CS>Cayenne pepper

2005-11-14 Thread oldgl...@bigcountry.net
Hi Bil,

I once had a Rat Terrier who had been run over, maybe by the tractor (he had
a great fear of a cloud and would seek me out), or maybe by someone driving
down the road. Anyway, I found him sitting by the back door one night with
such an odd expression that I bent over to pet him. When I did, he fell
over, as stiff as a board. I carried him inside and found him bleeding from
every orifice. Aware of cayenne pepper at that time and it's ability to
stop bleeding (causes regulation of blood pressure so as to not bleed out),
I made a hot dose of cayenne tincture, or about as much cayenne as possible
in two cc of water. I drenched my dog in the side of his mouth for he had
clenched teeth. I then heavily stroked his throat to get him to swallow,
which he did. No reaction at all to the cayenne tincture which had to be
like fire. It was a case of life or death in my opinion. I then rushed him
to the vet who kept him for a week before allowing him to come home, then he
spent about two more weeks hobbling around. He was perfectly fine after
that and there is no doubt in my mind but what the cayenne tincture saved
his life.

2005-11-14 Thread andy andraschko
Hi to all,
My name is Andy Andraschko and I am a new member (silent so far) of this
group, I am listening and learning. Very interesting comments and ideas. I
am using and producing it for the best part of 2 years now and have never
been sick since (usually twice a year colds and flu). I also make colloidal
copper what has also fantastic results with sore, inflamed joints and even
restoring cartilage damage to a certain extent.
Recently a friend of mine approached me with the question of treating HIV
with CS, maybe someone in this group has first hand experience with results
and dosages for treatment (orally).
I would also like to ask the members of this group if anybody has any
experience with colloidal gold (using and making) it. I am trying for some
time now to get plans to build a colloidal gold maker to no avail, it seems
a very closely guarded secret.
As I am residing in South Africa where is little available in the line of
colloidal's I have to make a plan for myself.
Greetings
Andy

  Hi guys:

I don't understand any of this technical stuff, but have been making CS for
years with my home-made kit--three 9-V batteries snapped together, alligator
clips connecting the free leads of the batteries to silver wires, and putting
the wires in a glass measuring jar of tap water. Depending on the hardness of
the water, the water turns ever so slightly gray in 30 seconds to three
minutes, and there you have it! The "apparatus" keeps nicely in a sandwhich
bag. No rocket science here!

I had the same vision, and looked into alternative building materials--Rastra
block (cement that is poured into foam molds, with rebar inside--great to cut
heating and cooling costs), hay bale house (cheap, with the feel of adobe, but
beware of rats and mold if not done right), underground house (do this right or
you'll have problems similar to those in a basement).

I ended up doing standard but beefed up construction--4 X 6 wood, with
plywood covering inside and out, roof tiles nailed down, roof bolted to walls,
walls bolted to foundation--the same requirements as for hospitals and schools.
We have our own well, our own solar power (partial only, as it is still
expensive, even with a government-supported rebate).

The hay bale idea sounded great, but I live in earthquake country. Rastra
was too expensive, and too difficult to make changes in electrical wiring once
it is up. With R-19 insulation in the 4 X 6 walls, though, we rarely use air
conditioning or heating (except for wood burning and pellet stoves). Also,
dual pane window glass, with gas inside, cuts down on heating and air
conditioning costs, as do appropriate window coverings.

Don't underestimate the difficulty of getting anything unusual OK'd by the
planning department, unless you are planning to build without a permit. Also,
if you do anything out of the ordinary, you may have to do it yourself, as it
is hard to find someone to do anything but the usual standard stuff.

  Jill

P.S. It turned out WONDERFULLY, but what an undertaking! I would only have
energy for this sort of effort once in a lifetime, though.

Heart Plus: Supports Health Cholesterol Levels Too!

Linus Pauling, two-time Nobel laureate and Ph.D., had a few words when
it came to cholesterol and heart disease.

