Short of hitting you with a million questions...Splash some over the animals
fur and feet with the same regularity as before when you were treating the
animal and see what happens over another month.

2010-03-07 Thread Nenah Sylver
[carolG] Her paw/skin color on legs didn't come back right away, but
considering I wouldn't call it long. Maybe I am first to experience this,
but just my observation. Regardless I am glad I tried it, no regrets at all
and now we can working our way up the ladder to see her belly and some of
her skin get lighter in color. It could have been a combo of things too as
I believe she was on drugs still at this point.

==

Carol,

I once had a dog (now deceased) whose skin got a little darker after I began
administering CS to her instead of water and she drank huge amounts. I
remember thinking it curious, but I wasn't worried about it, because the CS
was helping to keep her healthy. The CS was made correctly as far as I
know-I drank it with no skin or nail changes.

The darkened skin lightened again after a time. I can understand wanting to
know why a dog's skin would seem to change color. However, at least with my
dog the changes were cosmetic only, and didn't last.

I don't believe this could happen sol either, but *something* must have caused
it. More likely to be stuff being applied topically I would have thought, but
I have never seen this happen and my friend gave an ounce of CS to her Cavalier
spaniels every day for months, and this did not happen. A strange phenomena.

2010-03-07 Thread Dorothy Fitzpatrick
I just had a thought about this. My dog (German Shepherd) periodically gets
demodectic mange. This results in his getting weepy sores in isolated spots.
I treat this using a mix of Thornit (iodine powder) and olive oil, which I
paste thickly over the affected area. Now the hair disappears in these spots
and the skin goes grey. This only lasts a couple of weeks then is gone. When
the hair grows back fully, the skin goes pink again. Maybe there is a similar
mechanism happening in Carols case. dee

2010-03-07 Thread Alan Jones
Mike, awesome job on the archives!

But I have a question, this seems like a bug. When I'm viewing a message in
the archives, at the top of the page there's a "Date" link and a "Thread"
link. I was expecting that when I click "Date", for example, that I'd go to
a page showing posts sorted by date, but the date context would include the
previously viewed post. For example, I was just looking at an email from
Nov 1999; when I click "Date" I expected to see more emails in that
timeframe, instead it went to the most recent posts.

RE: CS>Production of CS info?

2010-03-07 Thread Nenah Sylver
Erika,

I think you're too worried about this.

In the past on this list, people have stated that they have stored their CS
in plastic for a couple of years and the silver has remained in its
appropriate particle form.

Safe types of plastic are #5 PP, #2 HDPE, and #4 LDPE.

In any case, the people to whom you'll be marketing your CS will likely be
using it up quickly, and so the silver "plating out" won't be a problem.

I have been looking at the SG6 & SG7 for purchase on generators for the CS
but not sure yet which one to invest in.

The plastic vs. glass containers still is confusing to me I've read so many
controversial things on this subject. One thing even said to use glass
containers with cork for lids only?

Plastics - there are several kinds and lids are rarely made from the same
material as the container.

What about spray tops? Glass OR plastic container the spray top will be
plastic and likely several types of plastic and metal will be in the spray
mechanism?

So how much am I over thinking this? :)

I have been using two Canadian Maple coins since day one.I suspend them using
two alligator clip wires from Radio Shack. They are suspended so the metal clips
do not get in the water.,and, I do not use a bubbler now as sometimes the spray
can fly up onto same clips, may have no effect even if it did;??
The coins are each submerged as close to 50% as possible by eye.
The oxide forms equally on all the submerged parts and wear seems to be even.
Have been satisfied so far.
I don't see how you can pound them out on an anvil as contamination is very
likely;at least with any anvil I have ever had dealings with.
Not needed.

OK!
I was bitten 20 years ago this summer, while living in Arkansas. Tick was on
my lower leg, so the rash was visible. Went to the dumbest doc in the world.
(He refused to xray my high school freshman daughter`s broken foot, so she
walked for 2 years on a broken tarsus!) The idiot gave me 60 mg of doxy for
10 days. Of course I eventually went into 4th stage disseminated Lyme...
Moved to Wisconsin in 1996, the idiot doc there refused to believe I could
still have LD after 6 years of doxy. Refused to give me any more doxy. 3
months later I was dying. I was SO sick! I said a prayer for help, and was
heard, as my old friend from jr. college days sent me some papers she`d
found used as packing in a box she`d received in the mail. It was Mark
Metcalf`s info on CS!! It included what CS is, how to make it and a list of
650 diseases it can cure, one of which was Lyme. I`m so glad she thought of
me and sent the info along!
My son found some silver wire, made up the generator and I got well again,
except for the permanent brain damage the DD caused. I`m disabled now as I
can`t walk much.
I`m a LOT better now at almost 58 than I was at 38!!

Re: CS>color change dog's paws and legs, would like opinions on how this could have happened?

2010-03-07 Thread LINDARAY

Hi Carol,

I've used CS for at least 12 years on all my kitties, on several friends' pet animals and all my immediate family's dogs and cats, several rescued animals and 1 tiger, plus loads of roadhit opossums.

I have never seen nor heard of a color change such as you are describing, nor anything involving skin (or fur) color change in an animal anywhere, at anytime. Several animals I know of have been getting daily CS for years (in with their water), and they are doing fine, thanks to the CS and their owners.

