Re: CS>Blood vessel health - Vit C and corn
No Paula, he is really healthy according to the doctors tests etc., he has normal blood pressure, sugar, cholesterol is a bit low I think, liver tests everything is what they call 'normal' so it is even more puzzling. Thank you for your suggestion. I have a friend who had that problem a laser solved it, since the bleed was always in the same place. You are probably right Chuck, and the Vit C - lysine thing was supposed to be Linus Paulings recommended protocol. I suppose it is the old adage i.e. What suits one, will not suit another. Oh dear, I thought Wayne said that Vit C *was* Vit C no matter what type it was! I get mine from Higher Nature which I thought was a good brand. I know that when my husband was having their True Food type, we didn't have any problems, but as soon as I gave him the 1000mg one with lysine, he had a bleed in the eye. Back to the drawing board I suppose. I have found a bioflavonoid in the cupboard though, that I bought a while ago. It is grapeseed extract which is supposed to be good for this condition. Any views? Rowena - Well I was told that Vit C would also strengthen blood vessels but as I said, this only seemed to make things worse. I have no idea why, other than it is a natural blood thinner and maybe this caused leakage in a weakened area. I believe the vit c I used had added bioflavinoids. Thanks for input. Dee