As you may remember from Mike Ciell’s paper * “One Pharmacist’s View of
Coronary Heart Disease,”
*
Mike compares Pauling’s “Unified Theory” with the cholesterol-fixated
“Lipid Theory.” Pauling, in conjunction with Dr. Matthias Rath,
suggested that plaque (sticky cholesterol) does not form randomly in the
bloodstream.

Pauling and Rath proposed that nutritional deficiency was the cause for
stress, tears and cracks in human blood vessels and this deficiency
makes way for plaque to come to the rescue.

Pauling and Rath identified three deficient nutrients: vitamin C,
L-lysine, and L-proline. They found that these critical nutrients could
actually heal blood vessels, improve blood flow, and reduce cholesterol
plaques (blockages). Not a small feat for a relatively cheap combo of
these totally awesome nutrients!

And, our *Heart Plus *
provides /all three/ of these important nutrients in one handy formula.
No wonder Heart Plus is consistently in our * “Top Ten” list
*.

and read mike ciell's paper. good info,,, jim

I make, sell and take a good quality CS (1 part + 2 parts Gatorade--as
electrotyte to take the CS deeper into tissues than CS can go alone); and
also recommend to everyone that they add BECK (or other) zapper to your

Do most of you folk NOT take the flu vaccine due to your healthy
distrust of poison in the needles, or the more positive take that Silver and
other methods will protect? I am interested in the various points of view.

I myself have always distrusted vaccines, but evaluate continually
i.e. I have Hep C. It is strongly recommended to get the antibodies to Hep
A and B because a case of either could sink the liver. So I tried the Hep A
and B series and my body did not make the antibodies. So now I am retaking
the shots, but by a "travel dr" or immunologist, who uses a subdermal (as
opposed to intermuscular) technique that may help stimulate the antibodies.
I generally would rather not, but the risk scenario seemed OK...but then
again, I do not know that much about this situation.

Does anyone know what a neg response to the Hep A and B vaccines
means? The Dr's just shrug, but state that the response rate normally is in
the 99% range (have heard different).

I still make my silver and loyally take it as one of the tools to keep
me healthy. (I am sure my quality and potency could be better) But my viral
loads have remained steady, much to my dismay. I would love, obviously, a
total clearance. Any new info on Hep C approaches? I haven't asked here in
a while. The good news is that my liver is pretty healthy (never abused to
a great degree and protect w Milk Thistle), and recent tests show normal
liver enzymes for the first time in a decade. So I have this sense that I
am holding strong, but the virus remains in an immune system sensitive
state. As such, I feel vulnerable to a twist of fate that would lead to a
viral explosion.

Thanks for any and all considered responses.

CS>Re: CS Maker for Emergencies

2005-11-14 Thread Dan Nave
Using my "Rule of Thumb for CS Calculations" we know that you can get
about a maximum of 17ppm of silver in 1 cup of water at 1ma for 1 hour.

That is, 17ppm max in an hour (under these conditions). I assume that
there is sufficient conduction to reach saturation at 1ma immediately.

17ppm divided by 60minutes = .28ppm per minute (approximately)

.28ppm per minute times 3 minutes = .84ppm (approx)

.28ppm per minute times 5 minutes = 1.4ppm (approx)

This amount of silver does not seem excessive. In fact, it is
surprising that such a small an amount is so effective.

I have been thinking about an "Emergency CS Maker" for use in...
emergencies, of course. Such as the Tsunami disaster. Such as the
Katrina hurricane disaster. Such as the Kashmiri earthquake disaster.
The Katrina and Tsunami "emergency" is pretty much over by now, a CS
maker would still be useful but it might have been a life saver
immediately after the crisis. In Kashmir the disaster is going to keep
on going and going; many will die over the winter.

I envision something extremely simple and used in a manner such as that
described by Tony. The device would be hand held, something to snap a
9V battery into and two leads, one silver and one copper. If two
dissimilar metals are to be used, the silver wire should be permanently
connected to the positive pole of the battery (not removable).

