Hi,
Why not try the test-version of RRR|License to verify how well you have
managed to allocate your licenses, and find out the best fixed/floating

RRR|License is automated, and eliminates a complicated manual analysis. I

I did something similar in Remedy to check the status of an LDAP integration.
I ran an escalation against a control record and queried the plug-in form for a
qualifying record. If one was returned, I knew the link was up.

If you stop and restart Remedy on the server do you see errors in the

We have had the problem when migrating that sometimes the field counts

I don't remember if the Issue you're encountering was the same as mine but
its a known issue BMC had a hotfix to resolve it. I'm unaware in what
patch release had they added it.

Folks,
I am trying to line up a job (laid off). I am trying to get an ITSM 7

can tell recruiters I have worked with it. For some reason BMC is
giving me the run around. They can only think I am in the market to buy

I think Dave Easter has been working on this. Don't know the status of the

If your SSO is based on Kerberos I don't know of a way to end the SSO
session without logging out of the computer or manually destroying your
kerberos ticket. Nor can I imagine a world where you'd want that to happen
when you log out of Remedy, so maybe I am being short-sighted too :-)

Hmm - not good. Thanks for the info. I ended up deleting everything related

I'll try the migration to prod, and if I get the same results, I'll do the same
there.
Thanks again,

We ran into problems with existing web services. There was a change in
handling web service namespace at 7.0.1 patch 4. Basically, you need to
have ARS and Midtier both below or above 7.0.1 patch 4 or you may run into
the same trouble.
