 Dear Nenah,
We have not evaluated EIS against the bacterial agents referenced by your

measure toxicity. However, we have found that combining EIS with DMSO, has
demonstrated togreatly increase effectivity..sometimes by an
order-of-magnitude-- against a multiplicity of bacterial pathogens,

As a postscript
I might add that at that time (circa 1996-98) we encountered only one
bacteria which successfully resisted EISafter experiencing actual
physical contact. The bacteria (which name escapes my memory, but can be
supplied if someone wants to put me on-the-rack) was one found in silver
mines proper. Interestingly, after 9 generations of isolation from the
silver-impregnated environment of the mines, themselves-the bacteria
LOST its tolerance against EIS. With Warmest Regards, Brooks.

The program is a series called Trawlermen Kirsteen, and I think it was made
in 2007 or 8. They go 100's of K's off the coast up that way trawling fish and
prawns etc.

Sounds to me like they probably *aren't* familiar with EIS if you have never
heard of anyone involved with it where you are, if that be the case then the
obvious question is *why* did that particular bloke have coloured nail moons?
certainly can't be 'cos of silver then can it? Unfortunately he was the only
person I noticed with the colouration, it may have been the skipper of one of
the boats, can't remember, I'll have to watch that series again sometime and
see if I can pick any others.

Thanks for your input and letting me know.

Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer...only 50 to 250 thousand dollars at
your local lab instruments supply house.

Don't forget to pick up the optional trained technician to run it.

Or you can forget about measuring PPM and settle for a fairly good idea
using a TDS/PPM meter. [double what it tells you]

Better...an EC meter [electrical conductivity]

Neither will measure PPM, but you will get a number that lets you believe
it did.

Selenium is a key element involved with regulating the levels of metals

WHERE the Selenium encounters Silver , where reactions take place, will

Melly,
I have found nothing to substantiate that any type of selenium will remove
silver from the tissues. Studies do show that many forms of selenium
complex with silver and will cause silver to be deposited in the tissues.
The silver complexing with those same seleniums can cause a selenium
deficiency leading to liver damage.
Selenomethionine will not complex with silver and therefore not cause
silver deposition in the tissues. It also supports the liver and critical
functions in the liver that support silver removal but it does not remove
silver directly.
So I agree with all you have said except selenomethionine directly
removing silver from the tissues.

 I hope this helps.

HI, I want to order some silver rods.
Is this a good price and place? Does anyone know.
You can order the silver wire here:

http://www.ccsilver.com/silver/superfines.html#four

Cost is per feet.  Two feet of 12 gauge wire is $24.00 + $6.75 shipping
(within the US) = $30.75
We do carry 14 ga also, it is $8.00/ft.

The 12 ga is thicker and will last longer than the 14 ga.

Either size will be fine.
Please let me know.

Yeah, I get that, but not one major media source is explaining the
difference in their articles or news bytes. They're calling what he was
making CS and lambasting CS as quackery. That is mass deception and
disinfo in my book.

Then I searched for media coverage of the article I posted and didn't
find anything. They have forked tongues and talk out of both sides of
their mouths.

2009-09-12 Thread Alan Jones
Brooks, I'm curious why you recommend a 1:1 ratio of AA:BS for creating the
sodium ascorbate. I did some googling and it seems most people recommend
2:1 for AA:BS.

I found the following in the Vitamin C Foundation forums, which explains the
2:1 ratio:

  NaHCO3 + C6H8O6 -- NaC6H7O6 + H2CO3

One mole of sodium bicarbonate is 84 grams, and one mole of ascorbic acid
is 176 grams. So, the correct (stoichiometric) ratio of sodium bicarbonate
to ascorbic acid is 84/176 = 0.477. For example, it would take 477
milligrams of sodium bicarbonate to neutralize 1000 milligrams of ascorbic
acid.

CSHelp needed for lady with MS who suffered a stroke 5 months ago

2009-09-12 Thread Hanneke

Earlier this week, I caught up with some friends and one of them is
desperate to get all and any information to help his partner towards
recovery of a stroke, recovery for as far as possible under the circumstances..

The lady in question is 58 years of age, has been suffering with MS
for a number of years and was using a Goopher/scooter for transport
since last October.
In April of this year, she suffered a stroke and has been stuck in a
nursing home ever since with the prognosis being: she will never come
out of the nursing home, is bedridden and in another 12 months when
the effects of the stroke have mellowed out one will have a clearer
picture of what she will be like for the rest of her life (this is
the message he was given by the medical and nursing staff of the nursing home).

