Last night we repolarized the magnet on AO-51 to again favor the
northern hemisphere. There may be some rapid fading as the nutation
dampers do their job over the next few weeks. The command team
appreciates all the reports and observations during this experiment.

FO-29 hits a certain set point the satellite turns off. By design it
should turn back on when the voltage recovers, but that part is

Sometime between 1830Z and 2000Z today, AO-51 suffered a software crash.
Thanks to K8YSE for the early heads up. Mark, N8MH and myself restarted
and started reloading the software required to run the repeater. Until
this is finished, I ask that everyone refrain from transmitting to the
satellit

running just the normal V/U repeater, with PL enabled, and the power
management software running. The power management routine adjusts the
power output in three stages based on illumination state and battery
voltage. Tonigh

http://oscar.dcarr.org/ . Of particular interest are reports between
10:45 and 11:29 today. We may need a few passes to get the scheduling
working right, so please send those reports, and bear with us.
