Hi list,
We now have a picture gallery of the Ten Days Off festival up at
Technotourist.org Ten Days Off actually runs for 11 days during the annual
summer festivities in Ghent. The line-up is very strong and varied; it brings
the best of different currents in electronic dance music. We were

Look, it's Sven Väth! Oh no, wait, it's Richie!
A friend told me yesterday that some guys managed to have an organic remix of
various songs, including Lou Reed's Perfect day, by pouring sugar on the CD,
then exposing it to the sun to let moss grow on it... apparently the result is
very nice, since moss grows in a fractal way, thus

It's not an alias for anyone else as far as I know...
Here's his discog: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Pepe_Bradock
Here's his label's site:
I suppose Pepe Bradock is an alias in the sense that it's not his real name,
which is Pepe Bradick.
BTW, still love his 'Get Down Dub' of 'Angola' It has just got better over
the months, to me.

'Deep Burnt' is a track on the entitled 'Burning'. The other tracks are 'The
Right Way and 'Burning Hot.' I've only ever played those once and lost count
of the amount of times I've ever played (or heard) 'Deep Burnt'. *And* it's
still wicked! I only wish more players would mess abt with it in its

Doing a bit of record shopping this weekend I found two issues of the 80s
UK magazine called Debut - it comes with a 12 record as well
they're pretty damn cool from a pop history perspective - lots of early/mid
80s bands that either became international hits or bands that I've never
heard of
I'm pretty damn surprised nobody's been talking about this. The
Paxaahau Five Year Kompakt Party (Three Parties in One!) totally went
off in Detroit last weekend. Haven't raved (yes, I raved) like that in
years.

I haven't seen Detroit dance like that in a long while.
Big ups to Paxacrew and to the people that came out and had a great time.
For those that weren't there:
The party started off at Times Square Detroit, which normally caters to
shiny shirts and sequins. Michel Mayer was playing some
oh yeah,

I felt the same way when I heard them in Barcelona, Reinhard has so much
energy and knows how to move the crowd. He's my number one live set as of
late. Did he get down and dirty, take his shirt off and go moshing in the
crowd? Yeahhh...
They also had a 5 yr anniversary party in barcelona,
sadly I missed this event I did however, catch the
motor reunion on friday night, and was slightly
disappointed to find that they had to move the event at the
last minute from motor to the tangent gallery. it was
pretty nice to walk in and have stacey pullen kicking azz
downstairs and tp
No, but a friend told me that he was swinging from the rafters there for
a bit! :) I hope someone got a good close-up snapshot of that.

Sounds like it wasn't quite as exciting as the Paxahau party, but Theo
played another wicked set at Plastic People on Saturday. Not the best I've
seen him, but I danced my ass off for about 3 hours. Left around 3 to get up
to no good (there was still a line outside). Not sure what followed that.
