dde.ini export to Excel with CSV vs TAB

Excel: things work fine. I tried a simple change to the dde.ini and put in "Format=CSV" but I just got the entire csv file dumped into the first column. Any advice on how to use CSV instead of TAB in the dde.ini (or other advice on how to make the export run cleaner)? thanks -ivan
