I have three live boxes just upgraded from 1.1.0/1.4 to 1.1.1/1.8. While two
work fine, one seems not to reload Asterisk settings when the
button/dropdown/checkbox on /admin/edit.php is used. I gather that the CLI
reload command has changed in 1.8, and have delved around, and sure enough
I have a minor issue with this upgrade. My 1.1.0 boxes are all Asterisk 1.4.
On three of them, I have changed the repository address to Asterisk 1.8 as
required, and then carried out the firmware upgrade. In all three cases, the
browser hung. However, the upgrades appear to have succeeded. I've not

I am trying to set up a VMWare instance from the geni586 image, following
the instructions at http://doc.astlinux.org/userdoc:tt_vmware. When I try to
create persistent storage, either via the GUI or the CLI, I get:
Format of drive /dev/sda failed, use fdisk manually.

A quick feature request: the GUI seems not to allow editing of actionlist
entries, only creation and deletion. Since we use the Comment field for
staff names, and staff leave and join, this would be useful.

Take a look at ipsec-vpn.conf, it is actually a script that automatically
sets the ENABLED shell variable based on the VPN rc.conf variable (among
others).
