It seems that ARRL finally brought together a team of crack software
engineers to edit the satellite config file in Logbook of the World so it
would accept QSO's made on HO-68. Unfortunately, it looks they did not
have enough keystrokes available to also add SO-67. Perhaps next year...
Sorta on the same order as the 432mhz ground station terrestrial stations
messing with AO-7 in mode B. There though we are blessed with extra bandwidth
on the linear translator vs single channel FM repeater. HO-68 is a PITA to
work on FM for me, but great linear bird.

All capable of Full Duplex operation, all with BNC antenna connections. Only

I wasn't aware of that. Guess the fact that it didn't do dual receive or have
dual displays fooled me. In that case, I think the Icom T21A would also work
as it will do full duplex, but can't transmit on 70cm, but it would work in
Mode J. Think the Kenwood TH28A is the same.
A couple on his list are not full duplex, like the Icom 24AT, and I don't think

rling was on the AO-7 pass today but
there were not many takers in North America. He did work
WC7V which was his longest distance ever on AO-7.
Look for Erling on AO-7 on Sunday when it is back in Mode B.

passes will be recorded.
I look forward to giving out a lot of needed grids. Hopefully the
equipment will work well throughout the trip.

For those of you who have worked NO5X on the sats, I am sad to inform you that
he became a SK in the past couple of days. I met John twice in person back in
May when buying some equipment from him, and he was a great guy. I will miss
hearing him on the birds.

Patrick, VA7EWK, will be on the AO-7 pass coming
up shortly at 1827-1844 UTC. He'll be looking for any
Europeans that need CN89. AO-7 is in Mode B.
