Hi Donna,
Your pledge was for the MCT Fund (microbial challenge test).
Unfortunately, I got swamped, didn't get useful information and never
got back to the group with an update. No one has sent any money yet,
and, as I promised, shouldn't until we get specific agreement on how the
money will be used. I don't want to stir up a hornets nest, as there
was some debate over raising money and how it should be used. I still
hope to put together a valid testing of home brewed CS. I take
responsibility for not making progress on this to date, and I
apologize. I take it from your message below that your pledge remains
in place. Again I pledge that we will take no money from everyone until
we have a consensus on the testing and its cost.

and asked where she could find info on the CS. I have told her how to
subscribe to the list but does anyone have the url's for any good
sights. Nancy if you read this can you give me yours, I can't seem to
find it.
Also, I think I owe someone $10.00 that I pledged before and have not
sent it out. Please let me know whose list I was on for the donation.
Sorry about the absentmindedness.

Okay, Bob, I can certainly understand why noone will really want to be
making that decision for me. Since it looks like we are way over the mark
on the MCT fund, I hereby rescind my pledge, and I will send Jim and Reid
each $10 immediately.

Thanks Whitney, your support is valued. However, you need
to be the person who decides where your contribution goes.
I don't think anyone else should do it for you unless you
specifically appoint someone to make your decision for you
and are prepared to write a check. If you want to support
Reid and Jim, send them a check now. They'll appreciate
it. If you want to stick with the microbial test, you can
do that too. It's your choice. If you drop out of the MCT
Fund, just let me know.

Mike, your recommendations are all OK with me.
I do want to say that the $20 which I pledged for
microbial testing can be moved wherever it is needed
(to the particle-size measurement or ppm testing projects).

At the start of this, my main thoughts were with the particulate size and
effectiveness, is the size a factor in how well it works. Are we back to having
no real way to discern this measuring process now? or is there still some way
this will be able to be tested. Someone with lots of time would be needed for
the subsequent tests on down from that level. We knowG it works, but the
retailers of CS are telling multiple versions of why THEIR'S works best. We
need to be able to tell ourselves and newcomers needing help the answer to

MCT Fund Hits Target!!!

1998-07-20 Thread Douglas McMurtrie
Congratulations and many thanks to all who pledged to the fund. At this
point I would like to hand off the maintenance of this record to Bob
Wells since he is most likely to be the point of contact for the bio lab
test. I presume that when final costs are fixed and logistics agreed
upon that Bob will email each of us on the pledge record directly with a
snail mail address to send our checks to. Any additional pledges will of
course be most welcome!

As to the free CS assay, since this is being done as a favor, there will
be some constraints as to the number of samples that can be submitted.
Two samples plus the distilled water blank will be all that I can
comfortably ask for so we'll need to factor that in to the equation
here.

Mike, that looked like a pretty reasonable protocol to me. The only part
that I see needing clarification is the silver wire source. That should
be specified with a company name, address, and phone number provided.
Everything else should be available at the local Radio Shack.

MCT Fund Update

1998-07-10 Thread chc
For CHC and any other newcomers:
We are collecting pledges to handle the cost of laboratory testing of CS

at different concentrations against different pathogens

Are we talking about in petri dishes? Like doing Lab Culture
Sensitivity studies??? Who will do the tests?

Thanks for the clarification guys. I am just trying to get up to speed.

Does anyone know, or has anyone read anything about HOW the CS works?

Colloidal Silver was used for years for different problems, infections,
diseases, etc, do you think dosage and treatment info would be available
in archives somewhere
Does anyone have any ideas about this???.

Thank you in advance.

For George Martin:
I agree that knowing the blood levels vs the ingested levels would be
very valuable info. Maybe after this is done we could have a volunteer
take a very specific dose on a daily basis for a month then have their
blood tested for CS levels. I would be more than happy to serve as the
guinea pig myself.
