Hi AFAIK Sägezahn refers to first of course the waveform secondly a revival of a certain german(?) sound from 94(?); since the first Strass record (by MikeInk) on FIM in 98 it has kind of exploded, at least in germany, and has become a sub-genre, exploited especially by Heckmann and FIM but
