Hi guys
I have an SB3 (with the new mars bar remote). It is being served from a
Qnap TS-201 from Progressive running 6.3.1. The SB3 firmware is 55.
When running normally the SBs response is instant to the remote. I have
had no performance problems. I'm going over wireless from a LinkSys 54G

On the flash wearing out issue, its not really that bad. There are
different types of flash, some can go to over 100,000 writes.
The number of writes is to a specific address, not to the chip as a
whole, thus most flash disks have an internal algorithm that spreads
the writes around so the same

What is the best way to connect a sb3 to a Derek Shek d1, coax or
optical? And which brand nodel of cable? My only experience is
connecting a dvd player to a dolby digital receiver with a coax lead
with rca phono connections. Will this lead do until I can buy something
more suitable?
