I totally agree with your post. Even those who still live here,
can't afford to. Sad, isn't it? The only people who are excited,
are those with a vested interest, have power and money! Like
everything else, money talks! You know the rest. Very fine post,
indeed.

I still can't understand how a small town, like this is the "lure", for
this type of behavior. There are few bars left down on the beach and
the new ones, are too upscale, for these folks. They dress funny, like
they don't belong, so why here? Just curious and I'm glad they're
gone. AP has

nothing until approved by the TRC Planning Board Council and Werner.

It was me Chuck. I'm getting it from City Hall. Did you not notice
the Dispute Resolution Agreement? There was no schedule before then.

Nice post.
I completely agree about preserving the musical legacy that put Asbury on the
map.
Cities like Austin TX get a huge chunk of change every year because of their
SXSW festival.
It seems to be a no brainer to do the same sort of thing right here in AP.
Bring back the concerts on the beach
Dear Friends of Asbury:
As far as the Casino goes, it's probably one of the last recognizable Landmarks left in Asbury Park, and well worth saving. This past summer I have visited Asbury quite a few times, I went to the car show and even walked the Board Walk for the first time since 1973. Its t

Tommy,
You should take a walk down there and look at the drawing.
It looks pretty wonderful to me.
In my opinion, if they bring it back to it's original glory it'll be a big
improvement to the
boardwalk. My only concern is what are they going to put inside the buildings?
Just out of curiosity, wh
Hi Chuck,
I'm not usually negative about the beachfront.
One quirk that I have is my disdain for the Casino. I think we
should dump it and build something wonderful there.

Well, maybe we'll get lucky and that won't be the case.
At very least, we'll have an attractive building there instead of the
ruin it has become.
Hey, does anybody know of any photos of the inside of the powerplant
building, or The Metropolitan Hotel?
