A couple of thoughts:
1. Are you using a server group, and possibly the servers are not synching
properly?
2. Are you using a preference server that you are being logged into as well,
and potentially that server still contains the old active link?
Thanks,

In addition to giving Change permission to Public and General Access, do you
also have the field flagged as "Allow any User to Submit"?
If you want to send me the active link off line, I would be happy to take a
look at it as well.

The customized solution is this:
You could change the underlying workflow object to assign it to Help Desk
instead of the submitting group.
Hope that helps,

I have also used flavors of option #1 4 out of 4 times, successfully.
initially, client's thoughts are of course to migrate data into the new

You can create a People Template and assign Permissions, but unfortunately
the People Templates in ITSM do not allow you to attach roles in the
template. This will get you halfway there.
If you have a large amount of People records to create, you may use the data

The compatibility tool on the BMC site does not contain information about
compatibility with the latest versions of Windows (2008) and SQL (2005).
Does anyone know if the matrix is just out of date, or if ARS 7.0 and 7.1
are not compatible with the latest versions?

We are in a server group environment, and our printing server is the vip

did display on the screen so it seems logical to me that it is environment
related.
Log files show that the reports are being queried and look like the
I have not found documentation to explain the Estimated Resolution Date or
the Requried resolution Date on an incident.
I see that the estimated resolution date pulls in the first service target's
goal date, and that you can manually put in a required resolution date on

I've seen this look worse if my printer orientation is set to Portrait

We had to build this exact same thing for a custom application in the past.
We created a form that captured all changes in status by assigned group,
which worked like this:
Time Capture Record is created on first assignment of ticket and logs Group,
Person, Start Date/Time assigned, status, ticket

The 'Responded Date' is actually used for SLM. When an incident is recordedd
