CSSilver gel
Dave, I made silver Gel directly in various gel mediums but they all turned black (well light grey ) on making. All I did was place the rods directly in a gel filled jar and stirred with the rods. It was a long time ago and I think before I 'invented ' current control. I tried boiled starch, chicken broth and KY gel. The KY was the best because it was smooth, clear, but also fairly expensive, tho one used very little. I ended up making it in a small squat bottle about 15 ml . I also bought some ecg electrode conductive gel and that was very economical. That was a medical gel with silver and silver chloride mixed in. I think it was for one of my childrens zits, which were not bad anyway. Erm I was a bit concerned about the kids turning black due to argyria. Ode or Marshall have gel ingredients to make your own. Too much current across too little resistance turns into heat. Increasing distance between the electrodes increases resistance and reduces current. There are easier ways to control current without using the constantly changing CS as the resistor..like, with a potentiometer, or a current control diode, a voltage regulator wired to be a current regulator, or transistor feedback circuit. Then you need to know when to stop and a timer won't generally tell you that. If all this is over your head, you need a generator that does it for you, automatically. CSSpeaking of gels
My question is about the electrode conducting gels. I bought an ultrasonic handdeld device for working on my teeth (via outside the cheek) and haven't used it yet because it says to use a conducting gel with it. So I'm wondering if there's anything special about a conducting gel? I have Ode's gel making kit that I have not used yet. Will any gel work or do I need to buy gel made specifically for conduction? Will plain water do, or does it need the gel to keep the skin 'wet' because with water only it could dry out during a 10 to 20 minute use? Samala, Renee

Re: CSRe: Help please
The Utopia Silver generator appears to be a (non current regulated) voltage supply with a timer. Since CS or EIS making is notoriously variable, and as the process with no current regulation increases its production of silver output into the solution exponentially as the process continues, you can easily overshoot the time when you should have stopped brewing and end up with too strong of a silver solution. With that process, you don't know what you have as an end product in terms of ppm of silver. If you standardize your brewing process, always using the same brand of distilled water at the same temperature, the same volume of water, and the same time on the timer, you should be able to get a fairly consistent product. If you change any of these variables you have to re-figure out everything. Try reducing the time until your final product just gets a slight yellow tint, like diluted urine, when it is stabilized. You can either use this timing, or back off slightly until you get a more colorless product. Since power is I*V then actually too much voltage across too little resistance, or too much current across too much resistance produces more power. Re: CSRe: silver-digest Digest V2010 #836
Melly -- Dan made a very important point -- that the generator that you have is non-current regulated. So you'll need to do more than move the electrodes, bend the ends and change the gauge of the wire -- you'll also need to monitor your product as it's brewing. I'm not familiar with the timer provided by Utopia -- but if you're getting cloudy results, then the timer isn't working for you. Do you by chance have a Hanna tester? Using one of these would give you an idea of what ppm-level you're getting as you move forward in the brewing process. Once you find out about how long it takes to get to the ppm-level that you're targeting, then you can set your timer to that amount of time. I don't know why you weren't having problems like this before -- have you changed brands of distilled water? Did you move your generator so that it's sitting in a warmer area? Did you pre-heat the distilled water before brewing? All of these things can change the speed at which the brewing process takes place. I'm no expert on this -- for that reason I have a generator that is automatic. That means that it turns itself off when the ppm-level that I want has been achieved. I always get crystal-clear CS in the range of 10 ppms. Ode sells a unit like this (Silverpuppy), and www.wishgranted.com sells one as well. You might consider getting one of them, and using your Utopia unit as a back-up. FWIW. Another suggestion for you, Melly... If you've started to get enough plating out of silver on the inside of the jar that it might be lowering the resistance seen by the power supply and boosting the current to unreasonable levels... you should be able to remove it by rinsing the jar with hydrogen peroxide. Just a dollop of the standard stuff from the drug store, followed with a few swishes of distilled, should eliminate any conductive coating from the inside of the jar. Repeat occasionally. The other thing, as several people have noted, is that if if the process worked previously and none of your conditions have changed (same type and amount of water, same amount of brewing time, etc) then check for contamination of the wires or the jar from touching with your fingers, etc. In other words, don't touch any of these things with your bare fingers, and clean them with hydrogen peroxide and rinse with distilled water. CSOT - Jaxi and jaw stuff response to Melly
I'll let the science geeks answer the technical stuff ... As for my jaw/teeth/sinuses ... are you referring to my post some time ago about the infection I got post having my old fillings replaced? I did end up doing a round of antibiotics - I wish I had found the microelectricity before I did that but hey, live and learn and keep on keeping on ... although they helped with the major infection issue in my parotid gland they also caused a cascade of other stuff but I'll live Since then here is what I have found works for me ... I made some microelectricity devices ... I use a 3V one on the jaw/sinus area (the 6V was too strong for me causing eye flashes I didn't like) ... if I use it every night I sleep well, have much less TMJD pain, less trigeminal nerve type pain, and my sinuses do not fill up overnight (ie ... I can breath - at night and during the day) ... AND I am getting even fewer migraines. If I skip nights the pain starts inching up again and the sinuses start to fill (although not as bad as they used to). I have not given it long enough ... enough days in a row to truly kill the problem germs/infection so when I get lazy and don't do it every day they start to build again. The 6V might do it faster, but I really found the eye flashes disconcerting. People have found the microelectricity to be successful for nixing periodontal issues. I have noticed I seem to have zero plaque tartar issues since starting with it. My teeth feel smooth all day. I have never really had gum issues and my tests where they measure pocket depth or whatever that is called have always been in the good range with little to no bleeding. Re: CSSilver gel
