  You can modify the behavior of this addon using css:

  It has been working for me for years (on Debian)...

  You can try adding this line:

#expandedHeaderView * { font-size: 12pt; }

  ... to your Stylish addon (or to your userChrome.css file), and play
there with the size...

  I think some settings in css exist but it also affects other panels

  I had similar problems two months ago (I use seamonkey 2.49.1).
Additionally, the addon did not work properly, so I went back to Remove

  I once had a similar problem. It was solved by the addon session manager:

  I fear that this behavior can not be controlled using CSS styles.
It's probably a matter of individual servers and how seamonkey to work
with them...
  I also see slight differences in behavior for IMAP accounts (gmail,
g-suite, courier-imaps and other), RSS feeds and USENET NEWS accounts
(mozilla.org, gmane.org, eternal-september.org).

  I read again (and *carefully*) your message, and I think that this
style will better fit your needs:

 -(Cut)-
treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text(folderNameCol, biffState-NewMail,
isServer-true)
{
font-weight: bold !important;
color: red !important;
}

treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text(newMessages-true)
{
font-weight: bold !important;

 -(Cut)-

  The first part will change colour of account names with new messages,
the second part will change colour of the names of each folder with new
unread messages...

  No, it has nothing to do with user.js
As already wrote WaltS48, you need to use addon Stylish, or you can add
these lines to file userChrome.css in your seamonkey_profile/chrome/
folder (but I personally recommend rather use this addon - it has many
advantages, including the fact that you do not have to restart seamonkey
after each change - style changes take effect immediately)...

  Simply install the addon Stylish, go to about:addons page, select new
"User Styles" section, click to "Write New Style" button, and copy here
the lines from my original message (and save it). From now, you should
see the name of the folder with the new messages in red...

There is a section called "Choose how to display Open With items" --

  Thank you for your help, very appreciate it!

  Unfortunately I have in this (and in the previous) version of addon
problems with kludges in headers of messages - some kludges lacking
appropriate values (f.e.: Subject, Date, Path, User-Agent, etc...,
although in the actual message header they are listed:

https://al-ribat.6in4.net/~nazir/tmp/stanio-mnenhy-all_3.png

  If the addon is disabled, everything is displayed without problems:

https://al-ribat.6in4.net/~nazir/tmp/stanio-mnenhy_disabled-normal.png
https://al-ribat.6in4.net/~nazir/tmp/stanio-mnenhy_disabled-all_1.png

  For SeaMonkey 2.46 I used a new profile without the old settings...

SeaMonkey 2.38: white numbers on pink background

2015-09-27 Thread Petr Voralek
   Hello!

  In the new version of Seamonkey began to appear white numbers in the
upper left corner of the Seamonkey windows, menus, and the pull-down menus:

only in fresh new profile.

  Do you have some ideas what the heck is that, and how do I get rid of
it (without having to use a new profile)?

 I tried through Navigator window, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
 I'm trying to set up new profile with imap account and there is no way
 to add security exception for the imap server.

  As I said, I entered into the SeaMonkey Navigator urlbar FQDN of my
IMAP/SMTP server (mail.XXX.cz:993 and mail.XXX.cz:465). Then was opened
a window, where I could allow an exception for a certificate (which was
not possible from MailNews part, because the buttons are shadowed and
inactive [similarly, as in your case]).
  I'm sorry if this workaround does not work in your case (Perhaps also
affects that in my case on the same FQDN runs and webmail? I'm not sure)...

  This is much better (does not affect the browser sidebar, etc):

1) install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/stylish/ addon

2) go to about:addons - User Styles, click to Write New Style button

3) copy paste these two long lines:

#folderTree treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text {font-size: 12pt

Subscribing to the feed using SeaMonkey News Blogs

2012-01-06 Thread Petr Voralek
   Hello!

  I tried to add an RSS feed to SeaMonkey NB (from menu Bookmarks -

but without any reaction. Add RSS feed to Google Reader from the same
site works (Subscribe to this feed using: Google) as well as manually
add rss feeds to SeaMonkey NB (mailnews window - BN Feeds - Manage

  It is only my problem, or is this behavior also met someone else?

  Starting with version 2.6 SeaMonkey does not use (when is busy (f.e.

used the second or third cursor in the row over this window (KDE System
settings)).

  Someone else has a similar cosmetic problems (on linux, kde, or on

quote folding

2010-03-14 Thread Petr Voralek
   Hello!

  I am Looking for an extension, which can pack (and re-expand
on-demand) quoted text in mailnews window.

  I mean something like the code folding in text editor Kate (or
UltraEdit, IIRC)...

  In recent years has significantly worsened the behavior of many users
of Usenet and email, they can not properly quote the text, which
themselves respond. It's very annoying for me...

  I remember with nostalgia at the age of FidoNet. In those days
spirits were brave, the stakes were high, men were real men, women were
real women, small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were real small
furry creatures from Alpha Centauri, and people cleaned before sending a
response excessive quoted text...

  Today, you can normally see the messages containing ten pages of
quote, and one line with answer... :(