She receives physio therapy and some meds but I didn't ask what
medications, nor whether the meds were for stroke related or MS
related problems. The lady has the use of only one arm/hand, unable to walk,
cannot speak other than grunt. From what I understood, apart from
some memory loss, her mental abilities are in tact and the
frustration and anger she feels about not being

able to communicate as she used to gets the better of her at times.
With the help of pictures she is able to let them know if she wants a
glass of water, a coffee, or ovaltine..whether she wants her hair
dryer, a comb... etc etc. This just to give an idea of how they are
communicating.

She recognises the alphabet and she has been given a children's
keyboard which has large coloured letters which she manages to press
when taking her time to hit them properly. This is connected up with
a computer and shows up on computer screen.
Yesterday, my daughter printed off a sheet with sign language for
one hand which may help

as well since she has the use of the one hand.

My question is: would there be a list of supplements, diet
ideas, exercise ideas which one wouldn't hear about in a nursing
home but will help towards a recovery?

Looking forward to your responses.

Hanneke

Re: CSLiposomal Vit. C: Ancillary Commentary

2009-09-12 Thread Brooks Bradley
You have made an astute observation. 1 to 1 is the lowest ratio which yielded
an acceptable combination productfor us. I should have made a comment to this effect. Actually, I do use 2 to 1 and sometimes 3 to 1just personal preference. However, as one raises the lecithin component volumebe prepared for an increasing excess appearing in the form of meniscus. In any case, nothing of a compromising nature will occur (at least that has been our experience). Also, consuming the meniscus forming lecithin has demonstrated to produce only positive results (this might not be the case, for individuals expressing an allergic reaction to lecithin). I do not desire to generate a controversy relative to phospholipids derived from parent soy materials.but, in 15 years of research with these we have not encountered a SINGLE individual we could confirm as a positive allergic reactor to lecithin (others may have experienced different results). We have, however, encountered a consequential number of subjects who have displayed allergic reaction!
s (sometimes powerful) to a variety of soy food products. UNPROCESSED soybeans contain a variety of compounds not beneficial to the diet of certain animals---man included. e.g. If unprocessed soybeans are fed to poultry, digestive problems often manifest because of a compromising enzymewhich must be destroyed by elevated heat, before they can be beneficial as a large component of the food ration. By far, the greatest number (and these were not a large fraction of test subjectsless than 1%) of allergic reactions presented among athletes who were consuming large amounts of soy-derived protein products.
These comments are simply that, comments, relating to some of our general research. I do not wish to generate argumentative confrontation over the merits or limitations of soy products in the human food/health chain.
Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.

Thanks for all the awesome replies!

I had forgotten about Buteyko. I have seen many of the videos and have one
of the books - I read about 1/2 of it. It's just hard to get a 3 year old
to do that! She just turned 3 a month ago, so she's just barely 3! I know
it's a very effective treatment.

With the DMSO, you nebulize it with the CS? Interesting. Hubby has some
DMSO - so use 10% DMSO? Like 10% DMSO to 90% CS? I think his DMSO is the
99.9% version, but I'm not sure. I'd like to know the ratio so I can do
that too.

I've given her CS twice in the nebulizer. I succumbed to giving her some of
the asthma drugs too. Ugh. Xoepenex and Budesonide. I prefer 'natural'
stuff, but she was really wheezing/retracting and I know that stuff will
make that stop. I didn't know what else to do. :-(

She does seem to be doing better now. She was worrying me this morning.
But the CS and drugs in the nebulizer seem to be working now. Ugh. Just
trying to stay out of the hospital! Will be nebulizing more CS in a few
minutes. Is giving CS nebulized every 3-4 hours sufficient? Someone
mentioned every 30 minutes - should I be doing that instead?

Again, thanks for the info. I knew you guys would have great ways to handle
this! :-) Gina

Dee,
In my experience, the minerals left behind in the still chamber do
build up a hard crust. So you want one that is easy to clean. The water
here is also very hard, and my distiller, with a bit of maintenance has
been in use nearly daily for around 6 years. The one linked by Garnet is
the one I have, and it is very easy to clean. I just put a quart or so
of white vinegar in it, use a plate in place of the distiller top, and
let the vinegar come to a boil, unplug, let cool, scrub out a bit with a
scrubbie pad, rinse. I am cheap enough (frugal enough) to pour the
cooled used vinegar back into the jug, it can be re-used many times,
though it gets brown and cruddy looking.