If no current limiting is used the device could be used by immersing the
electrodes in a cup or glass of water and stirring for about a minute.
Perhaps some testing would show what is a practical time for a range of
water types. Remember, this would be emergency use.

(If current limiting is desired, perhaps resistor limiting would be
practical. Again, some real world testing may show a practical range of
use...)

I have found a 9V battery connector at Digikey P/N 968K-ND listed at
$.445 per connector. Look it up on . picture at:

http://rocky.digikey.com/WebLib/Keystone%20Electronics/Web%20Photos/968.jpg

This connector has a post coming out the back of each connection. The
wires could be soldered on using a non-lead plumbing solder and the
joint covered with a length of shrink tubing, the kind that has
waterproofing goop on the inside. For cheapest cost, use 14 gage wires.

The problem would really be getting them to people and then getting them
to understand how to use them...

Dear Silver Listers
I would like to know exactly what sort of danger anyone could possibly
get into by making CS with ordinary water and using that?

I have been making CS with 9vdc from a battery and with current control
to 1mA for many years . I use whatever the drinking water is out of the
tap. 3 to 5 minutes per 8oz glassful. It works. Cures upset tummies in
minutes. Stops a cold in its tracks if taken soon enough. Stops BO for
many hours. Soothes insect bites and thorn scratches. Disinfects wounds.
Great for flushing mould and dirt from sinuses etc etc.

I really would like to know the specific dangers that might be
practically applicable.

*.

Re: CS>What to do about a broken toe?

2005-11-14 Thread Wayne Fugitt

Evening Linda,

Likely there are 10,000 treatments, most of them good. Finding the few
that you can implement is the hard part.

If you had some genuine Dr. Christopher black salve, it would help, I feel
sure.

When I had the spider bite, I continued to work most days. Due to the
swelling in the leg, I would up with an inflamed ligament.

Not sure of the name of it, but it is the large tendon from the back of the
heel to the calf muscle. This got really sore. I walked on crutches one day.

Still being hard headed, I went to work most days.

A good friend send to me some black salve made by a Dr. Christopher recipe.
I would take this to the job site, remove the shoe and sock, and rub the
tendon with this salve. Yes, it would quit hurting and I could continue
working.

The recipes are hard to find on the web. I have this recipe someplace on
my computer.

Other recipes may be as good or better.

Likely the toe will be well before you could get all the ingredients
together and make the salve. You could make it for the next broken toe or
an inflamed ligament.

CS>Concentration of CS Rule of Thumb

2005-11-14 Thread Dan Nave

If my math is right, here is a rule of thumb that you can
use for approximating the maximum concentration of CS when
you make it...

"The maximum concentration for 1 cup of CS made at 1
milliamp for one hour would be approximately 17ppm."

Reasoning:

Each Coulomb of electricity will deposit .001118 grams of
silver into solution. A Coulomb is 1 ampersecond.

For example, 1 cup of water is 227 grams. Run it for 1 hour
at 1 milliamp.

Find the number of seconds:
1 hour = 60 seconds/minute x 60 minutes = 3600 seconds

Find the number of Coulombs:
.001 amps x 3600 seconds = 3.6 ampseconds = 3.6 Coulombs

Find the amount of silver released:
3.6 columns x .001118 grams/coulomb = .00402 grams of silver
released into solution

Find the ratio or water to silver:
227 grams of water / .00402 grams of silver = 56467 / 1

Find the parts per million:
1,000,000 / 56467 = 17ppm

So, the rule of thumb would be:

"The maximum concentration for 1 cup of CS made at 1
milliamp for one hour would be 17ppm."

This assumes that the current is at 1 ma from start to
finish of the hour. (If it took 1 hour for the current to
go from zero to 1 ma then the concentration would be
approximately half (8.5ppm) for that hour, assuming that the
current increase is reasonably linear at this stage.)

These values are approximate and indicate the *maximum*
concentration you can get. Your effective CS concentration
will be somewhat less.

Using this value you can quickly get a rough estimate of
your (max) CS concentration by figuring out the number of
cups in your jar, the run time in hours, and the current in
milliamps.

