With my credit card, it's actually a credit card with my bank, which is one reason it's easy to pay off and check charges with. I would only be charged interest the month ending the month after I made my payment, so effectively anywhere between about 30 and 60

Yes, debit cards are tied directly to your bank account, however; if you detect a fraudulent charge, the money is put back within 24 hours. One of the things my bank allows me to do is set the limits on the debit card through their online banking site, I keep its limits
