Heard LiFePO is the best for island-systems now. Should do more cycles and should allow to do deeper cycles without degrading. So smaller batteries should be possible which saves space and money. Von: Af [mailto:af-boun...@afmug.com] Im Auftrag von Harold Bledsoe Gesendet: Donnerstag, 31.

We are getting one from an auction that came off an old cricket site. Its output is 27.6v @ 6Kw I am using forrest's Generator control to help with a homemade transfer switch. The configuration will be a little complex on doing this but I can make it work with little effort. On 8/30/2017

This. We do systems like this as well using Cenga: http://www.cengapower.com/ If you are doing pure backup, AGM is hard to beat because of zero maintenance, lower cost, and low cycles involved with backup only. If you want to island or go off-grid with part of the house with daily cycling, the

Yup, just tried one. 100% confirmed w/ a Rev i SB12. Turned on UGPS power on one of the 450i APs and now it sees the data. I don't remember if I wired the RJ12 with 1,2,3&6 or just 1,3&6 on that one. Knowing me, since I knew the SB12 can't take UGPS power anyway, I probably left pin 2 disconnec

If you get a chance, try turning the uGPS power on on one of the non-uGPS powered ones... Should be perfectly safe, since there isn't anything attached to that pin on the syncbox 12's. I'm glad to hear that data is working. I've been so saturated with this rackinjector project that I haven't h

Cool to hear GPS+GLONASS coming. 15.0.3 or 15.1 fixed the 450i GPS data. I forget which one. I'm now running 15.1.1 on all 900 450i sectors. And I have some that don't display the data. I had a suspicion that it had something to do with UGPS power since the ones that don't work are on boxes wi

I've had a chance tonight to spend some time validating a new GPS receiver with which adds GLONASS. Looking good w/much better sensitivity. Those of you who have been mentioning the desire for this don't have long to wait - 30 days or so, really depends on how long the GPS module stock lasts here
