Unfortunately for me , I have no such controls on alsa-mixer. All
I get that represents Line jack is Line option and I can change
the volume and make it the capture device by using spacebar ,
and ofcourse I can mute and inmute the card .. There is nothing
else that I can do on line ...

for those who have been following my attempt to get midi working on my
Mandrake 9.0 system.
I notated a song in noteedit and I clicked save as tse song and then
play tse song. MY keyboards diplay started displaying information that

yes, try either -A option or -e -D 1 (or -D 2) option.

xmms, so maybe thats my problem. but i've tried fooling with the
