Word on the street is that Theo had dropped off four new Sound
Signature white labels at various Detroit record shops for the DEMF
weekend. Any reports as to what these are like?
Had the chance to see him play 2 months ago here in Portugal, and from
the chat we had I can confirm there's new stuff and the one he wrecked
was one of the highlights on his set. He described it to me as a joint
of different piano layers. Also I catched this mix today of Kyle Hall in

One of them is titled something and is the track featured in that
adidas video from a couple years ago. Another has an acid track. I
didn't pick any of them up due to their high price and scarcity, and
now regret it.

thanks, frank. i guess we're in the same boat - i saw SS 040 at
submerge for a steep price and decided to pass on it as well.
has anyone else seen these white labels with spraypainted coverwork
sold anywhere outside of submerge or melodies @ memories?

yeah, that podcast looks ace from the tracklisting. i wasn't too
impressed with kyle's set at the festival, tbh.

well
It's a little all over the place to say the least- it might be
classed as experimental but it did sound a little like the guy's
cat was walking up and down his Synth keyboard randomly triggering
noises at times.
cheers

yeah, I like his stuff, but I'll be f**ked if I know where I'm up to with
them. I keep finding them in my room oh I didnt know I had that.

exactIy. I listened to 6 records in a row and bought 1. there's some
really nice, dirty numbers amidst it all but I think the seer amount of
them makes it hard for any single record to stand out.
will probably end up scrambling around for the ones
agreed re the amount of records todd for sure!
it is a little bit difficult to keep up - there's so much other good stuff
around that you can only by so much stuff by one artist
I agree. I wonder if he'll be considered one of the next Theo's or
Kenny's because of his rawness.. Although there

track with the kids chanting and clapping. nice groove
yesterday I said whites are circulating of the new Sound Signature #17... this
was a mistake, the whites are actually SS #18... sorry bout that. Which brings
up the question what happened to # 17 ?
Anyway after some time to digest it, a quickie review:
A side is a long fairly uptempo cut that
Well that's wet my apetite! Where exactly would these be circulating, or is
that for me to find out ??

I'm not sure, this one was from Record Time. Inquire at your local shop?
But of comparison, Gramaphone in Chicago had many white label copies of SS-017
before the label ones dropped and

I visited the Sound signature site for the first time today. Most of you

not lucky enough to have a good Sound Signature collection but that love
that Theo sound, there's a surprisingly large selection of full length

Jason,
I don't have Theo's contact information off hand but I don't believe
that he does any kind of retail sales. I may be wrong though. To the
best of my knowledge, I do believe that the new sound signiture LP/CD is
not out yet. Should be real soon and as soon as I see them in the mail ,
Can anyone supply me with contact info for Sound Signature? I keep trying
to e-mail them at the e-mail address listed on the Summertime Is Here EP
but haven't gotten a response.
Seems kind of silly to me that they don't make their CDs more available.
There certainly seems to be adequate demand.
Anyone have any clue as to where to grab these in Detroit? They were
actually in the tent with Theo's table @ DEMF. I went in to buy them, but
they were only taking cash. I asked them if they'd be there later, they
said yes. 4 hours later I came back with the cash, but the Theo table
was gone and
