Wibo,
You probably already know this, but there's a couple of 'Z' tracks on the
DJ Rolando/Aztec Mystic mix cd. Don't know the titles offhand...

Is he even at Mo' Wax anymore? I'm pretty sure he was on his way out, but
maybe some of the releases he supervised are still trickling out. I think
he went to XL Recordings or to a new label, leaving Mo' Wax basically a
corporate shill...

I wouldn't recommend that one ... three quarters of it is less than stellar
West coast G-style hip-hop, not anything approximating electro or bass.
What the hell is Lavelle smoking anyway?

be the how it sounds in the Drexciyan kingdom)
and 'Universal Element' (I just love the way this track is

you are not going to find the silvers for less than $89. the all black ones
and the all silver ones are exactly the same. the ones to get are the night
clubs (the black and yellow ones). although, they are rather pricey. if you
don't scratch at all i would just get Trackmasters. those are overal

Hey Wibo,
I think the 'Z Tracks' are basically UR produced tracks for the UR DJs to
play out, and not meant for public release.
Nick
Sorry for the off-topic, but does anyone have Syntax Distributor's fone/fax

Occasionally I hear something about the "Z-tracks" that Rolando is doing for
UR. "Z" is supposed to be even rarer than UR's SID releases. Has anyone more

Smallfish has some Twilight 76, Godfather type stuff. Honest Johns in
Portobello Road has (had?) some DJ Assault 12"s.
But thats pretty much all you can get here in terms of Detroit electro/booty
stuff and you're lucky if you can get those...
There just doesn't seem to be a market for electro
Surprisingly enough, I haven't seen anything mentioned about the new
kraftwerk release to celebrate the opening of some expo in Germany. It's
an airy sounding funky track with all the kraftwerk ingredients (high Q
snare, vocoder voices). I've heard someone mention that there's a whole
new album
