Hi Angel. I added the colloidal copper because it is suppose to increase collagen production in the skin. Im not sure what is in the polymer, TriethanolAmine is an alkanolamine and is classed as such. It is used as a pH adjuster and emulsifying surfactant as well as a fragrance ingredient and is also known as TEA and Trolamine. Triethanolamine is used as a pH balancer in a variety of different cosmetic products - ranging from skin lotion, eye gels, moisturizers, shampoos, shaving foams etc. As to your prevous post about using gelatin ,some gelatin is obtained by boiling the skin, tendons, and ligaments of animals, mostly cows. If it doesnt say vegetarian or derived from fish its made from dead boiled animal parts, dont know it thats considered natural or not. CSCS Gel Making. Why?
I've made gel with just CS and Xanthan Gum. Xanthan Gum is cheap and its supposed to be very safe. (Its also used as an ingredient in gluten free foods foods I think). A 100 g packet from the health food store is about $7 Australian. I estimate thats enough to make about a gallon of gel. But I suggest you just make what you can use in a reasonable time. I sat an open jar of Gel made with plain water and X-gum on a window ledge outside and it started to develop mold spots after about 10 days. A jar made with CS and X-gum took about 20 days to go spotty. I also made up a jar using CS , X-gum, MSM, and a couple of drops of Old Spice After Shave. This has been kept inside and only opened a couple of times of day. So far its shown no sign of mold after about 6 weeks. I'm not sure if its the MSM, the closed jar, or the after-shave thats providing the mold prevention. My partner is using this on her dry elbows. (There's no real logic behind this at all.) Its not real pretty to look at (the gel I mean) because I made it with extra strong CS that's very light sensitive so it's gone a bit of a grey color. Then again, to make it a pretty color it would probably need even more ingredients of dubious merit. I'm sure pure CS sprayed straight onto the skin would normally be more effective than a gel, but a gel is less messy sometimes and has a certain psychological appeal. If you search this list you'll find a recipe for CS Gel using Xanthan, but it has other ingredents that I dont understand and I figure the fewer the ingredients the better. As for applying CS gels to wounds, I have some issues with this. The CS is not a concern, but what about the other ingredients in commercial and home-made gels? The gels feel nice but are the extra ingredients going to help or hinder the healing? I assume the silver particles (or oxides) would be bound in the gel until they are absorbed through the skin, but what happens to the silver ions in a gel? Mike, that's the best I've heard it said to date. Can I use that? Ode Dosing is not a science. The key word is enough. If you've used CS before, then you already know that you're not allergic to it, therefore you don't have to start with the few drops on the tongue that I suggest to new users, just in case. Beyond that, it would be good if we knew what kind of CS you've got. If store-bought, which brand and what supposed strenght? If home made, what kind of generator and how brewed. The usual advice is to start small and ramp up the dose until you have the effect you want. This is measured by either the symptoms improving or by the symptoms worsening (temporarily) in a Herxheimer reaction. In general, flu-like symptoms and a general yucky feeling mark the Herxheimer reaction. In severe cases Herx reactions can be life threatening, particularly in people who are already weakened. If there is a bad infection that is destroyed very rapidly by the treatment it can overwhelm the body, leading to a shock reaction that could require emergency treatment. Thus the caution to start small and ramp up until some effect is noted, then hold at that level until effects subside. When that happens, ramp up the dose further until effects resume, but remain manageable, and so on. Keep at it a few days longer if all seems to be well, just to be sure... So what sort of dose might you want to work up to? First, I will *assume* an average CS brew of some 5 to 20 ppm in plain distilled water made with a simple generator. For a very aggressive treatment, some of our members have reported good results taking a good mouthful (very precise measurement unit there!), swished around in your mouth for at least a couple of minutes before swallowing, taken every waking half hour to an hour. To start slowly, just to be cautious of any severe Herx, I would probably wait a couple of hours between swallows at first. One other thing is to consider adding Gatorade to the protocol. If you search the archives on that subject, you'll see that it is used to *drastically* increase the rate at which the CS enters the bloodstream. Lastly, I want to say that, if push comes to shove, going to the doctor for antibiotics is not out of the question. I doubt it will be needed, but if your self-treatment is not effective within a reasonable time, the conventional alternative will serve as a safety net. Not without side effects, true, but safer than no treatment. You must judge the risks and only you are responsible for the consequences of your health-care decisions. Don't take my suggestions as a substitute for your own judgement or that of your professional advisors. Let us know how you do, please? Be well, Mike D. From what I've read Candida does extensive damage; both physically and mentally and is usually mistaken as something else. When I approached the VA Doctors they had no clue. I confused as how one would apply C.S. internally as the comment make it sound like it needs to be rubbed into the skin.The red beet idea shoulds great as I love beets yet I'm unsure as to how this will eradicate the candida. CSSilver electrode pollution reasons
