ADAM Bind

If you used the correct bind string (DN/upn), the
second most likely issue of an Invalid Credentials error on bind is a bad

If, for instance,
you want to enable logging of all queries then you want to set the
Diagnostics\15 Field

Has anyone had any success with logging
inefficient and/or expensive searches in ADAM?
I’ve tried following the suggestions
shown in the link below, but substituting “NTDS” with the name of
the ADAM instance in the registry settings (e.g. ADAM_Instance1).

ADAM seems to have an all or nothing approach to account policies if you are in a domain. Either you get the domain policies or you get no policies (by setting ADAMDisablePasswordPolicies=1). If you are in a workgroup, you get the local policies. But is there any way to get only the local policies