Those that ship often enough to the UK to negotiate a contract rate
will no doubt have lower shipping costs than other places. So check
several online retailers, you might find one with reasonable rates on a

Melly,
I have found nothing to substantiate that any type of selenium will remove
silver from the tissues. Studies do show that many forms of selenium complex
with silver and will cause silver to be deposited in the tissues. The silver
complexing with those same seleniums can cause a selenium deficiency leading to
liver damage.
Selenomethionine will not complex with silver and therefore not cause silver
deposition in the tissues. It also supports the liver and critical functions in
the liver that support silver removal but it does not remove silver directly.
So I agree with all you have said except selenomethionine directly removing
silver from the tissues.
 I hope this helps.

since last October.

From what I understood,  apart from some memory
loss, her mental abilities are in tact and the frustration and anger she feels
about not being
able to communicate as she used to gets the better of her at times.

This is connected up with a computer
and shows up on computer screen.
Yesterday, my daughter printed off a sheet with  sign language for one hand
which may help
as well  since she has the use of the one hand.

My question is: would there be a list of supplements, diet
ideas,  exercise ideas which one wouldn't hear about in a nursing
home but will help towards a recovery?

Looking forward to your responses.

Hanneke

HI, I want to order some silver rods.
Is this a good price and place? Does anyone know.
You can order the silver wire here:

http://www.ccsilver.com/silver/superfines.html#four

Cost is per feet. Two feet of 12 gauge wire is $24.00 + $6.75 shipping
(within the US) = $30.75
We do carry 14 ga also, it is $8.00/ft.

The 12 ga is thicker and will last longer than the 14 ga.

Either size will be fine.
Please let me know.

Re: CSFW: asthma- Gina

2009-09-12 Thread Garnet
I did not suggest giving it during the asthma attack. Best
read more carefully before

going off at someone for something they did not write. ;-)))

DMSO is not an irritant but it is drying. It is actually a
tissue preservative and cell

normalizer.

Again patch testing is a good idea with any new substance.

DMSO is an irritant to start with. It is a very powerful solvent. I used
to work around it, I know first hand.

This kind of information, in my opinion, serves to muddy the water in
this situation, whereas it might be a very welcome addition to an
intellectual discussion in a different situation.

Unless I had abundant personal experience with using dmso and cs, I
would never give it to a child having an asthma attack, unless it was
proven beforehand that the child could tolerate it. An adverse reaction
could have very severe consequences. Especially when CS alone works
really really well, with no chance of such a reaction.

Although there are rare individuals truly sensitive to DMSO it is not

The subject of sulfur allergy has come up and it depends on the form
of sulfur. It is a common misconception that
allergy to sulfite or sulfa drugs is a sulfur allergy. This is a
misnomer.

Sulfur is a component of all protien containing foods. One can not
live without sulfur. It is in fact the most abundant mineral in the
human body.

http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/69144.php
Being told that one is sulfur allergic commonly causes confusion,
as many people wrongly assume that they will be allergic to multiple
sulfur-containing medicines or sulfite preservatives. It is important
to know that sulfur is an important building block of life, and that
allergic reactions to sulfonamide (sometimes called sulfur)
antibiotics do not increase the likelihood that a person will also be
allergic to sulfur powder, sulfite preservatives, or non-antibiotic
sulfonamide medicines like some pain killers or diuretics (water
tablets).

It is the only thing to do. If it were me, I would use EIS or cs in
the nebulizer, with no DMSO at all. Some allergic people are very
sensitive to sulfers, so I would not chance it.
I would really really talk to the doctor about the use of the steroid
inhalers. They all seem to love them, but they are of no use for
wheezing. They say they are to be used to reduce the inflammation in
the long run. However, if asthma is related to fungal infections as
more recent research indicates, it might only serve to increase the
infection, if there is one. Steroids can not be stopped cold turkey,
though, since the body becomes adapted to them.
My home made CS helps my asthma a great deal. I grew up with asthma
from the age of 2, so I know what your daughter is going through.

