focused on the mission. Re: CS>[CS] DMSO as transport mech OT tryptophan
Can you explain the reasoning behind the warming of milk at bedtime? Does it enhance the activity of tryptophan? I personally enjoy 5-Hydroxy-Tryptophan 5-HTP which is 10 times more effective than plain tryptophan... according to all I have read. Health food stores usually sell the 5-HTP extracted from Griffonia... a legume which is native to Africa, or at least is the source location now. Extracted 5-HTP is much safer in regards to the microbiological fermentation process utilized to make tryptophan. I trust Nature's organic synthesis techniques over and above anyone else I have met. -Original Message- From: James Vernon, Allison To: silver-list@eskimo.com Date: Thursday, July 08, 1999 2:06 PM Subject: Re: CS>[CS] DMSO as transport mech >> >2) Some people might be interested to learn that >> >L-Tryptophan is available from the same kinds of >> >sources - just be sure and DON'T tell them you are >> >buying it for your OWN consumption. Re: CS>[CS] DMSO as transport mech
MSM is methyl sulfonyl methane or dimethyl sulfone DMSO is dimethyl sulfoxide or methyl sulfoxy methane the two different names for each substance represent American CE and IUPAC standards for naming. In any case, although related and one can be manufactured from the other, they are NOT the same substance. MSM has one additional oxygen per molecule. At room temperature MSM is solid white crystals, DMSO is a clear liquid. -Original Message- From: Scharbach To: silver-list@eskimo.com Date: Thursday, July 08, 1999 9:49 AM Subject: Re: CS>[CS] DMSO as transport mech >Ok, Is MSM a refined version of DMSO?I have read that the FDA is >regulating DMSO >because there are so many impurities in it. > >Sparrow > >> Just received email from Janis and she informed me that her healthfood >>store has told her that DMSO has been discontinued again. CS>Copper & Gold
Thanks to those that replied at least this is a start on a little known subject. YES i know this is silver list, But it is a colloid ? The knowledge base is growing.. I tried making copper like c/s was not pleased with the result, must be another way. 1: Firstly if making precision anything, remove as many variables as possible Water. 1: Rain (direct) into glass, not off the roofing, or as in my case pure spring water gives the best results. If you start with bad water you will always have bad water, Proved this by first making a still.,(Beginner of course) using a tin plated boiler into a stainless condenser, got a tinny taste, tried aluminium, got cloudy results making c/s. Under those conditions, spring water tasted best, I now use all stainless, But pyrex glass would be better I think. Commercial distiller machine water, tastes of plastic, some that i sampled anyway. didnt use it. Once asked some sellers of these machines, (Trick Question) If I were to put Cyanide (Possum poison) in the water and you were to distill it in your marvellous machine, will you drink the distilled water ? Answers were allways NO! Storage of distilled water: Use washed glass only (rinse well ) , New plastic bottles are contaminated, oil mist particles if blow moulded, also some very toxic mould release chemicals can be present. (silicone ?) used bottles are probably not as bad. Although I have read somewhere that contamination from the plastic itself is possible. Temp: This has a definite effect on quality and speed, and current flow after much experimentation I have found a constant temp of 110>F works best, dont preheat in microwave, stand your bottles on a warmer pad and adjust water temp. takes a little time to set up. You could use a stove element but this is dangerous and difficult to repeat reliably and if the glass should break or you accidently spill it. you got problems c/s possibly wont fix. Warm your next batch of water at the same time. Temp influences current flow markedly. Constant current: I am making c/s at only 7 volts using pulsed dc. using about 2oz starter c/s in to 28oz. Glass Jar. Will make 28oz in about 2-3 hours, (sorry never bothered to time it exactly) no sediment or floating particles. no filtering. my power supply can put out 6 amps, current actually used is very dependant on the area of electrode immersed in the water. What this means is the process will only draw as much as it needs until it reaches runaway. (low resistance) With the use of a line current meter and monitor. (Few diodes and a transistor, and relay.) My unit switches off automatically when this current flow reaches 8ma, (adjustable) this means a set and forget, no overcurrent possible, same result every time. More than 10ma should never be required. At 8ma current flow my ppm is correct, and the process is complete. You would have to work out your own completion ppm and current flows as this will depend on your electrode length, size and spacing. small diameter wire, under 1mm is not suitable. At least 1.2mm+ is needed. otherwise your surface area to space available in a 28oz jar just wont work out very well. Bar shaped electrode would be better, but run whatcha brung. Happy Fiddling. Hi Taylor, I have also been fighting Candida, and have found some pretty effective ways to bring it down - I just seem to be having a hard time getting the last little bit out. I'd love to share information - on or off the list, since it isn't explicitly CS related - so if you want to, feel free to email me privately.
