On most traditional pabx's it's possible to set layer 1 to permanent or
call. It sounds like your system is configured for permanent and your lines
to call. How you would set this on asterisk I have no idea.

zapata.conf
channel = has to bee the last statement per channel definition.
So if you specify overlapdial=yes after channel = this has no effect.

I'm using vanilla bri-stuff-0.1.0-RC2k from www.junghanns.net and
everything looks right. There are no errors or warnings during startup.
It seems to work correctly (well SIP and IAX2 anyway) until I try to
dial out over the ISDN line.
I get the following:

What I understood from earlier discussion is that the AVM cards do not
support ptp mode, only in the more expensive models. (Or was that Eicon,
but those are all expensive... mmmh) ;)
Either way, zaphfc/qozap seems to be the better choice for any application.