I use mine regularly with 40-60 ppm hard water. Every few

Re: CSHelp needed for lady with MS who suffered a stroke 5 months ago

For MS look into Low Dose Naltrexone.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LDN_Information is a
non-discussion
list created for the files and links. There are links to
many email lists,
info sites and studies. There are double blind placebo
studies in MS,

Crohn's and FM. LDN is an immune system modulator and stops
progression of MS symptoms. There are other protocols for
healing

MS lesions.

For Stroke DMSO is preventative but has also been used up to
7 days
after spinal cord trauma with good results. Trouble with
DMSO in a nursing
home is that in the quantities needed the garlic odor would
give away any
stealth use as it can be strong and disturb other patients.
4cc a day orally
is a suggested daily dose per Dr Stanley Jacob, who
developed DMSO

in the 70's. He takes it every day now for 30+ years.

Dear Mary,

you are to be admired for your persistence and courage!

It seems that you are living proof for a fact that science
is only just about to discover: that the brain has a lot
of reserves, and with consequent training unused brain
portions can take over the functions of parts of the brain
that have been damaged in accidents or by a stroke.

There is a book that reports many of the newest efforts
to help people with such problems:

The Brain That Changes Itself: Stories of Personal Triumph
from the Frontiers of Brain Science (James H. Silberman Books)
Norman Doidge

http://www.amazon.com/Brain-That-Changes-Itself-Frontiers/dp/0143113100/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8s=booksqid=1252781708sr=8-1

There is one story in it where a son re-trains his father

Well, doing nothing gets nothing done...

How much does your distilled water cost?
How many gallons or liters does it take to equal the price of a
distiller?
If any distiller gives you more than that, then you're ahead.

Proper maintenance lengthens the life of the device.
That means using white vinegar once in awhile to clear hard water
deposits.

I think your procrastination is costing you.

Earlier this week, I caught up with some friends and one of them is

recovery of a stroke, recovery for as far as possible under the circumstances..

The lady in question is 58 years of age, has been suffering with MS

In April of this year, she suffered a stroke and has been stuck in a

the effects of the stroke have mellowed out one will have a clearer
picture of what she will be like for the rest of her life (this is
the message he was given by the medical and nursing staff of the nursing home).

Hanneke

I don't quite understand your concern over hard water. Where I live
the water is extremely hard, and it just means I clean the still
oftener than might be needed elsewhere. The minerals that are left
behind in the boiling chamber are easily cleaned out of my
distiller, which is the same one Garnet posted a link to. I do know
there are some distillers out there which cannot be thoroughly or

I owned 2 shopping centers and 30 businesses, i lost everything except my husband and children.
If I knew than what I know now I would have saved me years and years of pain and frustration. I became a hypnotherapist and understand words are extremely important to your subconscience because in a way that is the only one you can talk to.
The docs kept saying I would never recover damage too great, well I did. They told me the 3 brain chemicals you needed were in those antidepresants, yeah right, no way.
I discovered this web site and through it discovered magnesium oil. They state that through any trama magnesium leaves the body and needs to be replaced time and time again. well I started using mo and I immediately started to get better. I went on a search for the "lost brain chemicals" they are dark chocolate, legumes, potatoes. This plus mag oil helped me recover fast.
I still fall once in a while for I lost 89% of the balance in my ear, i now know the signs and I keep moving while standing up to let the brain know where the body is.
Sometimes I do not know what people are saying unless I am looking at them, I can hear them but do not understand, but once they face me I can understand.
Still cannot be under flou lites, fans, but I can go into malls, grocery stores,as long as the music isn't at a certain pitch.
Other things still linger but I am on my way.

Duncan, or anyone else,

What methods are you using for connecting to your electrodes, and/or
connecting your electrode assembly to your brew cell for this sort of
CS maker.

I'm still planning to do this. I actually have several microwaves

connections to the electrodes and brew cell...

Thanks,

All you buy is the perishable part -- a Canadian $5 fine silver coin.
Get it rolled out at a jewelers/goldsmiths.

I've built a couple dozen of these for local people in the last eight years
or so. I don't send them via freight, but many others around the world
including third-world countries have built copies and have been completely
satisfied with the speed and quality of output and ease of operation. Some
are producing quite a lot of CS every month for a large market. Let's hear
from some of you if you are on this list.

Per moderator Mike Devour's request, I have removed all sales information
from the page, and here's the DISCLAIMER: Don't ask for a diagram. Get an
electrician or electronics hobbyist to first bleed the capacitor charge,
which can be a LETHAL amount of current. The dangerous part is in the

FYI: Removing the electrode from the jar of CS does NOT pose a risk, as the
circuit is still completed by the solution after the unit shuts off,
 grounding the capacitor.

