[Ubuntu-BR] Notificador de Atualizações
Amigos, bom dia. de alguns dias para cá meu update-notifier, embora devidamente configurado nos programas iniciais (sessões), deixou de funcionar automaticamente. Ou seja, ao iniciar meu sistema mesmo que atualizações de segurança tenham sido liberadas não estou sendo notificado pelo update-notifier representado pelo icone da área de notificações do meu painel como normalmente deve ser e antes perfeitamente funcionava. [Ubuntu-BR] Linux não funcionou no HD
Boa tarde a todos! Espero que alguém possa me ajudar. Agradeço a todos que responderam, em especial ao André Cavalcante e Aldo, e vou tentar agora mostrar os arquivos que obtive. Ainda não reinstalei o Linux e por isso estes dados são obtidos apenas do live CD. Deu uma baita dor de cabeça fazer o Windows XP voltar a dar o boot, refazendo a MBR depois que desentalei o Grub. Tenho os arquivos lspci, /etc/X11/org.conf e Xorg.0.log que obtive do Live-Cd para postar aqui se isso ajudar a identificar o problema, mas são arquivos longos. Tem jeito de postá-los aqui? Meu monitor é um Sansung SyncMaster 753v de 17 polegadas. Meu PC é um Pentium IV 2,4 Gh, 1 Gb de RAM, placa de video ATI Randeon 9600, com dois HDs de 40 Gb. Depois de um dia inteiro encima do problema acabei detectando ,através
de um script(qfixq), que a fila estava corrompida. Utilizei o mesmo
script para arrumar e o qmail voltou a funcionar da maneira esperada.

Pessoal, Acabo de configurar o kopete para o google talk e o msn, mas quando fui teclar com alguém, ele bagunçou as letras. O a virou 4, o e virou 3 o t virou 7 e o o virou 0. Desta forma quando escrevi Fala Roberto apareceu isto na tela: F4|4 R0b3R70 Quando uso o Gaim tudo funciona bem. Configurei o Kopete pq uso o kubuntu. Alguém já passou por isso? Falando nisso, eu também gostaria muito de conseguir configurar meu modem. Quando eu dou um lspci | grep Communication, recebo um 3Com Corp, Modem Division USR 56k Internal WinModem. Daí dá pra saber se o meu modem é soft ou hard? E dá pra saber o chipset? Enfim, como eu faço pra instalar esse troço? Valeu Funcionou. O lamer talk e o ondas veio habilitado por default. O que é uma pena. Muita gente deve deixar de usar o kopete por isso. [Ubuntu-BR] Montagem automatica parou!!

