Hello MAU,

M The new Statistics tab added to the filter properties is a nice idea. Is
M there, or will there be, any way to reset to 0 the statistics for
M specific filters? Otherwise it may not be that useful.

Actually filter statistics is correct for that session only, since
saving is too expensive operation to be done every time it was
tested/triggered.

Hello Allie,

AM However, when I ran the test at work multiple times, TB!

AM with the server.

Problem is not only in server, but in collaboration with such server.
As I wrote before, only server I know which correctly supports
multiple connections is BatPost. It allows access to the same mailbox
from simultaneous connections without any problems. Other servers do
not allow such features so TB! performs heuristic client-side folder
locking. Since every server has own opinion about how to handle such
simultaneous requests, it is not so easy to find the best pattern to
queue requests.

AM Additionally at work, messages frequently don't load and I

Yes, all 'new' things get old with time. Maybe you should think about
changing the name of this option. Perhaps something like Use newest
date in thread when sorting by date

And another suggestion. Perhaps this option should be disabled (greyed
out) if not sorting by date.

You must increase timeout to your SMTP server (Account - Properties -
 Transport - Server timeout)

MC What's a good value? (120? 180? any probs for going too far?)

My value = 180, but you value can be more...

You're asking me hard questions here. :) I don't know how to make the
difference between a correct and incorrect request. I don't know.

Set up another IMAP session log dump that reaches 1GB in one day? I'm
hoping not.

Hmm, that new thread sorting is about an year old :)

Sence of it is quite simple - when sorting by date threads and
sub-threads are sorted by *newest* message in the thread. Screen
attached. As you can see, recent modified thread comes to the
surface, even first message is older

It was ignored in new message list in last pre-betas.

But it only works with Descending order, not the other way, i mean, the
ascending order which I prefer to use.