Actually, you can telllook for one in which the entire top
removes, and that has two plugs going into the tank. One plug for the
top, one to the power supply. That means you can heat the tank without
the top on, using a plate or other lid as a temporary top. It is NOT a
good idea to heat vinegar in the tank with the top in place if the
condensing tubes are made of aluminum. I think there are some stills
that have SS condensing tubes, but mine has tubes of aluminum.
The one my friend has that can't be cleaned is an AquaVie if memory

tell from pics of the unit, contact the mfr and ask.

You can see the line where the top fits onto the tank. The entire top
lifts off. See the photo looking into the tank with the top off. You
don't have to buy this particular distiller, but this is what to look for.

You would probably be better off making some sort of an extraction
from the rosehips to use. I'm not exactly sure how you would do that,
I'm thinking that using hot water (as in making a tea) would possibly
affect the vitamins content, etc.

Rose hips are just about ready to harvest on my one thriving Rugosa bush. I

2009-09-12 Thread Bob Banever
None of these bacteria are resistant to silver. NONE. If silver doesn't kill
them it's because the silver was not ionic and/or it did not make contact with
the bacteria. Adding a 10% DMSO solution to the silver would solve the
problem, assuming the silver is in the ionic form. Bacteria can hide in
mucous, fat, protein, dead cells, folds of skin, etc. DMSO will bring the
silver to the bacteria. Problem solved.

Re: CSRe: silver-digest Digest V2009 #524

2009-09-12 Thread Norton, Steve
Melly,
It is my opinion that some silver does stay in the tissues when you use silver.
But I think with prudent use the silver buildup can be maintained at a low
enough level to avoid argryia. Such as not using silver nitrate, silver acetate
or mild silver proteins. Not using high doses for a long long period. Based on
what I have heard from others here on the list you can use large amounts of EIS
for longer than you might expect. And using the right selenium when using EIS.
I can't say with absolute certainty that one cannot get argryia with EIS or CS
but there are some on the list with much more experience than I that believe
that you cannot. I think that there are some reasons to believe that EIS has a
low rate of silver retention.
Like you I have been concentrating on the best way to avoid argryia while using
EIS/CS rather than curing argryia and my posts have been with that focus.
However if one did have argryia and stopped all use of silver it might be of
use to try a selenium that binds with silver. It may entice some of silver
metal from the tissues and even if it gets redoposited in the tissues there is
a good possibility it would redeposit in internal organs rather than in the
skin. And if you already have the silver in your tissues you are no worse off
by moving it. But again I would only try this after giving time for all
residual silver from silver use to exit the body by normal means. There are
some other things I would try including glutathione supplementation but with no
promise of success.
This might come across as a pessimistic post but I do not mean it to be one. I
really do not expect to have a problem with argryia but the lower the
probability the better in my opinion.

2009-09-12 Thread Bob Banever
Lin,

You are making excellent ionic/colloidal silver with the Silvergen. If you
do it correctly, using just distilled water and .999 fine silver, you should
come out with an 80%ionic, 20%particulate solution (or thereabouts). At 10ppm
or so this should be an excellent silver for just about anything. Argentin23
is also an excellent product but not much different than what you are making.
They claim it too is 10ppm and the nanoparticles of silver are supposedly very
small. I don't know the ration of ions to particles in their product, but it
probably won't work any better than you home made brew.

Amazing. If the test were done on plated media, they are worthless, as it
has been demonstrated years before broth must be used for the reason you

If the people who did the studies were ignorant of that fact it shows they
were not qualified to do the study. If they did know that, they were
deliberately attempting to discredit silver.

trainer's mule had white line disease in his foot which is a fungus inside the
layers of the foot. It can get bad enough they loose their foot. She had been
working at trying to cure him for five years. I suggested she use the MMS and
cs. She ended up soaking the foot in a bag of cs, dmso, mms (activated) and
used the godzilla on it. In six weeks it seems to be completely healed.

I used MMS and felt much better after building up but never got to the 14
drops. I have it in our arsenal of products to use. Just got our nebulizer in
and used it for the first time. Think it's going to help a lot but only used
cs in it.

Hi Steve.  I too would like to have a testimony.  I have purchased everything I
need, just waiting on more feedback.  I will let this group know if I do find
out anything.  Orrilia
