Who was it that was doing some sort of academic work on women making
techno? bekka?
Anywho, I came across a pretty nice site. I like the design, and it's not
perhaps as perfectly underground as humanly possible, but who cares.
They do a spot on one of my musical heros, Nicole Elmer, too.
Yeah. It was Bekka. I'm pretty sure she's still subbed up. I know her last
project is finished, but there may be more to come???
Bekka - You should post the results of your last study.

Hi people,
Right, I've got this tape mixed by Derrick May at Simon's in Gainsville (I
believe 1998), somewhere around 50min he plays 'Silvery Sounds' by Sound Of K
on Fcom, right after that he plays this track which is kinda the ultimate party
track: a kind of jazzy, big band bass line and
Mick Huckaby's name comes up here a lot and I was wondering if you could
tell us what he is like as a DJ and what he has done in the studio as I
would love to know - he is coming out here I believe. I know he works or has
worked at Record Time.
Cheers

be in one of the rooms at Fabric (Hype, Zinc and other DB types in
the other room).
And then Stacey Pullen along with Terry Francis and Craig Richards

Gemini is just so much fun - he is one in a million that guy, on the decks
he has heaps of personality, immaculate taste musically, too. He is making a
return visit after a few weeks ago. He plays deep. You feel his presence in

Gene is fantastic too - he plays kinda more tech-y house

Not to disrespect your exception, but I intended to comment on my overall
impression on the CD. Personally, I don't care how it was accomplished -
it sounds very good and is a great bargain. Aaron's mixes always function
as nice samplers for thevinyl-poor and they accomplish quite well what

I wrote Gwendal something a little longer, but in essence my recommendations
are some of the Assault and Godfather tracks, a large helping of Aux 88
