CS>MSM

2000-05-25 Thread MzOzz2
Hello everyone,
I just looked in the archives trying to locate something about the
possible detrimental effects of MSM. I found a few tidbits there, but not
what I was looking for, so I'll pose some questions here.
Does anyone have an idea as why when upon taking MSM for the first time
last night, it made me sick. I think I am allergic to it.
Why would one be allergic to a natural substance from the earth?
I know it was the MSM that made me sick, for within an hour or so of
taking it, I began getting a feverish achy feeling all over. I went to bed
early, tossed and turned all night (my husband said I was even moaning when I
was asleep). I felt as if I had the flu. This morning I am feeling better
after LOTS of water to flush it out of my system.
Many years ago, enough so that I had totally forgotten (until last night)
I had some sulfur prescribed for something or other. I had a reaction to it
then too...feverish flu like symtoms.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
Love, Kathy

Re: CS>MSM

2000-05-25 Thread James Allison
Some of the MSM out there has sulfate in it, which is what people are allergic
to. Pure MSM which is an organic sulfonyl will not cause an allergic reaction.
I have personally talked with two people that are highly allergic to sulfur
(so much so that they end up in a hospital when ingesting less than a teaspoon
of sulfur) and convinced both of them to try MSM and they both take it twice a
day now without any problems. Most people, from what I understand, that are
allergic to sulfur are actually allergic to the sulfates.

The MSM you tried may have been cut with something, what brand is it that you
tried?

Dear Listers, An update on my poor ear, if anyone cares... Monday I went to
an ENT who says my eardrum is intact, thank Goodness!! He cleaned out some
debris and put me on Cipro. Seems I may have an infection in the inner
ear,
which has caused such a fluid buildup that it muffles my hearing. It pops
now when I yawn or swallow, but won`t clear. sigh...
What the heck happend to my CS??? Boy, I am losing faith...Maybe the
batteries are dead again? Don`t know, the last batch looked normal.
Tomorrow
I`ll make some up with an AC unit my hubby left here and give that a try.
What a weekend I had! First the ear, then the new crown didn`t fit and the
dentist had to redo the whole thing, which made me too miserable to go to
the Arabian horse show here in Vallejo.
Then Saturday I was still miserable, my favorite horse lost the Preakness,
and my favorite NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon`s car crashed. Sunday I was too
yucky to go to church, so I spent the day sitting, just sitting. At least
no
one I love died!
I AM getting better, gradually. Now, if I can just survive my court hearing
next Wednesday, about the divorce. (This will determine which state has
jurisdiction, CA or Arkansas, and whether or not I`ll get support.) If not,
this computer will have to be sold, and that will be the last of Marsha in
Vallejo...
Thanks for letting me vent. Hope you all are well!!
Love,
Marsha

You may have some with some impurities in it. We have bought 4 different brands
of MSM and one of them makes my wife sick. They are all suppose to be pure, but
I suspect that one has some leftover solvents in it or something.

Those are exactly the same symptoms my wife gets on that particular brand.

You are likely referring to a sulfa drug. Entirely different animal.

Very interesting. But I could not determine just what "the silver
solution" is? If it is a true solution, then it is not a colloid, but
on the other hand solution may mean "answer". Does anyone know if this
is truely a colloidal silver, a silver salt or what?

Kathy,
In my personal experience of using MSM @ 8-16 grams per day, it is best not
to take at or near bedtime because it is stimulating. The time or two that I
got sick from taking it , was when I took it on an empty or almost empty
stomach. Eat a meal first.

2000-05-25 Thread boberger
Hi Ya'all,

It might be worth ones while to print out the report, all six pages of
it.

On page #2 the report lists various pathogens that were effected by
the "silver solution." You will net that it refers to the strength of
the solution in ppm, which is the common measure used in the color
metric method and the AA method for measuring the silver content of a
silver solution. To my knowledge there is no direct method for measuring
colloidal particles.

All listings for ppm on this list whether by AA, spectrophotometer, or a
Hanna instrument are for the ionic content of silver in the solution.

  Sure, James!

The basic stuff is, the CS I was taking seemed to hold everything off,
wasn't getting any better, wasn't getting any worse, until I ended up in ICU
with heart problems. The Docs decided
it was the Lyme, they finally DIAGNOSED it as Lyme, and I took 6 weeks of IV
  Rocephrin.

Felt fabulous!! Back to my old self. My SIL who has never known me
  without Lyme, said
she didn't think I was the same person.

Anyhow, I've been doing pretty well, a few little ups and downs, here and
  there, but the Doc's
said it was just residual effects, which I believed since it was all joint
pain, or tendon type pain, and it had mostly faded.

