I believe the ITIL process says something about verifying with the
customer that everything is resolved before closing it. That way if there
are still issues, it can be put back into in progress status and continued
to be worked.

I'm trying to connect a form in ARS 7.01 to data in ARS 6 which is located
in a different database. I was able to create a view form to do this, but
none of my field definitions are as they were in the past. Everything is
an integer (like Priority, Case Type, and most importantly the date

Has anyone seen the error "Parameter is Incorrect" when trying to save an
attachment to the work info entry? I have seen this in version 6 and it
just went away. Now I have another user getting this error. He's using
7.01 patch 4 client. It works correctly on the web, just not on the
client

created when an incident is updated? We have a process that is working,
but it is starting to create other problems. I'm curious to see how
others handle this situation.

We are trying to attach documents to the work info for an incident, but we
are getting "Parameter is Incorrect" error when the file is located in the
"My Documents" folder. In our environment, My Documents is mapped to a
network drive. I can attach from any other network drive.

remove I can't remember which) the tabs that we weren't using (like
Financial). We have the RKM tab, SLM and a new Vendor tab that we are
using and it can only be 12.

it takes the tool forever to respond after the save is complete.

That's true. If you set them to User, each user can turn them on or off.
Or if you disable all the notifications that you don't want, that will
work too. We have turned off almost all notifications from within the
system.
