Which is why they should not re-use numbers for patches. We've harped on
this before. It's confusing to the customer to have multiple versions of
the same things. At least call it 4a or something, though 5 would be ideal.

I honestly got the second BMC Software Customer Support Notice for
Action Request System 7.1.00 Patch 004. and did not even read it
closely enough to see this...
The first one said this:
Announces the release of BMC Remedy Action Request System 7.1.00 Patch 004.
The second one said this:
Okay so according to the release notes it is just the AR Server piece
that needs to be downloaded again and installed? I downloaded and
installed everything else already so I guess I will just do the ARServer
piece again. Thanks. By the way is there anyway to get on that email

have contributed as much, and am very appreciative to you and the entire

BMC told me that a CAI plug-in error's fix is in Patch 008, and then sent
me instructions from patch 007 on how to apply a hotfix. We're on patch
007 - I'm confused as to why we had to hotfix anyway.

Yeah, sure. Just use the ARDBC connector to establish a connection to
your domain controller and then create a vendor form in Remedy that

You can have more than 255 characters in a To: email address. The issue
is there is a bug in the filter notify action process that clips the
