I just got into my password manager, and chose 1Password over KeePass because it supports Wi-Fi syncing. I didn't want a cloud-based sync solution. Yes it's proprietary, and yes it costs money, and yes it costs rather more money

Well, about DB and it downloading all files to your phone, that isn't the case with the DB app for iOS. When you are going to try to view a file from your db app, it will just download it when you doubleTap on the file.
