the PTP800 ODUs are Remec rectangular, but the Trango dish is Remec

That issue (IDU/ODU cable) is a pain to diagnose. Look at the 'Link Loss'
diagnostic graph. Brief 'sky blue' segments at the top of the graph show up
when the OFU drops offline briefly. No real way I have found to tell which
end it is.
As far as fixing it I would inspect cables for visibl

It drops when it rains or is foggy and I’m trying to pin down why it is
dropping. My guess is the coax has a poor seal on it.
Is there any way to tell if the modem is losing communication with the RF head?

Chuck,
Not in the licensed point-to-point bands (4,6,10.5,11,18,23 GHz). You would
need to go to 24,28,31, or 38 GHz and lease from one of the "area" license
holders.

They are going to need to get into the PTP800.Getting the fiber port to
carry traffic requires a configuration change in the radio - you have to tell
it what port you want it to use for data.
The PTP800’s also have “Rapid Link Shutdown”, though Cambium calls it something
else. If configur