2005-11-14 Thread Dan Nave
Try alternating hot and cold water soaks. Works better than hot soaks
alone and speeds up healing. If hot water is causing swelling, you can
use alternating cold and warm soaks or cold and room temp alternations.
Put ice onto one bucket and hot water in another and alternate foot.
Just don't get it hot enough to burn the skin though, pay attention.
You don't need to actually freeze it either ;-)). Do it several times a
day.

(Experimental) Fill a container with CS. Put the whole toe or foot in
it. Connect a silver electrode to the POSITIVE output of the zapper and
put the electrode in the container of CS (in the water). Hold the
negative electrode in one hand or put it on the leg somewhere above the
injured part. Zapp the CS into the toe in this fashion.

I want to make him more comfortable, and try to get the swelling down

I've also had him pulsing with Bil's MP5K, and using footbaths with

Does anybody else out there have any ideas? We'll try it all

Remember, folks: Civility is still required on the OT list, even when
discussing controversial topics. Thicken your skin so you won't take
offense when none is meant, be gentle in what you say and how you say
it. Treat others as friends there, as they are here.

Oh, and don't really expect to change too many minds!!

If you have two differnt types of metal in your mouth this is most likely
happennig for sure. two diffrent types of metal will form a weak battery and
then electrolysis will be set up and the one metal will slowly start to

Just thought I'd point out that Marshall is demonstrating why it is a
*really* good idea to hold off sending your replies until you've caught

some of them at all.

Do that and you'll avoid resurrecting topics that have been moved or

otherwise duplicating the efforts of others.

This is *especially* true if there's a problem the list owner should be
dealing with. It may already have been handled and you'll be stirring
it up again by replying to a closed thread, objecting to a behavior
issue, etc...

Remember, I don't pre-screen posts to the list. You send it, it goes
out to 600-plus people. I moderate the list after the fact, serving
more as host and gatekeeper -- the one who decides who stays and who
goes.

Thanks!

CS>Off Topic List -- too quiet!

2005-11-14 Thread M. G. Devour
Volume on the Off Topic List is sporadic. Since it was discussed here
yesterday, only a couple people have posted tentative messages
wondering where everybody is!

So, just post those OT topics to silver-off-topic-l...@eskimo.com and
see who answers!

I'll be listening.

Be well,

How To Build Your Own Log Home For Less Than $15,000 Author Robert L.
Williams and his family built a 4,300 square foot house with no previous

in 36 detailed chapters; you'll learn the essentials of chainsawing and
squaring logs, building foundations, constructing walls and rooftops,
installing floors, windows and doors, wiring and plumbing, and much
more. Williams' engaging, easy-to-follow text is accompanied by numerous
photographs and illustrations to guide you every step of the way. 216

Living smack in the middle of tree farming/logging country, I
estimated
that I could have bought enough logs, cut and delivered, to build this
small house for $3,000.

I just couldn't figure out how to handle the tonnage by myself.

CS>Re: Re: CS>What to do about a broken toe?

2005-11-14 Thread laquerencia

Hi Linda,

You may know this already but *ideally* your hubby should have gotten off his
feet immediately, elevated the injury above the level of his heart, iced it
plus apply the cs/dmso. And of couse stay off it as much as possible.

When I broke a bone in my foot a few years back, dmso was unknown to me
unfortunately but doing all the rest plus using crutches for 3 weeks helped me
avoid any other treatment. However I think there'll probably be some arthritic
tendency in that foot as I age because I started walking on it a little too
soon.

More recently I twisted an ankle quite severely but managed to get a dmso/cs
soaked bandage onto it immediately and elevated it til bedtime. Next day I did
yard work all day, climbing ladders etc. with no problems--still astonished at
that one. Some brusing did finally appear--from deep inside the connective
tissue I believe (it took that about 3 months to disappear and may have
resulted from being on my feet so much right away) and there was some
tenderness around the ankle upon palpation for several weeks but never any pain
while on my feet.

