Could you clarify the following for me please?
1) Store purchased product or Home made?................... 2) PPM or uS level of that solution?........... 3) Colour of solution...clear, pale yellow, rich golden, tea coloured?........................ 4) Dose volume per administration, or total in a 24 hour period? ml or ounces............ Just quick simple answers will do, you don't need to elaborate. N. To: [email protected] HI Linda, Great that mine is the first of record that you heard of for my dog. Can't blame anything here except my own conclusions: drugs + possibility of CS caused discoloration of legs/paws only plus nose I mentioned in last email. So happy to report she is doing much better and not afraid to give her some in her drinking water either. Her blood work for the organs tested great when originally diagnosed. I am seeing more signs of improvement for sure and thanks to these types of groups learned all great things. I know drugs are poisons and it may been ironic that her legs/nose/paws would change by the drugs, but all is possible knowing the killing drugs that I feel prey too. I don't feel I feel prey to CS as I used it wanting to and would use it again for her drinking too....I used it straight however..regardless she's doing well now..thanks for your information...always a willing student to learn and advance my own self improvement. Truthfully I do appreciate all comments here. Always room to learn..... Thanks again to you, Sol, and others... Hi Carol, I've used CS for at least 12 years on all my kitties, on several friends' pet animals and all my immediate family's dogs and cats, several rescued animals and 1 tiger, plus loads of roadhit opossums. I have never seen nor heard of a color change such as you are describing, nor anything involving skin (or fur) color change in an animal anywhere, at anytime. Several animals I know of have been getting daily CS for years (in with their water), and they are doing fine, thanks to the CS and their owners. I use CS that I make myself, I don't buy it anywhere. You have mentioned the possibility that your dog may have been on steroids or antibiotics at the time as well. I have never read of CS interacting adversely with any medication, (I have in fact read that it doesn't) with the possible exception that it may make certain antibiotics work better. I'd be more suspicious of the steroids and other pharma stuff, myself. Another possibility: Perhaps your dog's circulation was being temporarily attenuated by illness or medication, which resulted in his/her extremities getting less Oxygen? Like a person having blue lips or blue fingernails when they are short of Oxygen, or when the Heart is being affected by something. Then perhaps as the dog got better (Medication stopped, changed or circulation situation corrected), the normal coloration was able to return. >> So if someone who is unfamiliar with CS has told you or implied to you that you caused the problem by giving your dog the CS, please do not believe it. There are too many of us who know better.