I use CS that I make myself, I don't buy it anywhere.

You have mentioned the possibility that your dog may have been on steroids or antibiotics at the time as well. I  have never read of CS interacting adversely with any medication, (I have in fact read that it doesn't) with the possible exception that it may make certain antibiotics work better.

I'd be more suspicious of the steroids and other pharma stuff, myself.

Another possibility:
Perhaps your dog's circulation was being temporarily attenuated by illness or medication, which resulted in his/her extremities getting less Oxygen? Like a person having blue lips or blue fingernails when they are short of Oxygen, or when the Heart is being affected by something.

Then perhaps as the dog got better (Medication stopped, changed or circulation situation corrected), the normal coloration was able to return.

So my answer to your question is "I do not know", but you have asked for input, and there is mine, unless something else occurs to me down the road.

Please note that I have modified the topic line, since the other way implied a foregone conclusion that CS must certainly be at fault. Unless you unknowingly gave the dog a silver product that is different than what we are making, I truly do not see how silver could be what caused the change you describe.

BTW if you gave CS to your dog, you did nothing to hurt the dog, and the CS is probably what helped him/her get better. I have seen many animals' lives saved by CS when allopathic-only vets were doing nothing but killing the animal, albeit very expensively. Because of the number of times CS has been the only thing that made a significant positive difference, I will never, ever hesitate to use it with any animal that I think needs it.

So if someone who is unfamiliar with CS has told you or implied to you that you caused the problem by giving your dog the CS, please do not believe it. There are too many of us who know better.

Stay well,

Linda

HI Linda,
Great that mine is the first of record that you heard of for my dog.

Can't blame anything here except my own conclusions: drugs + possibility of CS
caused discoloration of legs/paws only plus nose I mentioned in last email. So
happy to report she is doing much better and not afraid to give her some in her
drinking water either. Her blood work for the organs tested great when
originally diagnosed. I am seeing more signs of improvement for sure and thanks
to these types of groups learned all great things.

I know drugs are poisons and it may been ironic that her legs/nose/paws would
change by the drugs, but all is possible knowing the killing drugs that I feel
prey too. I don't feel I feel prey to CS as I used it wanting to and would use
it again for her drinking tooI used it straight however..regardless she's
doing well now..thanks for your information...always a willing student to learn
and advance my own self improvement. Truthfully I do appreciate all comments
here.

Always room to learn.
Thanks again to you, Sol, and others...

Searle who did create it. Then they changed its name to Nutra Sweet and sold it
on after making their load.

And I feel sick. They have a philanthropic arm which travesties of all
travesties uses the Ghandi quote 'we must be the change we need to see in the
world'. That must mean they are a bunch of genetically modified, sterile,
poisonous clones.. Call the CDC and quarantine the lot of them.

sorry, couldn't resist that one

Most people don't know about Monsanto and their doings. So once again, I urge
you pass on the information.. develop an elevator speech which you can use
to people you meet in the supermarket..

And so to bed and my does of CS... goodnight all.. time to chill out with an
episode or two of Little House on the Prairie!

Steve,

It's not GMO involvement, that kills, but Monsanto's pesticides... its on the
plant, in the soil and IN the plant.

Who owns ScienceDaily, anyway.

RE: CS>color change dog's paws and legs, would like opinions on how this could have happened?

2010-03-07 Thread Neville Munn

Could you clarify the following for me please?

1) Store purchased product or Home made?...

2) PPM or uS level of that solution?...

3) Colour of solution...clear, pale yellow, rich golden, tea
coloured?

4) Dose volume per administration, or total in a 24 hour period? ml or
ounces

Just quick simple answers will do, you don't need to elaborate.

HI Linda,
Great that mine is the first of record that you heard of for my dog.

Hi Carol,

I've used CS for at least 12 years on all my kitties, on several friends' pet
animals and all my immediate family's dogs and cats, several rescued animals
and 1 tiger, plus loads of roadhit opossums.

I have never seen nor heard of a color change such as you are describing, nor
anything involving skin (or fur) color change in an animal anywhere, at
anytime. Several animals I know of have been getting daily CS for years (in
with their water), and they are doing fine, thanks to the CS and their owners.

I use CS that I make myself, I don't buy it anywhere.

You have mentioned the possibility that your dog may have been on steroids or
antibiotics at the time as well. I have never read of CS interacting adversely
with any medication, (I have in fact read that it doesn't) with the possible
exception that it may make certain antibiotics work better.

I'd be more suspicious of the steroids and other pharma stuff, myself.

Another possibility:
Perhaps your dog's circulation was being temporarily attenuated by illness or
medication, which resulted in his/her extremities getting less Oxygen? Like a
person having blue lips or blue fingernails when they are short of Oxygen, or
when the Heart is being affected by something.

Then perhaps as the dog got better (Medication stopped, changed or circulation
situation corrected), the normal coloration was able to return.
 >>

So if someone who is unfamiliar with CS has told you or implied to you that you
caused the problem by giving your dog the CS, please do not believe it. There
are too many of us who know better.

Stay well,

Linda

Cayenne is very good at stopping the bleeding, I have tried it. Was a
bit concerned, about burning, but amazingly it did not burn the wound
at all.

I doubt it has any disinfecting properties?
So I guess if you mixed up a paste of Cayenne and c/s you would have
the best of both worlds, a clogging agent and a disinfectant.