My nurse practitioner mother was amazed, now uses it herself and suggests it to
others.

take care,
Deborah

Well, we know about elevating it, but he did this just as he was getting out of
the shower and we were on our way to a party! So, it was about six hours, but
he did spend all day Sunday babying the foot.

He already has evidence of arthritis, and I've been after him to try some
things to see if we can head that off at the pass, but he hasn't been
motivated, so I'm sneaking that stuff in on him now, as part of the treatment
for the broken toe.

Please use common sense first and foremost. Sometimes a doctors visit is
necessary to keep a simple matter from becoming more serious and complicated.
If the toe needs to be reset, it needs to be reset to remain functionaly and
to avoid a future deformity. I have seen fingers that were not property set,

Argryia? You must be making compounds, so what you are making may not be
optimally effective, but it is still effective enough for your
purposes. But if you are only making 8 oz at a time, I'd guess you are
not drinking quantities of it daily, and are probably not even
taking/using any of it every single day? What you are making isn't
something I'd drink a pint of daily.

I have some longstanding issues, most likely viral, that I'm trying to
clear, and I do take around a pint of EIS daily, plus use it for misting
eyes and hands, nose drops, eye drops, nebulizing pets, in pet drinking
water, and so forth, so I need my EIS to be as pure as I can possibly
get it. For emergency use though, I'd certainly use tap water, if that
was all I had.

8oz glassful. It works. Cures upset tummies in minutes. Stops a cold in its tracks if
taken soon enough. Stops BO for many hours. Soothes insect bites and thorn
scratches. Disinfects wounds. Great for flushing mould and dirt from sinuses etc etc.

Swelling causes negative pressure on the wound which in turn tells the body
to congregate immune factors to the area. If you take the swelling down you
are telling your body it's own immune factors are not necessary in that area.

I understand Bromelaine found in pineapple digests the swelling as needed

CS>scavenger diet

2005-11-14 Thread Terry Chamberlin
Marshall said,
>Can you clarify this a bit. So animals that eat live
animals are ok, right? What about animals that will
eat dead animals, but are not feed dead animals, like
pigs that are corn fed? Does it have to do with what
they actually eat, or what they are willing to eat if
available, that is their actual diet, or their
metabolism?<

Reams said that pork and other scavenger animals had
specific metabolic/molecular frequencies that were not
compatible with man's. If you don't feed these animals
their natural diet (as is the case with every
commercially-raised animal), they are still what they
are, and would, if allowed, revert back to their
natural scavenger diets.

Reams speculated that their particular frequency might
be related to their ability to safely metabolize a
scavenger diet.

I've always been told you ice such an injury the first 24-48 hours at

I know of a family who built a straw bale house. Never did hear how they
liked it. Lot of info online I think.
I have heard of bamboo blinds from china with termites in them, but that
was 40 years ago at least. Most things might be already fumigated these
days, but whether the crates themselves are also fumigated?

Also, check out "papercrete" and "padobe", "rammed earth" and "cob".
Lots of interesting ways to build a house, depending on where you want
to live, and some are very cheap but labor intensive.

I'd apply EIS and DMSO. Doesn't really need to be much more than 10%
DMSO, but could go higher if tolerated. Several times a day. Could also
use a DMSO gel with MSM.

I've always been told you ice such an injury the first 24-48 hours at

Silver still kills bacteria. Dead bacteria cannot process fish wastes,
allowing the toxins (ammonia, nitrates, nitrites) to build up to
dangerous levels. Why would you want that? Outside water is just as
dependent on the bacterial synergy as is indoor tank water.

Uhh, that will produce an arc and produce nirtic acid. It will digest
the skin of your throat and mouth, and reek havoc with your whole body.
Also it will produce NO colloidal silver at all, but silver nitrate that
is not only toxic but will give you argyria as well. If you want to
make colloidal silver properly using the HVAC cone method, then the
electrode(s) must be much closer to the water, about .05" or so, so the
water is drawn up to the electrode, and there is no spark or arc at
all. Arcs will produce huge amounts of nitric acid.