Hi all of you, I want to open the question of the electrode pollution during the electrolytic process. I find that this phenomenon can be result of the DW impurity contents. I use to make CS in sequence of five to twelve batches en bloc, using very, very pure DW, with conductance about 0.01 microsiemens (). I always have to clean the electrodes at the end of every batch (47 minutes). BUT: later - as the batches are followed one by one and as the apparatus cleans up from impurities (what other condition can cause smaller and smaller electrode pollution during almost continual electrolytic process?), the electrode pollution appears later and later and very, very much slighter. After some four or five batches electrodes remain almost unchanged in color after every more batch. Since I realized this relation, I get rinse all the apparatus inside by DW prior starting the first batch. Since then I obtain very good results, the electrode pollution of the first batches seems to be really greatly affected by this act. And once I made some measurement of the input and output DW conductance, understand: without electrolysis, just measuring the conductance value in front of the apparatus ...and then taking the outlet DW conductance value. This measurement was made after some longer pause when the apparatus was left out of work for several weeks, but tightly closed (). First of all, what a surprise, when I measured some 2,4 microsiemens in the outgoing DW. This value fall back to 0,01microsiemens after a fairly period - when content of the apparatus changed completely several times. This phenomenon maybe also caused by silver electrode impurities. As I use 99.99 silver as standard, I did not examine the possible influence of silver impurities to their pollution, beyond it is absolutely impossible to get true 99.999 silver. Maybe some reliable results can be obtained to compare 99.99 silver with some impure, e.g. sovereign silver electrodes. A number of ways have been proposed for increasing the ppm of EIS. Re-electrolysis following a stabilization period (of about a day or so) seems to be a well-established method now. Removal of water has been proposed, but there are drawbacks to this. Evaporation at high temperature, i.e. above about 120 degrees Fahrenheit, tends to cause agglomeration of silver sediments. Evaporation at low pressure, i.e. vacuum condensation, requires elaborate equipment. Evaporation followed by condensation on a cold surface would seem to require elaborate refrigerating equipment, too. Or does it? As the 4th of July approaches, many of us will prepare cold drinks and preserve perishables using disposable styrofoam ice chests with high-capacity heat sinks such as Rubbermaid Blue Ice instead of regular water ice. Such styrofoam ice chests can cost about two dollars and hold about two gallons. The high-capacity heat sinks are re-useable indefinitely. Just put them back in the kitchen freezer. Suppose such an ice chest were perforated in the center of its bottom with a neat hole just wide enough to pass a bottle stem with a fluted profile (i.e. a typical large wine bottle.) EIS could be put in the bottle, and the bottle on a low-watt heat source such as is used for thermal stirring. The perforated ice chest could be pressed down on the stem of the bottle, forming a seal. If the ice chest were supported at its ends properly, frozen heat sinks (like Rubbermaid Blue Ice) could be placed in the chest, and the lid put on top This apparatus should draw moisture out of the EIS, increasing the ppm without agglomerating the silver. It might take a lot of time, but could run safely overnight. It would cost much less than a specially adapted refrigerator. It might be worth the extra and effort for some EIS applications such as nebulization. In any case, have a great July 4th! Matthew

I thought the stuff on the electrodes was silver oxide, from the oxygen relased by the electrolysis. It isn`t?? This measurement was made after some longer pause when the apparatus was left out of work for several weeks, but tightly closed (). First of all, what a surprise, when I measured some 2,4 microsiemens in the outgoing DW. This value fall back to 0,01microsiemens after a fairly period - when content of the apparatus changed completely several times. This phenomenon maybe also caused by silver electrode impurities. As I use 99.99 silver as standard, I did not examine the possible influence of silver impurities to their pollution, beyond it is absolutely impossible to get true 99.999 silver. Maybe some reliable results can be obtained to compare 99.99 silver with some impure, e.g. sovereign silver electrodes.
