The displeasure with the pavailion was prevalant in discussion within
the hotel on July 4th weekend; both staff and guests were talking
about it. I also noticed an item on the last Council Meeting
agaenda Possible litigation: The Empress Hotel, so, I suspect that
it is not a rumor.

second floor and the middle of the building had public restrooms
and a stairwell, lifeguard storage room and electric room and a

I don't think the containers are done! They are all white. They look
nothing like the renderings proposed. Of course, we all how pointless some
renderings can be... But the white container is a pretty far stretch from any
form of the rendering. I think more work is to be done on them.
Downtown is definitely a big part of it, but one thing that many people
doubted is also true. People simply didn't believe that Asbury Park
could be a tourist destination again. Let's be honest here. How many
