I find that the port numbers vary in the ar.conf file from that in
pluginsvr_config.

Go to BMC Remedy Mid Tier - Configuration Tool -> Log Settings - > Enable Web
Service Logging.
Also, change the plugin log settings to ALL, if you haven't already.

I have created a prototype web service which receives a soap request from
Remedy and then responds with a soap Hellp world message. If I test this is
the SoapUI test tool everything is fine, but with remedy I get the above error.

I set up a demo box for ITSM 7, and I get the error ARERR 8939 when we
try and open the Overview Console or the Problem Management Console. I
looked on the admin client and there is not a Plug-In server configured.
Do I have to configure one? Everything else is all out of the box-

You require 2 upgrade your existing ITSM 7 installation to
patch 4 and ARS server patch 2/3 to get rid of the plugin error. Hope this