About 3 weeks ago, though, I started getting really tired, and spacey.
Then the mood swings, REALLY forgetful, and now my knees and elbows are
  aching again. Gee,
seems like I've been down THIS road before, and thought I'd never want to do
  it again. . . . . .

Gee,
seems like I've been down THIS road before, and thought I'd never want to do
it again. . . . . .

Some of the MSM out there may have sulfas, sulfites and or sulfates. You must
be very careful with the quality or you start running into problems (IMHO).
What ever brand you look at, be sure that they are 100% pure MSM and use no
fillers, binders or additives. If you desire, I would be more than happy to
send you a small sample of 100% pure MSM to test for a reaction. Just private
email me at apothec...@home.com with your address and I'll get some out to you

Re: CS>What is best constant current?

2000-05-25 Thread Fred

Sorry to pick you out Steve, I never imagined someone would go over
500VDC for a 1-2 volt process. Constant current, as I said many times,
IS NOT A MAGIC BULLET! Limited CURRENT DENSITY is an essential
process refinement! The HVAC process you refer to, which is rather dumb
and even more dangerous, has been discussed before and found to be
of very questionable merit. I have many years of HV experience but have
never tried the process, based the low impedance level involved and my
electroplating experience. Absolutely no need for HV - has shades of 1930
when they searched for "magic" processes to produce Cs. Sintering, as
one producer describes his unit!

Search the archives and you will find one researcher who has found it to
contain many crystals of silver and oddball changes in pH. He has a web
site with photos, if you wish to see what you are making. I for one would
not let it pass by my lips! Pee YES, HV Cs NO.

f...@health2us.com
Fred and list,

In my case, I take exception to your statement below. I really do!! I
built a constant current generator which produces exactly the same constant
current from the starting instant to the end. At the moment, it is set for
1.67 ma., which produces approximately 5 PPM/hour. The starting voltage
can be over 500 volts, so it can handle very low conductivity distilled
water with no added electrolyte. The batch I brewed tonight started out at
about 180 volts and ended after two hours at around 15 volts, all at 1.67 ma.

I still don't know the optimum current to set my HVDC generator for. Is
there a lower threshold of current (x microamps?) where the energy level is
too low to "knock off" silver atoms from the electrode?

Re: CS> OT, can`t hear now

2000-05-25 Thread Fred

Keep the faith Marsha! I found a yeast infection that would not respond to Cs
a few months back - started as a cough, spread to throat (looked like strep
throat but no pain) and crawled up my Eustachian tube, for 3-4 week inner ear
infection. My stupid Doctor (guess I was stupid to go to one after keeping away
for 10 years) gave me antibiotics twice and that wiped my gut's flora out and
then the white spots started racing to the tip of my tongue and lips. 1% H2O2
gargle a few times a day stopped it but I had to take pro-biotics and eat
yellow

onions and pickles for the last month to gain control. (And I thought I never
got sick!)

Been raped twice in divorce, so wish you well, but the women usually win!

f...@health2us.com

Dear Listers, An update on my poor ear, if anyone cares... Monday I went to
an ENT who says my eardrum is intact, thank Goodness!! He cleaned out some
debris and put me on Cipro. Seems I may have an infection in the inner ear,
which has caused such a fluid buildup that it muffles my hearing. It pops
now when I yawn or swallow, but won`t clear.
At least no
one I love died!
Love,
Marsha

CS>Fw: Update on Dr. Hulda Clark

2000-05-25 Thread DK Nihoa
Dear Guest of www.drclark.net!

Today I would like to update you about Dr. Hulda Clark with an opinion
written by Tim Bolen* .

Sincerely
David P. Amrein, MBA
President, Dr. Clark Research Association

[*Tim Bolen is Dr. Hulda Clark's official spokesperson. He has brought
her on many radio and TV shows including the four part series about
Dr.
Hulda Clark currently airing on "Tony Brown's Journal".]

"THERE ARE RUMORS that Dr. Clark is, again, on the threshold of
important new discoveries. Frankly, I always hear these rumors. And
again, frankly, they are usually true.

If she's right about what she is currently investigating, and I think
she is, she's driving the final nail into the coffin of the North
American cancer chemo/radiation industry.

So, what is it that Clark is looking at? She won't let me tell you
until
she has verified, re-verified, and double re-verified what she's
doing.
But, I do know what she's looking at, and my response is "WOW!"

BLACK WALNUT SUPPLIES, in both tincture and freeze dried capsules, ARE
RUNNING LOW due to the overwhelming demand of NEW Clark supporters
coming aboard due to Dr. Clark's growing popularity, and her media
exposure. Black Walnut hulls fall from the tree only in the fall of
the
year. Production won't start again until September. [Get supplies at
http://www.drclark.net while supplies last.]