Hi There Dave - I do not understand what you are talking about with the gel you say you make/made - I have been making Colloidal Silver gel for the past six years and have never had the problems you say you have, Ode has a perfectly good gel kit for sale on his website, all you have to do is buy it, follow his directions by mixing it with colloidal silver (EIS) and you have a perfectly good gel. This comment is not directed at your personally, how ever I observe many on this list in need of doing their own thing, when a perfectly good way has been achieved by many here over the years, who are the base for all we know and are able to share with those who wish to learn. However if there are those who are so into their egos that they cannot accept the work of others which has been perfected then so be it. As a result of this observation there are many new-comers who are completely confused by all the ego suggestions ! Ode tell them to go to Australia, Melbourne to be specific, find a gentleman who used to have a very large business there making colloidal silver, colloidal silver gel as well as an aloe/colloidal silver gel - I cannot remember his name as I write this, however I went to his factory and met with him, he has now been shut down by the powers that be in that country as it happening just about everywhere - on we go Life never is dull, it simply gets more and more of a merry go round - called cycles !!! Re: CSSpeaking of gels
What is a electrode conducting gel please ? You can make your own by buying Ode's gel kit following his instructions, put said gel on the electrodes and you have a gel - admittedly it will not last for more than one application, however if you really want to get the gel they use in hospitals for electrodes on an ECG eg. then get them from Hulda Clark she has them for her zappers - these last about three months if you care them ! Re: CSCS: Liposomal encapsulating others
Maybe you can encapsulate coconut milk, but not sure about the oil. Just try it. I have the big Harbor Freight Ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, and let it run 480 seconds with Vit C and Glutathione. They work fine. I measured the Ph of the Vit C after adding the 3/4 tsp sodium bicarbonate, and it was still acidic, so I kept adding the soda until it read over 7. Not sure that is necessary, but it encapsulated ok. And the lecithin read about 7 before and after adding the Vit C. I tried encapsulating magnesium chloride, but it didn't work. I am taking the magnesium chloride for hypertension and leg cramps, and am wondering if it would be more effective if it was encapsulated and went directly into the blood and cells where needed instead of through the digestive system. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Re: CSCS: Liposomal encapsulating others
One thing I would be concerned about are the other things in the compound you are trying to encapsulate that you might not want to enter your blood stream directly. Things like cellulose and other fillers and anti-caking agents. I did check into that. We have a king sized bed which is fairly new and I couldn't see an effective way of making it work with the bed and frame we have and I do not have the money to replace it again so soon. Although honestly, with the microelectricity I don't have congestion issues unless I stop doing it for a few days. I suspect it is more related to an old root canal with crown tooth up there with some infection around the root base which is impacting the sinus cavity. That's my theory anyway. I don't know if there's anything special about electrode conducting gel. That's why I asked. The device said use an electrode conducting gel. I was thinking perhaps it had something 'special' in it--salt or something, to make it more conducive to electricity. If it's just a plain gel to keep the skin moist while using the electrode device for 20 minutes, then I could make my own with Ode's gel kit, that I have here at home. This is my recipe for it now. Subject: CS: Liposomal Vitamin C,Lecithin After trying a few different ways to make Lipo-C,I settled on putting 3 tblspns of Soy Lecithin in one cup of DW and let it sit at room temp.until Lecithin was fully in solution. Then I put two[2] tspns of Ascorbic acid in 1/2 cup of DW plus one tspn of bicarb [1],let it fizz right down.If I see any sedimentation on the bottom, then I tweak it by adding a pinch of Vit.C.,if it fizzes then I add a bit more until no reaction. If the first pinch of C does nothing, then I add a pinch of bicarb,if it fizzes then I repeat the process until no reaction.I have found this to give me as close to 100% as you can hope for.In my last four brews I had two with very slight traces of Leci. floating on top. These seemed to be from larger sized granules. When I measure the Lecithin I do notice that the size of the granules do vary.If I had a precise scale I would try doing it by weight, just to see. CSMgCl and hypertension, Leg Cramps and Potassium
Hi Dick, I know you did not ask, but here is my experience anyway. I have ongoing electrolyte issues and have found that potassium works better for my leg cramps and magnesium is better for restless leg type movements. If I do not take potassium in supplement form AM and bedtime, leg cramps will follow that will not be relieved by anything but the potassium. Now a question about the MgCl - How is it working concerning the hypertension? I measured the Ph of the Vit C after adding the 3/4 tsp sodium bicarbonate, and it was still acidic, so I kept adding the soda until it read over 7. Not sure that is necessary, but it encapsulated ok. And the lecithin read about 7 before and after adding the Vit C. I tried encapsulating magnesium chloride, but it didn't work. I am taking the magnesium chloride for hypertension and leg cramps, and am wondering if it would be more effective if it was encapsulated and went directly into the blood and cells where needed instead of through the digestive system.

