RE: CSGreen wine bottle OK for CS?

2005-01-10 Thread Ode Coyote
If your CS was made using nothing but distilled water and silver, there's
nothing in there that is photo reactive.
You can sit it in the sunlight in clear glass and it won't change.
The particulates in EIS [CS] refract light differently than the lack of
particles in distilled water when in the same plastic container. The
translucency of the container itself plays a role in the dark appearance.
CS will look darker than distilled water when in a distilled water jug.
It may darken further as more particles form in very fresh stabilizing CS.
Sometimes contaminants in that plastic can react with CS and make it go
yellow or brown that don't react with the distilled water. Rare but not
unheard of.
Plastic is more permeable than glass and can absorb contaminants more
easily, but even glass can as well.
Ever try to get the smell of stale beer out of a beer bottle?

I've had contaminated glass instantly flash a month old batch of CS to
muddy brown even after washing and rinsing it with distilled water
multiple times. [Rare, but not unheard of]
There's no telling what has impregated an old 'chemical soup' wine bottle.
[If it works, it works]
Old gin and vodka bottles seem to be OK.

CSWater purification with CS

2005-01-10 Thread Matthew McCann
Hi, AlchemySA,

Contaminated water is not a suitable medium for the
electrolysis of silver into CS/EIS. An EIS generator
needs distilled water, which is obviously already
decontaminated. The essential issue is availability and
cost of distilled water. I pay $1.50 for a gallon of
DW at the drugstore. I can make it at home for about
$0.35 per gallon, using a $99 electric distiller. That cost
could could be reduced by pre-heating in a suitable
tea-kettle (e.g. a cast iron japanese tetsubin) over a fire
using a free fuel. But if I am going to pre-heat the water,
I might as well go the extra step and bring it to a boil,
thus sterilizing it.

It is often said that CS can be made for pennies per
gallon. This is misleading. The chief cost of LVDC
EIS is in the DW. In the long run, it is less expensive
to decontaminate water by other means than to turn it
into high quality DW. When ordinary methods of
decontamination are lacking (due to disaster or
remoteness) a sterilizer/filter like the Katadyn can
treat enough water for one or a small number of
people for less than the cost of distillation.

Water purification by treating it with a CS additive is a
different story, however. You can't expect CS to remove
or kill the larger parasites, for example, or to desalinate
brackish water.

The problem of purifying water is vast topic. It usually
requires an engineering solution suited to the
circumstances.

Best regards,

Matthew

Ok, this would explain why my last two batches turned out so nice.
I used sterile glass qrt jars with excellent grade distilled water from
a reputable distilling company. Along with the help of Ode's machine :-)

Many thanks Ode.

CSxylitol and CS

2005-01-10 Thread bbanever
Ian - I have been using a similar mixture of CS and xylitol for a few years. I
irrigate my sinus cavity with this once or twice a week... I haven't had a cold
in three years now. Xylitol coats the cells with a protective barrier so
bacteria and virus can't break into the cells and get washed out with mucous.
Irrigating with silver and xylitol works great. In a pinch, I just put half a
dropper full of 10ppm EIS in each nostril lying on my back and let that sit for
a few minutes also.

I just noticed that the acidopholas pills I have are gelatin. Gelatin
dissolves in the stomach, where I would expect the culture to get killed. It
seems to me that any probiotics should use a hard shell coating that does not
break down in the stomach so the live culture can make it to the intestines.

Are all probiotics using gelatin capsules? This somehow does not make sense to
me.

RE: CSProbiotics

2005-01-10 Thread Louise
You need to take probiotics when you are not eating meat.

For dog a fermented salad is great way of doing this.

The fermented pulped salad is made (mostly with leafy greens) adding
probiotics (human grade and non dairy) to establish the good bacteria in the
intestines. The human grade digestive enzymes are also added (need one with
cellulase and amylase at least) are added to the pulped salad and keep the
mix at BODY temperature for at least 15 minutes before feeding, wait at
least 2 hours after this salad mix before feeding meaty bones for the best
results.

This salad helps diarrhea problems as well as constipation, boost the immune
system and gives extra b vitamins to boot :o It helps to repair the
intestines by establishing good bacteria that prefers raw food and leafy
greens.

You first pulp the veggies (chop up some romaine lettuce so it is easier to
process, some freeze it first to smash into very tiny pieced in the bag
after it is frozen) some add a little water for processing) it should look
like baby food when done. For sick animals make it mostly leafy greens and
low starchy veggies. You can freeze this mush and then continue the rest of
the procedure when you need some more fermented veggies.

With the thawed mixture or the freshly made one you add some probiotics
human grade (non dairy type) always sold in the fridge of pharmacy or health
food store. add one capsule or digestive enzymes (like UDO's digestive
blend human type, though if you read the labels you will find similar types
for less money) but they should have the basics of Cellulase and Amylase.
(for dogs and cats about 10 pounds or less use 1/4 capsule of each)

Best with a sick dog to add to his food as well and so they should also have
Lipase and Protease. I share my digestive enzymes with my dog so I make
sure that is also has Lactase as I have problems with milk digestion (but if
the mix you get does not have this it is still good for the dog)

I do not like the dog types because they often add stuff and some use the
poorest quality and the probiotics often are not alive. Some are a joke and
if you read the label are often are just prebiotics and sold on a shelf so
no live ones left (The ones I have seen are a waste of money IMO or not as
beneficial as getting the human grade varieties)

Some use this salad instead of a fast day when feeding a raw meaty bone
diet.