Can you clarify this a bit. So animals that eat live animals are ok,
right? What about animals that will eat dead animals, but are not feed
dead animals, like pigs that are corn fed? Does it have to do with what
they actually eat, or what they are willing to eat if available, that is
their actual diet, or their metabolism?

I doubt very much you made 300 ppm of CS, CS is not stable beyond 30 or

I've enjoyed your wisdom so much!
Dumb question: are you a woman or a man?
No offense meant - you mention wearing your Campfire girl uniform (I was also a
Campfire girl).
Then you mentioned wanting to become a man by killing a lion.
I have utmost respect for anthropologists and wish I'd taken that route in my
life.
Maybe it's not too late?
Anxious to hear your reply,
Love,
Mary

thanks for the links to the diets. These are aspects I never knew before.
Funny you should send one that mentions the Masai. As a little girl LOOONG ago
I unwillingly spent a summer in Nigeria. Nigeria was plunged into civil war.
I lived every moment in my Campfire uniform because I had missed summer camp
over this war. When my father's work was done he took us all on camera safari
to east Africa. I proudly wore my Campfire girl uniform as we visited each
tribe saluting them with a WOHELO!

And then we entered a Masai village on our way to visit an old drinking buddy
of my dad's. I saw a man in a lion's mane head dress with his wives and wives'
herd of cows. My father's friend explained that he was a MAN because he had
killed a lion, I decided from that moment that when I grew up I would kill a
lion and become a man.

Well I never did but I did become an anthropologist. This is fascinating.
Thanks again.

Re: CS>Ode? Anyone? Ecologically sustainable housing??

2005-11-14 Thread Ode Coyote

Yes I did build my own house..all by myself at that.
An engine hoist and winch did most of the heavy lifting. [I only weigh 150 pounds]
I've known people and have been one for years and years, who built and lived in alternative housing of all sorts, used solar, wind and water mostly based on junk recycled into useful machinery.
..a few experiences with the making of swimming holes including some adventure [and misadventure] with dynamite and AMFO as the Earth mover. [Make the swimming hole 'before' you build the house? ;-)]
Shipping crates may not meet code. You might have to deal with building inspectors.
One thing to look into is straw bale houses. They are slowly gaining approvals.

This should go on the off topic list.

Ode did I hear that you built your own house? Are you in the US?

My husband and I are thinking of moving at the first of the year and rather than buying an existing house we are throwing around the idea of building one out of used/retired Chinese shipping crates.

We need a pool because of his paralysis and I want to use ozone water rather than chlorine.

The people on this list are Oh! so wise! any ideas and words of wisdom for solar panels vs. wind generators, water purifiers, well water and cisterns etc?

We also toyed with the idea of buying a retired ATT underground facility or NIKE site but they are hard to find and are often prone to flooding and government use restrictions. We may end up inheriting one. In this case we will build a shipping crate house on top. Any input on house buildin is appreciated.

Re: CS>water oz,miracle soap

2005-11-14 Thread Ode Coyote

  I'm referring to marketing.
Pyramids [MLM] aren't the definition of evil, just a relatively decent
description.
Given a choice, I'll go with the sale of product vs the buying and selling
of people.

Re: CS>Distilled water...

2005-11-14 Thread cking001
Tony,
The fact that you're current limited to 1 ma is saving you a lot of
grief.
Without that limiting, and using any old water, your current would
reach runaway levels within 3 minutes of brewing.
As you already know, the proof is in the pudding, and you're doing OK.
If I were doing as you're doing, I wouldn't be concerned.
After all, Bob Beck used tap water for several years, and he's
considered by many to be the grandfather of modern colloidal silver.

Most of the methods discussed here, is nit picking and fine tuning.
Some of course are concerned because they have a commercial interest
that holds them to a finer standard. Or their interested in making
large amounts, quickly.
Unless you're using high voltage arcing, the danger is crating nitric
acid, don't sweat it!
Chuck
Avoid cliches like the plague--they're a dime a dozen!