CSLiposomal encapsulating others
I'm sure after reading everywhere with transdermal Mg saying how poorly absorbed it was, I found that it's actually about 40% orally, which compared to most things sounds pretty good to me. I have a friend that's in that trap of taking a tablet for blood pressure, and another for the side effects, and another for the side effects of that one etc.. and mention MgCl and what I'd read about blood pressure. I only have the hexahydrate version here, but gave him a bottle of capsules (EDTA fwiw) that he could empty and manually pack with the Mg. He can test his own blood pressure and found that the Mg dropped it markedly in under 5 minutes. Being Hexahydrate version of MgCl, and flakes rather than powder it was probably only around 50mg of actual Mg. This I thought was pretty impressive, but he said within about an hour the blood pressure returned to its previous level (he's still on medication at this point, so that may skew the numbers). Has anyone else done any tests using Mg for their BP, and did they find similar, or could it be expected to improve or stay normal for longer after a period of time loading, and did larger doses produce a stronger effect, or a longer lasting effect? My friend says (I don't know the numbers) that when he's at that BP level he would normally feel very odd, faint, and generally not good, but in this instance he felt just fine which was a surprise. Can BP really be simplified to being a mineral deficiency? He also has BPH, which was the original reason for discussing Mg, but if it can replace what are pretty much all his meds for these two conditions that would be amazing. Re Lipo C, I've been doing some experimentation with different Lecithin brands and Sodium Ascorbate. I can definately take a lot more when encapsulated than raw, but I'm developing a gag reflex with the taste. I used only bottled drinking water, and dissolved the Vit C to saturation, then added the Lecithin, which blended to a fromage frais kind of consistency, which I scooped into the Ultrasonic unit, which after several cycles (480seconds being 1 cycle) it removed the air bubbles and turned to more like maple syrup in look and consistancy. I got sick last week, with flu like symptoms. I was aching all over, no runny nose, but the worst thing is my kidneys were killing me (I should say at this point that we sell MMS12 and normally that would be my choice and that would be the end of it, same day), but in this case because my kidneys were complaining so much I figured my immune system was working just fine and I shouldn't expedite that any further. By day 3 I'd had enough, and decided to use 21g of LET Vit C. It was a struggle to get it down, and it sat in my stomach all day long. By evening it was starting to bubble and I felt that it was going to come out. When it did come out I had sweats, shakes, runny nose you get the picture, but once it was all out, all symptoms resolved within a moment, and been fine ever since. I thought LET was supposed to get into the cells directly, but in this instance it looked like it didn't go anywhere and brought the mountain to mohammed. Does anyone have a better explanation for that? A day or so later my GF was compaining about aching, and that her kidneys were hurting, and wanted me to massage them. I quickly grabbed a bottle of Mg oil that I'd made up and went to work, spraying it extremely liberally over her back and shoulders, way beyond what I thought would absorb. She was soon relaxed and drifted off to sleep. A couple of hours later she said she felt okay, and the next morning she was bouncing off the walls with energy, so I think she got the better solution. There's something good about those chlorides that nobody has figured out yet. I have a picture in my head I want to test once I've rounded up enough guinea pigs to get some serial blood tests with various components and figure out at least part of what's going on. I tried encapsulating magnesium chloride, but it didn't work. I am = taking the magnesium chloride for hypertension and leg cramps, and am = wondering if it would be more effective if it was encapsulated and went = directly into the blood and cells where needed instead of through the = digestive system. Re: CSCS: Liposomal encapsulating others
Not true about ascorbic acid being lethal or even causing illness. Actually, a large majority of the injectable Vitamin C out there on the commercial market is made from ascorbic acid. It is more difficult to find the injectable Vit C made out of sodium ascorbate. So that should tell you some thing about toxicity! This pH thing is blown clear out of proportion. I have used dilute Hydrochloric acid therapy for years to good affect. I inject dilute HCl acid into the blood, iv, and it is superb in treating all types of infections. Just google it! Two MDs in the 1920s perfected this protocol. So don't write that ascorbic acid can kill.
