I think you'd have to be a female to understand the pressures on us - and
it's a scourge of Western capitalist societies. At least Aussie girls can
get away with bad nails. That's a requisite in the US, for women to have

Techno is club-focussed now here. Good techno is in clubs. Rave is dead
here. Or the still extant raves are for hard dance, hard NRG, trance,
etc.
Even then people dress up, just in bunny suits, etc. Two
sneakers and street gear...
