Re: [SOGo] Thunderbird 91, SOGo Connector

2021-10-13 Thread Florian Unger

I gave up waiting for a release from the SOGo team long ago.
Since Thunderbird 78 I use the addons generated by the HU-Berlin
https://kal.hu-berlin.de/plugins/

and modify them for my calendar server URL.
With those I am a happy user of TB78 and now TB 91.

Best regards
Florian

Hi,

just to note it here, I opened a feature request on Mozillas/MZLAs
bugzilla a while ago for the address list feature:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1668791

Maybe it is better to push it there even if not for the feature itself
but an API enhancement to allow plugins more interactions?

Greetings,

Yes, it is, but this does not seem to be the problem, as there are no

have to investigate further, it seems.

I found the solution: restarting Thunderbird seems to do the trick and
forces a login popup. This was not the case with previous versions,
IIRC, so I did not restart every time. Sorry for not trying this sooner,
but now it works fine, thank you for your time and input.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, we did this, of course, too. I did not
mention it before since it is one of the necessary steps according to
the README. But in our case, it won't ask for user credentials at all,
unless we also add the before-mentioned line.

For us it works without this. But we customize sogo-connector.baseURL in

If you open the "Proterties" menu of an addressbook "Read Only" is
ticked and not changeable (even with the personal AB of that user)

If you open the "Sharing" dialog for an AB or a calendar "Any
Authenticated User" has all rights ticket (which are not there in the
Webui). Even "Public Access" has al rights granted. I you click on
"Public Access" (AB or Calendar) this error is logged:
