What I want to do is have something trigger my active link - eg
nder table properties, write the criteria you need to specify for searching.
Keep drill down option available on table to open records in new window.
Thnx
Chintan.

I don't have ldap integration. How do I convert it to run the vbscript
on the server? Let's say I have a simple run process command of doing a
ping on
it since you can
see it from the command prompt window if the machine is reachable. Also, I
have another activelink that calls a program we use to remote into the machine
and I use the command line to run the software… Is this do-able on mid-tier?
Thanks again

You can write an activex control to do it, but it will only work on ie.
Just think how infected with viruses your pc would be if remote websites
could run processes on your local pc; it's not allowed for a reason. You
could write a java applet to do it, but you would have jvm issues on the
client

Hi Julio,
The short answer is that you can only trigger filters by submitting or
modifying data. Escalations are timed filters which you basically cannot
force to trigger. Active links are client side workflow objects and cannot
be "triggered" on the server.
But I would recommend you to look at
Hi,
I would like to know if is possible , through an API call, to invoke an
Escalation or a Filter.
Anybody has already tried it?
Thanks a lot!
