The convextion releases are great, but it's not by
Sean. I also hear there are upcoming releases by
Convextion coming out on a label called down low
music. ;)
Are you really sure it is not by Sean?
At smallfish they said it was Sean Deason.. but anyway..
haha...no they are wrong.

Come On Now Baby from the Detroit: Beyond the Third Wave comp is my
favorite K Hand track ever. Really slamming dancefloor production and a
gritty, nagging vocal hook. I've got some of her other stuff, including the
new LP on Tresor, and haven't really heard anything I liked as much as that.

#7 Underworld 'Born Slippy' and #9 The Prodigy 'Firestarter'.
Jaguar would definitely get the #1 vote on my list. Another recent one

Well, considering I barely spin happy hardcore, here:

Many years ago I went to the funeral of a friend who died at the age of 18.
They played 'Song to the Siren' by This Mortal Coil in the church. It was
astonishing, just extraordinary. A few weeks ago, I went to a wedding in
Ireland and it accompanied the bride into the chapel. And it worked.

Is Axis 09 by Jeff Mills (originally distributed only via Hardwax in Germany
apparently) worth getting? Track description/rating anyone?

Hello!
Which one do you mean? There's a Axis 009 and a Axis 009b...
Axis 009b is released much later and is called More drama.
If you are Mills-addicted like me ;-) I think you need them both.
Not the best releases of him but worth a check in every case!

Dear detroit techno lovers,
1 simple question:
on wich ep was Designer Music - Good Girls released?
I have the vol2 (the truth / problemz) and I have the vol. 1 on cd, but it
´s not on the cd either.. maybee the vinyl of designer music vol. 1 is
different than the cd version?
Greets,
Maarten
here`s my 2 cents.
my defenition of techno (when people ask me what i spin thats what i
answer) is music with some sort of feeling. innovative and kool. i know that
as a genere TECHNO was created in detroit. i love detroit - but i think good
music (or techno) is created in many other places.

Good girls was released on Designer Music vol. 1. It was originally
only released to Planet E subscribers back in the day. To my