ALL SUPPLIES, AND BOOKS, USED BY DR. CLARK supporters could face a
shortage if the media coverage continues to expand as fast as it is
now
expanding. Waits, and Back Orders are becoming more, and more common
as
people from three continents are now increasing the overall demand.

HELP OTHERS, as someone helped you. Clark supporters seem to run to
only one kind of human - caring, concerned, thinking people. If
someone
you know needs help - help them where you can. If necessary - loan
them
YOUR copy of Dr. Clark's book until they can get their own. Or,
photocopy pages they need, and give them those. Dr. Clark won't
mind -
she wants people to be helped.

THE TONY BROWN SHOW, WITH DR. CLARK, IS SENSATIONAL!!!
If you haven't seen any of the series yet, don't worry, it'll re-run
for
a long time, or the entire four-part program will be available on tape
(find it at www.tonybrown.com).

Important - Please send a thank you note, via e-mail, to the New York
PBS host station "Program Director, WNED Channel 17" webt...@wned.org.
Please tell them what a wonderful thing they've done for Americans, by
letting them see Dr. Clark's work. Personal success stories using Dr.
Clark's protocol, would be appropriate.

YES, THE QUACKPOTS RAILED AT PBS, apparently, to try and stop Dr.
Clark
from being on television, but they had NO effect. Terry Polevoy, who
claims to run Canadian Quackwatch, apparently sent letters to PBS
stations around the country claiming he was a "respected" doctor and
...
(blah, blah, blah). Our contacts at PBS were not impressed with
Polevoy's nasty missive. They may have been influenced in their
decision(s) by Polevoy's anti-semitic ravings over Dr. Leonard
Horowitz
on the Canadian Quackwatch website?? -- which, of course, we pointed
out
to PBS...

I understand Dr. Horowitz, apparently horrified over Polevoy's
virulent
anti-Jewish attack, has filed a formal complaint with the Federal
Bureau
of Investigation's "Hate Crimes" unit. Polevoy, already has problems
with Canadian law authorities, over his
stalking(?) of popular Canadian radio personality Christine McPhee.
Polevoy, apparently followed McPhee for months, until McPhee, in fear
for her safety, called in police.

THANK YOU ALL, FOR SENDING INFORMATION ABOUT the so-called
"Quackbusters" - Stephan Barrett, John Renner, Wallace Sampson, Terry
Polevoy, et al. No bit of information is too small... Keep them
coming.

Two items we received this last month were particularly interesting:
(1) The March/April 2000 newsletter of the so-called National Council
for Reliable Health Information (NCRHI), formerly called NCAHF, with
what looks to be a libelous and defamatory article about Dr. Clark,
and
(2), a copy of a magazine (name withheld).

On item (1), John Renner, President of the so-called NCRHI newsletter,
has not responded to two requests for information about the article's
author, etc.

On item (2), the (name withheld) magazine could just be a clue to how,
and who, is funding Barrett, et al. The issue we received was 54 pages
long with about 46 pages of advertising. The frontispiece shows the
"Editorial Board" with the top name - Stephan Barrett - Board
Chairman,
Quackwatch, Inc. Right below is Renner's name as President of the
NCRHI.

What's REALLY interesting about finding Barrett and Renner's names in
the magazine, is not so much the page THEY appear on - but the facing
page - a full page advertising for a major FOREIGN DRUG CARTEL. It
appears there are about 46 pages of advertising - 46 ads at an
average
$20,000 charge per issue, could generate $920,000 per issue, in
advertising income. If this is a month

Just curious - have there been research on what concentration of CS is

filled both ears with saline solution and held it with cotton balls and then
zapped with Clarks zapper. I wetted a Q-tip with Hydrogen Peroxide and there
was no crackling and popping sounds. If there is an infection I can hear the