[Ubuntu-BR] Ligacao entre Linux Ubuntu, Eclipse e plugin Cobol.
Prezados Ubundistas. Estou tendo um pequeno ploblema com um plugin cobol para o eclipse. o plugin para Cobol que achei foi: http://www.eclipse.org/cobol/ , tanto para Linux como para ruimwindows. o eclipse que estou usando eh a versao 3.0.1: http://archive.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/index.php , tanto para linux como para ruimwindows. No ruim windows depois de instalado e configurado, funcionou corretamente, mas qdo passei para o LINUX UBUNTU, a instalacao tanto do JDK qdo do ECLIPSE, com suas devidas configuracoes, tambem funcionaram perfeitamente, pois testei com um pequeno projeto Java do tipo Alo MUNDO mas quando instalei o plugin cobol no Eclipse para LINUX UBUNTU. Na instalacao ocorreu tudo bem, mas qdo fui executar o plugin cobol o eclipse simplesmente travou. Tanto a versao do eclipse qto a do pluguin cobol eh a mesma que se encontra na pagina: http://www.eclipse.org/cobol/. Sera que voces poderiam me ajudar a resolver este pequeno entrave. É. eu também verifiquei isso, mas o problema é um pouco mais fundo. é uma questão de versão. a versão que está disponível normalmente por apt-get não é compatível com a versão necessária para usar o pacote compilado. Mas o problema não é tão grande quanto parece. As diferenças de versão são ridículas, tipo: 3:3.3.6 e é necessário 3:3.3.7. Sendo assim, mesmo com o devido problema, é possível executar e usar o pdfedit. Agora, isso atrapalharia todo o funcionamento do gerenciador de pacotes. Dessa forma, é interessante observar que até onde eu sei, eu posso forçar a instalação dizendo que deve ignorar o pacote. O problema é que isso não resolveu comigo, mas é possível, só tenho que me lembrar como... seria: sudo dpkg --force-all -i pdfedit*.deb Em todo caso, eu estou com o pdfedit funcionando mesmo com o desvio do valor da versão, ainda que com a perda do gerenciador de pacotes, o que é inadmissível... Eu estou pensando seriamente em descompactar o .deb e editar as dependências dele manualmente. Mas se alguém lembrar de alguma forma mais simples eu sou todo ouvidos ... J. F. João, eu fiz a instalação forçada que você sugeriu (sudo dpkg --force-all -i pdfedit*.deb) e o terminal realmente acusou a diferença na versão: dpkg: pdfedit: dependency problems, but configuring anyway as you request: pdfedit depends on libqt3-mt (= 3:3.3.7); however: Version of libqt3-mt on system is 3:3.3.6-3ubuntu3. Após a instalação, o programa realmente rodou, mas não foi capaz de abrir a grande maioria dos PDFs que eu tenho aqui (abriu, aproximadamente, um em cada dez). Além disso, pouco depois o Update Manager do Ubuntu apareceu aqui no painel pedindo para que eu executasse um sudo apt-get install -f (não sei pra que cargas d'água), o que resultou na desinstalação do PDFedit. Temos progresso, mais ainda não vencemos a batalha! :) Agradeço muito a ajuda! насколько я понял изначальный дистр такой функции не содержит. Можно взять дистрибутив Mint, который на основе Убунты сделан. Pour vectoriser des bitmap (des images d'équation en particulier), Inkscape le fait très bien (si la lib potrace est installée; disponible dans les dépôts) avec l'outil Path-Trace Bitmap (le nom peut être différent sur une installation d'ubuntu en français ...) Perso je pense à une faute de frappe dans le #include stdio.h, je m'explique : // tu utilises les guillemets pour linker un header en mettant son chemin : #include mon_header.h // tu utilises les chevrons pour linker un header standard que gcc sait trouver... normalement stdio.h en fait partie : #include stdio.h Je pense que tu as utilisé des guillemets au lieu des chevrons, donc gcc cherche une stdio.h dans le répertoire où tu compiles. Et ce n'est pas une erreur stupide, ça arrive les fautes comme ça :) Clems. Je suis sous ubunty edgy, et je voudrais que nagios m'envoi certaines alertes
par sms, j'ai installé gnokii pour l'envoi sms et ça marche très bien avec la
commande

impression GIF
bonjour, J'ai installé la version 6.06 Lts d'Ubuntu. Tout s'est déroulé sans problème. C'est Ubuntu qui s'est installé en fait.. L'imprimante est une Brother laser HL-2040, le pilote recommandé est celui de la HL2060, il est compatible. Cette imprimante est installée en locale. Je charge régulièrement des fichiers indiquant la position passée ou future des isobares au niveau de la mer. Ces cont des fichier .gif 1074*864 pixels. (les tiff, même chose pour la suite) Lorsque le clique pour les afficher, c'est Eye of GNOME 2.14.3 qui s'en charge. L'option imprimer appelle CUPS/HL2060 et sort un magnifique rectangle noir., Gthumb 2.7.6 de même mais le rectangle est plus petit. Lorsque je passe par la console, lpr -P HP2060 fichier.GIF, l'imprimante imprime la carte.. Avez vous une solution pour ce cas.?? Merci d'avance. je n'ai pas les permissions necessaire pour ouvrir mon point de montage
Bonjour je suis newbie sur ubuntu!! voici mon probleme: je suis en dual boot entre Vista et ubuntu, j'aimerais avoir acces à mon disque dure externe qui est en NTFS à partir d'ubuntu. j'ai créé un point de montage de mon hdd externe, qui est bien reconnu!! Le problème vient de la gestion de la transparence avec des gif ou des png. L'impression en direct ou avec gThumb donne un magnifique rectangle noir. On peut les placer dans une page openoffice draw ou bien dans inkscape ou bien dans Firefox Je ne sais pas à quelle entité signaler ce problème. Pour plus de sécurité on peut se contenter d'un accès en lecture seulement avec le pilote ntfs ou bien créer une mini partition en fat32. I think I'm having a problem related to this bug. My ATI X1400 is not detected correctly. X tries to use the the ati driver, but when it starts something is not correct. The mouse appears as a diagonal line, everything is stretched diagonally so far as to be unreadable. I have spoken too early. This problem is triggered because update-manager does not recognize your mirror. I tag this for better to see if the mirror algorithm can be improved. Adding : libata pata_jmicron ata_piix ahci ata_generic to my /etc/initramfs-tools/modules and running : update-initramfs -u did the job !! You know what ? I'm happy ! I can confirm this. The fix worked for me on my Gigabyte 965P-DS3.