I ordered some silver to try the + lead under my tongue to see if it helps my

I have an LLLT 904 nm 2 watts since the early 80's. A Dr. friend used one

CHEMTRAILS - Did An Airline Mechanic Stumble Upon The Truth? (5-17-00)
(Note - We cannot confirm the following statement but the implications are
enormous, and we expect there will be serious efforts to investigate and
evaluate these allegations quickly. -ed.)
For reasons you will understand as you read this I can not divulge my
identity. I am an aircraft mechanic for a major airline. I work at one of
our maintenance bases located at a large airport. I have discovered some
information that I think you will find important.
First I should tell you something about the "pecking order" among mechanics.
It is important to my story and to the cause to which you have dedicated
yourself.
Mechanics want to work on three things. The avionics, the engines, or the
flight controls. The mechanics that work on these systems are considered at
the top of the "pecking order". Next come the mechanics that work on the
hydraulics and air conditioning systems. Then come the ones who work on the
galley and other non-essential systems. But at the very bottom of the list
are the mechanics that work on the waste disposal systems. No mechanic wants
to work on the pumps, tanks, and pipes that are used to store the waste from
the lavatories.
But at every airport where I have worked there are always 2 or 3 mechanics
that volunteer to work on the lavatory systems. The other mechanics are
happy to let them do it. Because of this you will have only 2 or 3 mechanics
that work on these systems at any one airport. No one pays much attention to
these guys and no mechanic socializes with another mechanic who only works
on the waste systems. In fact I had never thought much about this situation
until last month.
Like most airlines we have reciprocal agreements with the other airlines
that fly into this airport. If they have a problem with a plane one of our
mechanics will take care of it. Likewise if one of our planes has a problem
at an airport where the other airline has a maintenance base, they will fix
our plane.
One day last month I was called out from our base to work on a plane for
another airline. When I got the call the dispatcher did not know what the
problem was. When I got to the plane I found out that the problem was in
waste disposal system. There was nothing for me to do but to crawl in and
fix the problem. When I got into the bay I realized that something was not
right. There were more tanks, pumps, and pipes then should have been there.
At first I assumed that the system had been changed. It had been 10 years
since I had worked on one. As I tried to find the problem I quickly realized
the extra piping and tanks were not connected to the waste disposal system.
I had just discovered this when another mechanic from my company showed up.
It was one of the mechanics who usually works on these systems. I happily
turned the job over to him. As I was leaving I asked him about the extra
equipment. He told me to "worry about my end of the plane and let him worry
about his!"
The next day I was on the company computer to look up a wiring schematic.
While I was there I decided to look up the extra equipment I had found. To
my amazement the manuals did not show any of the extra equipment I had seen
with my own eyes the day before. I even tied in to the manufacturer files
and still found nothing. Now I was really determined to find out what that
equipment did.
The next week we had three of our planes in our main hanger for periodic
inspection. There are mechanics crawling all over a plane during these
inspections. I had just finished my shift and I decided to have a look at
the waste system on one of our planes. With all the mechanics around I
figured that no one would notice an extra one on the plane. Sure enough, the
plane I choose had the extra equipment!
I began to trace the system of pipes, pumps, and tanks. I found what
appeared to be the control unit for the system. It was a standard looking
avionics control box but it had no markings of any kind. I could trace the
control wires from the box to the pumps and valves but there were no control
circuits coming into the unit. The only wires coming into the unit was a
power connection to the aircraft's main power bus.
The system had 1 large and 2 smaller tanks. It was hard to tell in the
cramped compartment but it looked like the large tank could hold 50 gallons.
The tanks were connected to a fill and drain valve that passed through the
fuselage just behind the drain valve for the waste system. When I had a
chance to look for this connection under the plane I found it cunningly
hidden behind a panel under the panel used to access the waste drain.
I began to trace the piping from the pumps. These pipes lead to a network of
small pipes that ended in the trailing edges of the wings and horizontal
stabilizers. If you look c

MSM can cause those symptoms when you start taking it. It detoxes you...gets
toxins out and you feel those symptoms as it does that. Also, it is sulfu
and when I looke dthat up in my Perscription for Nutritional Healing it says
sulfur is antibacterial and antiviral so you also may be experiencing
herxing/"die off" of viruses and/or bacteria.

You can reduce the dose for a while and this should decrease. Keep drinking
lots of water. I would take this as a good sign that its working.

I went to bed
early, tossed and turned all night (my husband said I was even moaning when
I
was asleep). I felt as if I had the flu. This morning I am feeling better
after LOTS of water to flush it out of my system.
Many years ago, enough so that I had totally forgotten (until last
night)
I had some sulfur prescribed for something or other. I had a reaction to it
 then too...feverish flu like symtoms.
 Any thoughts? Thanks.
 Love, Kathy >>

You may have some with some impurities in it. We have bought 4 different
brands
of MSM and one of them makes my wife sick. They are all suppose to be pure,
but
I suspect that one has some leftover solvents in it or something.

Those are exactly the same symptoms my wife gets on that particular brand.

You are likely referring to a sulfa drug. Entirely different animal.

Dear Fred,
This may be yeast, as my Pug has a yeast thing in HIS ears right now,
probably infected myself from him after not washing hands well enough. I had
no cough, this began as a zit sort of thing in my ear.
What do onions and pickles do??

If I am going to use Silver "properly" to treat my Lyme- the right dosage

Just curious - have there been research on what concentration of CS is
